My name is Scotty I'm 76 and I've been shooting for about 3 yrs now. I try to shoot as much as possible. I watch you a lot and you are very informative.
First off love the videos, the best reviews for archery equipment i have seen in my short time in the sport. I live in the USA and i tried ordering them through your link but with shipping im paying about the price of the arrows themselves. I know in your videos you have said the price of freight has sky rocketed but maybe you can ask if there is anyway to order those from usa without having to pay so much for shipping, maybe pandarus lets us direct or from them. i noticed they sell on amazon but i cant find these specific arrows. Thanks so much for what you do for this sport!
I can attest to the quality of these arrows. I have been using them for the past year, I have had good scores and no problems with them at all. Plus, there more affordable than Black Eagle Intrepids. Pandarus makes pretty good arrows at affordable prices.
I've been shooting Accmos arrows, ID 4.2 and 3.2, I think it's the same manufacturer just different branding as Pandarus. I'm just a recreational compound archer, shooting in the backyard or at an indoor range in the shopping mall (12-ish meters), and these group really well for my use. Using a Sanlida Dragon X8, quite an affordable way into archery.
Pandarus are from the same company that manufactures Musen arrows, if I'm not mistaken. For Accmos, I'm not sure. Both Musen and Pandarus have premium carbon variants with straightness tolerance from 0.001 to 0.006.
@@fahlvfaust677 I did get a set of Pandarus Infinity with ID 4.2, with 0.003 tolerance. I would say I shoot a little better with the Pandarus arrows than the Accmos, but the difference is very small. I built the Pandarus myself as they came in a kit, with no option to buy ready made arrows. Accmos was factory assembled. One major difference is that the factory assembled Accmos uses a really strong glue on the knocks, to the point where you really cant replace it. I tried heat and everything, but the shaft gets damaged when you remove it. I would say it's better to buy the Pandarus, assembly isn't difficult and the tools needed to do fletching is not really expensive.
Steve, there is another model from pandarus which is .166' shaft, it is pandarus champion, straightness 0.001.. I have used it, the arrows grouping well.. but the graphic logo is not as beautiful as infinity.. straightness is better than infinity.. can you review about Pandarus Champions..
Only problem I see buying made arrows for a compound is if you nock tune your arrows. Then the cock vane could be in various positions and THAT would make me crazy !!
I found these arrows on Amazon and it shows a 10 GPi but only for 15-30 draw weight. My regular arrows have a GPI of 8.7 and I shoot sixty pound draw weight. So I’m not sure if the made a mistake in their ad for the draw weight
hai Steven. any diferent result between 3.2 arrows and 4.2 arrow at 50 meter? cos i tried Pandarus Champion when i first learn compound bow (which 2 years ago) seem like better result than now since i use Skylon Paragon arrows.
I did a video on that and I could not see any difference. Some say 3.2 has less wind drift. Then others say it is about point weight - heavy point weight less wind drift. I do try different arrows when I shoot better scores I switch. With Compound the best scores I have shot have been Vaps. Saying that the 3.2 I tried had lighter points. So maybe I just needed slightly lighter spine to shoot better. I do shoot better if I shoot more.
I did swtich to the Pandarus for Recurve. I shot my first 290 indoor with the Pandarus and have now shot 3 290s with the Pandarus. I have compared the Vaps to Pandarus with recurve over maybe 20 shoots and I shoot slightly better with the Pandarus.
Im not Steven but I'm sure he trusts to say the right stuff😂 Spine that comes to mind would be about 500 on the stiff end and going towards 600 on the weak end. Just bare in mind for context that, with compound you don't need to have the perfect spine, so long as it's safe they will shoot groups. Jesse Broadwater did or maybe still does use 520 spine Protours with 140gr tungsten points despite shooting 60lb and a draw length of about 29inches.
@@NPC-fl3gq the actual manufacturer is ningbo musen corp? that's the name that keeps consistently popping up. The icepoints would make an amazing outdoor arrow for barebow, and the pricepoint is ridiculous.
This was actually sanlida's reply to me on aliexpress when i messed them that their x10 recurve sight shot up a whopping 150$... "Some weeks ago, many Russian buy on Aliexpress because of this (currency conversion)"
hey mate i enjoy ya vids an knowledge im a greenhorn bow hunter -12 months - im a ebay guy admittedly.. junxing m120..broadys off ebay, alot of topoint stuff and evercatch? anyway my Question to ya is, Im usin a "musen" 400 spine 'red label' for $46 a Dozen?........ can you test these please? ill fund you x6 of them if you want?
These arrows just came in yesterday. I have had the X10 - CA-320 alloy carbon one for 8 weeks or longer now testing. I have shot them in 3 comps and won all of them. So Im really happy - I have the Icepoint too to test. I dont have the cheaper hunting arrows yet. There has been a shortage of carbon so it has been a bit of a wait.
OMG!! The ultimate "ramble excuses" beginning to the vid!!!!!! Jokes man!, well I hope so, I literally just ordered a dozen off u to try em out!!!! ( and forgot to get the nocks swapped!!!! )
One arrow up, one arrow down, one arrow up, one arrow down.. Thats how they should be packaged. With a cardboard form at each end of the box spacing them out just barley enough. Each arrow to slides into the form at the top and bottom of the box. Paper and cardboard is cheap.. I'm not sure why they can't figure out how to ship them one up and one down. Its not science rockets..
What's up with you in that pinky man on the front of that bow you put all that tension in that hand don't you think Just given you poop you know you're a great shot

Thanks Steven for suggesting affordable archery stuff
They seem to produce a great amount of an arrow and rebrand variously at an incredibly low cost
I’m buying these, thanks for the review. 🎯

Pandarus Champion
because you are selling them now.

Thanks for the review. I wonder if one get as dirty hands as with the Paragons ?
Where would I find a spine chart for these arrows. I have just started shooting recurve. Can't seem to find one searching google.
I can't find one either! How to choose a reasonable spine?
Only problem I see buying made arrows for a compound is if you nock tune your arrows. Then the cock vane could be in various positions and THAT would make me crazy !!
Can you test these on recurve? I want to get an idea of how closely matched to 46lb (+/- riser adjustment on an AXT) these pandarus spines are.

If you goto Steve's site where they're for sale the GPI for each shaft is shown.

Hey Steven! For 90 meters: Try nijora onawa xt pro!
The 600 have 4.9gpi...unbelievable speeds... I reach 250fps with my 40# barebow
Hi Steven what spine would I need for a 53lbs 27.5 draw compound thanks

I find these on aliexpress all the time, no spinechart tho... Do these guys have an own website even?
They seem to be identical to Skylon arrows, so I'd use their chart.
