I just started doing this pattern last month and man did it mind F me for awhile! Lol
I don’t know what it is about this geometric design that sends my brain into shut down mode , but it does. I’m glad you made this video for me to reference so I stop burning brain cells. Lol

Great video as always. I can see where this could come in handy. Makes for an easy way to keep a design straight around an open area or initials.
Highly recommend his centering ruler, has really made my work a lot easier

I noticed at the beginning that you said you had to rewet your leather a little more. Should you start with it sprayed with water a little?
Your work is absolutely beautiful!!! 😍

I love this pattern. Have you ever tried it with a vertical thumb print tool to create some more definition before doing the decorative cuts?

@jayplays568 yes, that's how Don Gonzales teaches it, cool results!

@@makersleathersupply1220 thanks. Did you do a video showing how you finished this pattern with dye/antique/etc?

I've recently done something like this as inserts in a wallet shell. I used the same shader stamp as the border tool. It gives less of a "western" vibe (as per customer request).

Could you tell me what that "scalloping" ( dont know the correct term) western look is called. The bottom yoke part of the bag handle strip is what im referring too. Thanks

I enjoy watching your work and have made a couple of things that were inspired by watching. One major (friendly) piece of advice though, PLEASE stop shoving everything in our face for a close up. It makes me move back from my monitor every time you hold something up to the camera. Either zoom in or simply point it out. It is really distracting.
Again, I really enjoy the rest of the content. Thanks!
