Ayooo. Saw this video in my TH-cam feed today for some reason. Another Genshin player trying out Tower of Fantasy?? So far, I loved it. It was a very unique enough experience away from Genshin Impact after I have reached Domain 9 (the floating land in the sky) in my main story quests. 👼
game needs to let people know that if you go to vera that early that you skip a ton of story and content that could be helpful. the first planet also offers tons of good rewards for just getting 100% map exploration on each of the maps
Wait till u see how much better the Gacha is, compared to Genshin. No pity reset, Guaranteed new weapon at 120 summons or dupe if you already have it with a 50/50 at 80 summons, and this includes even the newest characters. If you drop one copy, You can buy dupes as long as the banner they were on is still going.
lol. Wait till you see how much power creep is in this game. At least in Genshin the unit you got last year can still be meta. Also, the gotcha system is not better You need more than one copy to build an effective character. So technically, it’s much worse . Specially, if you include matrices.
@@Phillipmurrthe problem with genshin is definitely new characters can remain ass after getting released and never be good. But definitely in Genshin if you wish for meta, your characters will remain strong. Old characters like Hu Tao are still dominating here and there. But both I still think are terrible.
Nah genshins is better honestly. If u pull for 2 dps in genshin ur set till endgame and moreover. In tof u have to constantly pull and enjoy ur fav units for only a little while before they are rendered obselete.
I just started this game and have no idea what I’m doing lol. There’s a lot on my screen and too many things to level up/upgrade. I feel weak and don’t know anything but I’m having fun lol. Just wish I could understand how be as strong as possible without wasting resources
@@user_Z- hey! yeah, must be a bit overwhelming to be a new player right now, I get it. As for being "weak" well, that's kind of a given when you're new to any game, as you keep grinding it'll get better :) The best advice I could give you (especially if you're F2P/low spender) is to choose an element/role as soon as possible, and stick to it. If you're not planning on spending thousands of dollars on this game, and you *want* to do damage, you *can't* pull for every character. Rainbow teams aren't really a thing in ToF anymore, unfortunately. Also in regards to weapons, general rule of thumb: you don't skip altered units. Farm every single resource available to you, be it map exploration, quests, events, even some obscure ones like grinding DC from the achievement logs and vehicle upgrades. Every bit helps. Also, before you pull you should do some research on the character to see if it's the right fit for your team. We're one banner behind the CN servers, so you can use that to your advantage to kinda see into the future hehe. What region are you playing? If you need any help or have any further questions let me know!
I stopped playing the game cause it's been so confusing and I felt so weak cause I am such a low Level but thank you for the tips I might start playing and see how it goes but I would really love some guidance how can I keep in contact with you cause I need someone to guide me and you know alot about this game😭

The thing you find confusing in this game is that charcaters ARE the weapons. Your character wields 3 of them. Then, on a "just skin" or cosmetic side, you can choose to have any of those characters visible instead of your unique created character.
The game is an MMO but when I'm playing it, it still feels like I'm just alone in the world like Genshin Impact. You can meet random people in the field but there's nothing that we can help each other I feel like they were just NPC haha
I really wish everyone can have a second try of the game the same as you do. Not too touched by the negativity of the community. It's genuinely a game I don't suggest to people due to the negativity. The gacha system, flexible movement and combat, varied character gameplay (not always tbh though), beautiful landscapes, fun creators, customisation, vehicles, varied gameplay and events that can be annoying but definitely not boring. Anyway I'm waiting for TOF classic, I really do wish you started there. The biggest issues with this game that are hard to ignore is the balancing. Not even just balancing amongst players, but as well things you're fighting. It's either the content is too unreasonable hard or way too easy that you can play it with your eyes closed. When I play a game like TOF I want to dodge and strategies, but TOF seems more focused on weapons you came with. Sometimes I genuinely can't get killed by anything
Fair overview, good to see these instead of the doomposting trend, keep it up and have fun! If you need any help, you can ask me as well (day 1 player without any time skips) as others in the comment section :)
😅 Genshin is a forbiden word (is only for lollycoms "call the FBI type of game", all character looks like little girls) I quit genshin after a week playing it, in the other hand ToF feels different, similar style but totally different experience, I feel horrible for discovering this game late, I hated genshin then I wasn't interested in this type of games and just discovered ToF and fell in love with this game, people still call a copy of genshin but if is the case I will say a super improved copy of genshin, after play more you will find the game mechanics much much better and you will understand much better the mechanics, what you called ultimate attack is a charged weapon not the ultimate in ToF you use your ultimate with "1" in your keyboard, the charged weapon atttack is a mechanic for switching weapon, the better you build your team (3 weapons) the better rotations you get then you rotate weapons to increase your buffs and deal more attack or shater enemy shields, this game is more interesting in terms of mechanics than genshin, you can chose a role like tank dps or healer, you can choose elements like volt, flame, ice etc you can add buffs with matrices to imcrease buffs, and you didn't discovered Shiro sneak attak yet🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the characters are uffff ... this is the game of WAIFUS, cat girl (Shiro) hot chick (Samir) well ... a lot to see, just check sneak attack 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 some characters like Shiro has a PERFECT sneak attak 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sumary you are a child or underage go play genshin with little girls and auto attacks, you are on age then play ToF 😉
Genshin is a kids' game focused more on lengthy, unnecessary dialogues and pre-rendered cutscenes, with pointless, frustrating puzzles and clunky, lame movement mechanics. On top of all that, it has a terrible stamina system. The resin system is so predatory that it will force you to spend money if you want any real content to do in the game. The story cutscenes and dialogues are so lengthy and time-consuming that halfway through the game, you'll find it tedious to go through. However, in ToF, the movement and combat are buttery smooth. Exploration counts your progress, and points show up on the map. Flying around with characters and mounts is so fun. The story cutscenes may not be as flashy compared to Genshin, but they progress the story, unlike in Genshin, where you're just solving the crisis of every nation with very little information on the actual story. The world-building looks like a children's playground with little to no innovation; it looks so basic, a generic JRPG. The only thing it has over ToF is its detail to the environment, and that's it.
