Aw, this is such a cute video! Reminds me of when I first got married. Try cooking every two days, thats what I do. So in a week three ish meals, one chicken, one lamb, one fish maybe? And you can change it up. That way you're not spending as much time as cooking every day, but the food still feels very different during the week X

Hello Hannah, I love ur channel n I have recently joined... This was one of struggles when I first got married... D cooking business n I didnt kno what to do at first.... Thankfully I had different cultural wives who had simple recipes that i learnt over time.. N for me, talking for my experience it got harder raising two kids.. What I suggest is u get like chicken breast season it to ur taste n add like a curry paste/ sauce for example with rice with a bit of salad to keep on d healthy side lol... Dw u will get dere in d end.. Dont b afraid to try new things u n ur partner u live n learn. N also so sorry for d long text... Continue to enjoy married life in Jesus name amen

First time on here and Love the video. Ure Oozing so much happiness and it's amazing!!. I absolutely relate with the 'not knowing what to cook'. Now I just cook for the week stew, egusi, okro, jollof rice, fried rice and yam porridge. And then work with that through the week. One or 2 nights I go out of that a make steak and chip or salmon and potatoes and some days we treat ourselves to takeaway.
Moi moi and beans are also great to add to the list. You could create a meal time table to help as well.

Forgot to say, planning your weekly meals in advance and prepping ahead really helps to cut down time spent cooking. I post loads of food combo ideas and recipes on my instagram and also on my channel so do check them out and I hope you will be inspired.

Looool Hanna I love how you said however but trust me it can be overwhelming and very very interesting, I actually go online to search for ideas. You can check this lady on TH-cam sisiyemmie, she's also married and she gives amazing cooking ideas. P.s. You might just need bigger pots for that soup so it can last; I certainly realised that quickly myself. God bless your home.

Deep Freezers Save LIFES!!! Usually cook a big pot of stew then put some aside and freeze them. It also helps to freeze your vegetables and other things for a long period of time, and when u are ready to use it, bring it out, defrost and VIOLA!
Don't think too much about though...the food looks great though

Are you cleaning three times a day and cooking after working a full-time job? If so, that's a lot. If you can keep it up, more power to you. Then again, it's the honeymoon phase...
Yeah, I do all that for now, God is my strength, although I do realise that as life matures; my routine will keep changing. Having said that, my husband and I, are of the mind that a honeymoon period doesn't just last a while it can last forever if two people work hard.

Invest in cookbooks (if you haven't already), continue searching food blogs for new recipes and allocate a time where you sit down and make a meal plan for the week and a shopping list to go with it. I have a list of ALL the dishes in ALL the cookbooks I own which is a LOT (Girl I've become a collector lol) and I select one recipe from 3 of my cookbooks each week (3 different recipes for 3 days) the other 4 days in the week is for Nigerian cuisine and I alternate it. That way you are learning how to make/eating new dishes every week. I also suggest cooking together too. All the very best hun. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you and Olu. Oh and I forgot. Each month make a batch of stews and soups and freeze them.. total time saver 😉

Try planning weekly/bi-weekly dinner schedules. That way it can be varied and you can even vary it as and when AND also fit around your lifestyle
