Cole pitched like an ace, only even in one jam the whole game, Lasagna of last year, 1.62 ERA since the break, Yanks took their walks etc until they got to Quantrill, great fundamental baseball, could easily have been 8-1 when some hits didnt find grass, Guardians very few balls even well-struck

Rizzo's defense was arguably more important than his bat. Those scoops at first base are not easy. He had several of them, saving his infielders.
