    About me:
    I am Siddhant Patil from Mumbai. I have completed my Master's in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from one of the best universities in the world, The University of Manchester (UK). I am myself a young entrepreneur and I am aware of the problems faced by young Indian entrepreneurs due to lack of entrepreneurial education in our country. I plan to help all those young, budding people in India who have a dream of creating a large company and making a huge impact on society.

    What people will feel weird is waiting for 40minutes. But I say as a Bangalorian its common for us, people jell with each other during the wait. Locals will give you so much information about things, they become friends for life. At the end when our turn comes it's a joy to savour the food. Please never hesitate to wait at good restaurant in Bangalore. 🙂

    "You can create or build big businesses when you can create FOMO or envy from people"
    They spend heavily on marketing, not directly but by calling micro influencers from insta or even youtube by paying min 10-20k per influencer.
    They fill the full insta feed with the food vloggers, so when you see that brand everywhere, FOMO is created where we come out and try.
    Heavily investing in marketing indirectly to create engagement on social media.
    When it comes to food, not so good when it comes to Tea or Coffee, as I am from Bengaluru I have tasted even better tea or coffee in Bengaluru in cheaper price.
    Dose is fully drenched in ghee, no one will come to know is it ghee in dose or dose in ghee.
    PURELY Overrated.

      Oily dosa is common in good place in Bangalore. People eat the dosa and first clean oil/ghee with tissue paper and then wash with soap in the wash basin. It's ever been this way of dosas. Not to worry. 🙂

    Bhai kis sheher se ho.
    Delhi aur Mumbai se jyada cosmopolitan Bangalore ho gaya hai and this cosmopolitan people are mostly young people .
    Authentic South Indian food is huge area. Open dosa aur podi idly nahi.
    Yeh place Davanagere ke thatte idly aur benne dosa se jyada inspired hai . Bangalore is full of places which are overhyped and crowded . One of them is this.
    Tried few places over weekend and realise kiya pay karke itni mehnat karke kaun khaye . Wait for 40-45 min , hunt for a place to seat aur fir jab muh mein khane ka nivala jaye you are exhausted. Isse better hai kahin chale joo jo Sam’s cheez equally ya usse better bhi ho sakti hai aur theek thak crowd ho ki aapko aaram se jagah mil jaye.

    • @StartUpwithSid
      @StartUpwithSid  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can be but it’s very difficult. Few chains have done it like Saravana Bhavan, A2B but there not many other brands who have been able to expand pan India or even globally.
      Most of South Indian food brands go to Malaysia or Middle East if they want to expand as there are lot of South Indians there.
      No exclusive cuisine restaurant can scale like a general fast food QSR as tastes and preferences change with regions.

    Self service, no tables, no waiters, no table cleaning boys, no water serving guys..all cost reductions, but imp is daily sell..Quality of raw material, competative cost, varieties with innovations for large or high cost less customers to make money...4 rupaye ki roti bhi udupi hotel me 19/- ko milti hai...that doesnt mean great business...its over priced business

    • @StartUpwithSid
      @StartUpwithSid  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sir QSR’s are mostly self service to maintain the speed of business. Also it’s going to be priced more because they themselves say that it’s a “Premium chain of South Indian QSR”.

    • @prashantmhatre3736
      @prashantmhatre3736 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@StartUpwithSid premiumness either should reflect through ambience of eating place or premium raw material. In context to no sitting, no staff require to serve, irrespective premium grains use, with bulk buying, buying cost will be always low ..price looks overcharged...its good for minds who feel - high cost means good.

    • @StartUpwithSid
      @StartUpwithSid  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your definition of premium in terms of ambience works for fine dining restaurants not for QSR. Which QSR has water serving guys ? Waiters ?
      Also I don’t think u have personally been there. So u don’t actually understand the definition of premium in terms of the ingredients and raw materials they use for cooking.
      You are right this is a high profit margin business but what u are saying doesn’t make sense.
      You can complain about taste that is ok but high or low price doesn’t concern you, it’s their business . Also high price is subjective, it’s relative to your income. Either you choose to eat or not. As simple as that .

    • @prashantmhatre3736
      @prashantmhatre3736 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StartUpwithSid its their business -- their business they are not keeping in home but they are taking at market, so market, as a consumer has every right to comment , like, dislike or express feeling as overcharged.. Any investor will also comment, if you take business in his/ her front.
      Do you expect all should give 100% appreciation? Why? Opinions, feedbacks are individual right to express if lproduct or service experience or information is lked/ disliked. Thats point from where business always looks to build new strategy for more acceptances. These are learning tools and not to get looked with ego.
      Best luck

    • @StartUpwithSid
      @StartUpwithSid  ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess until you build something bigger and better than them it’s better to just appreciate. I appreciate you taking out time to share your feedback. Your perspective is skewed from a subjective customer POV probably because you don’t have an insight on what it takes to run a business like that.

    Hype for sure to justify the costing. Why should I stand in a queue for close an hour to eat authentic South Indian Food. Across Bangalore , Chennai and Hyderabad, we have dozens of excellent restaurants serving good south cuisine. And if you want to dine in good ambience, many upmarket restaurants are open to you across India. No sensible person will expose self to the endless queues for hours unless the food is charity or occasion-specific. The research team should have applied itself to the financials of the restaurant brand for a decade. Wish them well. Incomprehensible.

      Parachute might not be the best coconut oil but the branding and marketing is in a way to make u believe that it’s the best.
      Main purpose of the companies is to build trust and create a story that attracts customers.

      @StartUpwithSid if a business is scaling to that level one need to increase the kitchen size and manpower plus 3rd party deliveries with dedicated order handovering place which drastically reduce the amount of crowd ,for a good customer experience 40 min time is a hell a lot,what sence to call it qsr then rename it as SSR(slow service reasaurent) if they are really so good they are loosing a hell lot of customers as everytime somebody can't waste 40 min in waiting

    • @StartUpwithSid
      @StartUpwithSid  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U have a point and that’s the reason they have now expanded to 4 outlets in Bangalore to distribute the crowd. Also if u see the original store in Indiranagar there’s no space for expansion.
      They deliberately didn’t delivery using 3rd party platforms online because they wanted to build their customer loyalty that way. Now they have started doing that as well.
      They started just 2 years ago. They have grown so quickly that it takes time to optimise as well. However for a 150sqft kitchen they are very well optimised to manage 7500 customers a day.
      Optimise while scaling is very easier said than done.

      150sqft is the size of kitchen my friend even I know that the store is much bigger than that. And yes it serves 7500 customers a day so if it has to do 15 lakhs of sales the AOV needs to be approx 200 rs which is definitely possible.
