Not sure I agree, there are a few later episodes that are obviously great, don't need to point out which I think. But rewatching some of these earlier ones I kind of miss the mystique and seriousness of the first few episodes. That feeling of horror of the first one, and the mystery of the ghost children, it was all very mystical, which I do miss a bit in later episodes, they're great in a different way.

Tanjiro is a protector, not an avenger as you tought on the first episode, he never faces his enemies in fury, it clears his mind to see the really pitiful nature of demons.
The human soul within the demon was always suffering. All he ever really wanted was to be able to hold his brothers hand again, but the twisted nature of the demon manifested this into the many hand demon to symbolise its souls suffering. Imo
Omg i finish the series and i never realise that. Spoiler All the demons like that but somehow never click in my head. (Expect the family its just 1 demon manifestation through the others)

Fun fact! The angry purple mohawk dude's voice actor is the same as Bakugou's in the Japanese version of My Hero Academia! The performance is basically the same, too. So if you ever wondered what Bakugou sounds like in the Japanese version, there he is!

You can change what kind of reactors you get, by simply not watching what they bring to the internet and switching to a reactor you enjoy much more. One of the things I really love about this series is it keeps reminding the audience that these oni were once humans, and that they were often transformed against their will or felt they had no other choice (dying/sickly). Yes, they are monsters now, but they weren't always so. It really helps the audience understand Tanjiro's compassion and empathy, too. EDIT: And Nezuko's reintroduction had me howling with laughter. It seems her new philosophy in life is "If there is an Obstacle in your path... Kick it".

Now, it's a bit of a lore that I caught from the Haganezuka, the blacksmith who forged Tanjiro's sword, and probably the reason why I love his concept so much... When Tanjiro saw his mask when Haganezuka turned to him. You can hear him saying "Hyottoko-men?" (-men stands for "mask") but the subtitle said "A clown mask?" This was in reference to the character depicted by the mask, which originated to the theatrical plays of the era (Taisho, 1910 - 1920ish, likely originated from earlier times, too). The "Hyottoko" was a comical character often depicted with obnoxious and peculiarly funny mask expression. This aligns with Haganezuka's character, which is just plain weird, but hilarious at the same time. In another note, "Hyottoko" was (if I'm not wrong) a guardian or spiritual deity that was worshiped in the past on particular regions of Japan. Mostly and specifically by swordsmiths as the Hyottoko was a "God of Furnace." Hi = "Fire" Otoko = "Man" As such, the "Hyottoko" became a sort of worshiped deity for blacksmiths on particular regions of Japan. It's appearance often depicted as a "man blowing into the fire of a furnace." And if you notice, Haganezuka's mask looked like someone who was blowing into something. It also fits to his occupation as a blacksmith who forged the "Nichirin"/"Color-changing Sword."

The show shows u a demons back story to show you this qoute "demons are humans who got hurt by humans. Demon slayers are humans who got hurt by demons" it is not a demons fault how they act, as this manga/anime portraits really well that people are not born evil, but are turned evil through rough experiences. Demons act by instict basically.
No, he did not. It's not the same voice actor but the Tanjiro's voice actor attempts to do the crow voice acting and sound exactly like the original crow voice actor. You can search the video, i think alot of people watch the video without subtitles so they thought they are the same voice actor.

I love it when Tanjiro expresses sympathy for a demon in the show. That kind of compassion that is shown from him gives his character, and his adversaries, some much-needed depth in this show, even if it may be just a little. It'd be so easy to just be like "Humans good! demons bad!" and that'ss the end of that. Not nearly as complex or compelling (though, this is also a common trope with anime involving demons). As I've said before, I'll be mentioning Monster, by Naoki Urasawa, on each Demon Slayer video, as a suggestion for a future anime reaction. It's an excellent psychological mystery/thriller, that's grounded in reality. It's free on TH-cam to watch as well. :)

At some point I was really unsure whether I liked Tanjiro. I thought he felt a bit like a Mary Sue type character, but I guess he is just that likeable in a 'show don't tell' way.
Tanjirou's sword become black because his body doesn't compatible with Water Breathing. His family use different breathing to fight demons taught by the first user of breathing technic
