Setting Up an Epson Ecotank 15000 as a Sublimation Printer

In this video, I show you how I set up my Epson Ecotank 15000 as a sublimation printer. The process is very similar for all Epson Ecotank printers. In setting up the printer, I used Hiipoo Sublimation Ink that I received for free from Hiipoo.

Hi Marilyn!!!!! I just purchased the Epson 15000 to convert to Sublimation. I am going to follow along with your video but I just wanted to double check if you’re still happy with the ink and would you still recommend it?

Yes, I love this printer. It does print on 13 x 19. I rarely use my other sublimation printer and mostly use the Ecotank 15000. Thanks for watching.

Great video!
Does your printer reproduce correct color? I purchased the same model a week ago and it does not print red colours. Everything in red gets printed either orange or lighter pink.

Yes, mine does product very good colors. Have tried to press anything that should be red to see if the color gets to a vibrant red with the heat? Does it print red when you just do a nozzle check? Sorry you are having these issues.

@@MakingwithMarilyn thank you, Marilyn! Although I am not using it for sublimation, your answer helped me to solve the problem! Turns out it was the kind of papers I was printing on that made the colours not only painfully washed out but also unable to reproduce the red colour. Very good paper quality that worked fine with my previous Epson printer (cartridge) but not as much with the ET-15000.
I’ve bought a different paper and the colours are astonishingly great! Including the red tones! Thank you.
