20 odd years ago i saw 2 salmon the male fish was about 16lbs and the hen fish about 12 lbs spawning under a small bridge on that feeder just below the water intake from the taff (blackweir)they had cut a red under there,i think they couldnt get into the river due ti a grid there.
Hi As you say the feeder tends to fish better after a good flood with depth and colour I have caught a few chub when spinning for pike and perch Great video
I have never targeted chub or barbel .....and they are in there too ......but caught most coarse fish in there by a stick float These days I prefer pike and perch and trout spinning , had small trout out of the feeder Taff itself is worth a try
Nice video I'm going to give that stretch a go in a couple of weeks the tough is fishing really slow at the moment👍
It can be very difficult there. It usually fishes better after some rain and the water is up and coloured.
