I also go over all of the supplies you need to start sublimation in 2021, and take you along with me in making my first print! Thank you so much, I am a visual learner too so I had to watch others setting theirs up too. Overall the cost is a little expensive to get into but the cost per print isn't that bad once you get into it. 😊
@@SimplySallie I started in embroidery, trust me, sublimation is minor cost compared to start up for embroidery. I went backwards I should have started with sublimation lol =)

The best results of sublimation (in a shop I worked) we had with a heat press for textile and a special heat
press for cups and tumblers. We did use a heat oven too, but the colors didn´t had that much itensity.
oh, by the way...you can wash the textile 1000times and it doesn´t lose any color.
AND...you can eavan bleach it after sublimation 😍👌 without loosing colors.

Awesome video. Still waiting on my 15000 to be delivered. I was eyeing it for so long and decided to just take the plunge. Am trying to decide between Epson sublimation ink (t49m for their F170 model) and Cosmos inks, but your video is pushing me towards cosmos. I’ve down loaded epson printer drivers deleted Nd downloaded 4 times. I cannot get the ICC profiles on my Mac. All I get is a 3.0. The update is 13.04 from Epson website.

I have this same printer and I love it! My favorite thing is coffee mugs. Sooo rewarding to see them come out amazing. My second favorite is wine cups!! I use an arc mug press for those too. Cosmos ink for the win🥰
Kristin ... how is with maintaince for printer? Do you need to print every day so ink not dry?

Thank you for posting! I followed along with your video to set up my Epson 15000. I printed something from my computer though and the colors were super pale! Yours were so vibrant right away! I’m using a Mac, thinking I have something wrong 😑 Any suggestions? I’ve watched so many other videos and read so much, my head is spinning!

I know Cricut was having some difficulty issues with the website 🥴 can you tell me if we can do that

can you print the larger sub paper how wide or long can it print. and thank you for taking us thought the step
I was watching the ink tanks when you were printing all the test sheets - is it using alot of ink???? or maybe it just settles once you get it working? It will be interesting to know how fast it goes through ink. Also, do you have to do anything daily to the printer? can you not use it for a week or more and the ink will be okay? I know with the old printers when you converted you had to run it every day to keep ink from drying up. Thank you =)

I came so close to getting the sawgrass but the larger size and cheaper ink sold me for sure!
I watched your video a while ago and I was just wondering.....How often do you use the 13x19 sublimation paper?? Is it really necessary?? And the ET-15000 is out of stock or double in price.

I didn't use there profile either . Seems to be more if you use their advertised paper. I got better colors using another profile but it also seems to vary per printer/computer/printing software. I tested about 7 profiles to see what worked best for me.
One more question beautiful Sallie. I bought brand new et15000. Can i use it first as a "normal printer" and then when all normal ink is gone, to pure sublimation ink inside when the tanks are completely empty?
What kind of heat press do you recommend?

I got the Epson T 2720 it takes the echo tanks. I converted that to a sublimation printer
I found one today at Staples. A week after I ordered my Sawgrass. I bought it anyway because they’re so hard to find.

Just needs to be eco tank this specific one does larger sizes like the sawgrass printer just way more affordable.
