@@VoloMuseumAutoSales And I'm not saying to beat on it. Jay you got after just right, after all these are muscle cars. Let us see it and hear it. Love your channel forever, thanks for what you do there!
@calebgrams It's just your dad is a seasoned driver, you'll get there someday. I'm 64 & have been around racing my whole life, I know what I see. Keep at it, love Volos videos!
@@TheDRUM2112 _Caleb is Jay's cousin. Although for a long time, I thought the same thing. The Grams family at Volo Cars Illinois always has the very best in American muscle and those collectible keepers we all want. The coolest thing about Caleb, he's super respectful of these high-dollar muscle cars, and his excellent driving skill demonstrates this. (That said when Jay is behind the wheel, he reminds us why we love muscle cars)._
Wow! This is one gorgeous Chevelle. I LOVE that color scheme on Chevelles and the window tint tops it off perfectly. One of my favorite number combinations…4-5-4!
Always been my favorite body style out of the 70-72 generation because of the rear chrome bumper and taillights. Nice car! I love the test drives, only problem i have with the winter season is the weather conditions sometimes interfere with the drives 😂
We'll get Caleb there, but you'll have to enjoy a bit more of Jay because Caleb will be out for a few days. So Jay's stepping in to the test drives as well.
That's one danged nice Chevelle - and I dig the shade of blue!!! _(__11:20__ - when you said the car drives really well, lol I could almost hear the tune, "Bad to the Bone" playing in the background like in the movie "Christine") Muhaha!!_
Awsome chevy from the huge batcave 🦇, colour My favorite, thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩 USA 😎 ☀️
HEY GOOD LOOKING CAR I ALSO HAVE A 71 CHEVELLE ALMOST THE SAME COLOR I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE THAT THE MAN YOU GOT THE CAR FROM CAN TELL YOU WERE HE GOT THE PASSAGER SIDE MIRROR AT THANKS
Nothing short of replacing the two fenders and adding four lights in the front would make that into a really nice looking car Instead of what the engineers did to destroy it I had a 1970 Chevelle Super Sport LS6 454 after I got out of the service I bought it right out of the showroom Empire Chevrolet black with white racing stripes and cowl induction from 1970 to 71 They destroyed the front end of that car Some engineer thought it would have been a good change I hope he got fired When you look at the 66 GTO which I had and the 67 GTO They didn't do that much and left the car basically intact They just changed the rear tail lights which the 66 looked much nicer
You would think for the price the want for their cars they would get the facts and terminology correct. It's called cowl induction and most of the time it is actually on the scoop. And it sounds like he's nit sure if it's a real SS or a clone. I wouldn't buy a car from someone who knows nothing about the car except what he reads on que cards.
Cannot stand tinted windows nice car just don't like them I got sunglasses I don't need tint it doesn't matter I just enjoy watching them cuz I'll never be able to afford another car like this so that I used to have when I was younger but an old man can

"Most likely a SS?"...run that VIN and it'll show what trim and build code it is
The VIN tells it came with a 454 but does not specify SS. It would be extremely odd 454 non SS
Pretty sure the 454 was only available with the SS. That's why you couldn't get it in a wagon.
👍💯😎💯👍
😎👍
454 cubic inch with 450 Horsepower. The last year for Horsepower. The following years Horsepower was reduced by 50%.
The 72 chevelle 454 was the LS 5..270 hp..the benchmark 450 hp LS peaked in 1970
@@mattf49006 I thought the highest Horsepower Cars ended around 1970. I assume this Engine has been modified for a 1972.
1970 and 71 were rated at 450. '72 was the first year for the net vs gross ratings.
I bet it run real good on 104 octane fuel
Yes,the tinted windows doesn’t do the car any favors.
They never do.
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
Did not see the flapper come up
No. Easy fix though
It does at 11:00

Who cares whether you like tinted windows or not! It is about this automobile, not your likes & dislikes!👎
