Demon slayers are people who got hurt by demons" it is not a demons fault how they act, as this manga/anime portraits really well that people are not born evil, but are turned evil through rough experiences. Since it’s said that demon’s blood being exposed to wounds can turn people into demons, can other low level demons change people with their blood when its exposed, like a disease, or since Muzan lived a long time he just makes demons anywhere he goes? I have been a little confused by this haha
@@muichirotokitou2615 MANGA SPOILERS Yeah, that's because Upper Moons have more concentration of Muzan's blood (since he gives it to them regularly, not like Lower Moons who receives it once in a while), so they basically use his blood to make other demons sometimes. We also see this with Douma, he gives his blood to the siblings that are Upper Moon 6.
That's one little gripe I have about the show after watching multiple reactions. Demons already have lots of typical vampire traits, but because Giyu generalizes in episode one and just says demons can turn humans into demons, a lot of people kinda get locked into the idea that these demons are vampires. I assume the reason why that is done is twofold. For one, the viewers aren't supposed to immediately know the name of the big bad. Second, Tanjiro is still just a random kid who might not even be able to become a demon slayer. That would be a big secret to spill to him.

So I’d suggest to make the names sound smoother in English speech you want to stress the first syllable if the name is three syllables or less, and the second-to-last syllable if the name is four or more syllables. So instead of “tan-JI-ro” it’s “TAN-ji-ro”, and instead of “ne-ZU-ko” it’s “NE-zu-ko”. Hope this helps!

And although the subtitles said it was a hypnotic suggestion, it was actually a spell. “Anji wo kakeru” means “cast a spell,” as opposed to hypnosis, which would be “saimin jutsu.” In a later episode, when they refer to this, they say “spell” in the subtitles... I think they had a team of translators working on different episodes and each person interpreted the Japanese in different ways.
Yeah, them teeth sounds were freaky. lol And yeah, I really enjoy it when both Tanjiro and Nezuka are fighting together. I like how in doing so, it shows how much they care for each other by them wanting to protect one another. Stinks that the episode had to end on a cliffhanger like that, but ah well. That dynamic of Nezuko being hypnotized is actually something I'm personally not a fan of. I feel like her hugging and protecting other humans, and viewing them like her family, would've been MUCH stronger if it was from her own volition, rather than suggesting that she did so partly under hypnosis. I felt like that was a big misstep on the writer's part, and her showing compassion to other humans now feels a little cheapened to me because of it. Ah well. And, as usual, hope you consider "Monster" by Naoki Urasawa, as a potential next anime reaction. So, it's the 'perfect time', like a rare steak to the demons. I believe it is also officially possible to get married in Japan right now at the age of 18 (for male) and 16 (for female). Although, I could be wrong on that last detail.
