Baptism was a priesthood thing. Priest wash, wash, wash, wash. When jews, believed, Jesus, was the promised Messiah, they got Baptised, circumcised went to Temple worship, animal sacrifice, became part of the priesthood, priest is a go between. We don't need a priest anymore, we can talk to Jesus anywhere we are. Your a Great teacher. Thank you. All scripture is for our learning but not all for our Doctrine. Roman's through philemon is our Doctrine. The church age we live in today! Rapture i believe will happen soon. Just my thoughts, probably no later than end of 2024! Probably before,! Js..

@@martybeazley3306 yes sir. In this age of Grace when you get saved, The Holy spirit Baptism you with the holy spirit. You won't feel tingle, speak in tongues, ect..But you will know and begin to understand things you didn't prior. And things you did that are wrong, you will lose interest in, the Holy spirit will convict you of things you once didn't think twice about. You will begin to feel God's love. And hunger for truth, of his word. Rightly dividing scripture is the only way you will ever understand God's word. All scripture is for our learning but not all for our Doctrine. Roman's through philemon is the Doctrine we live under today, the church age, the body of christ. Paul is our apostle. Roman's 11:13..Roman's 2:16.. 1st Corinthians 15:1-4.. Ephesians 2;8-9.. Galatians 1;6-10... very important to understand this. God bless!

@@rickorider Mr. Justin sounds like a great teacher. Basically he said only Paul letters is only for us Gentiles. I believe he said only Romans thru Philemon. No where in the bible does is say that. This statement is only a theory and not fact. Paul said in 1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; Paul quoted Jesus words many of times in his epistle to the churches. Paul never said to the Gentiles to disobey Jesus teaching. I am not saying anything bad about your teacher Mr. Justin because I don't know him. I am sure he a wonderful person. I am saying this teaching is NO where in the bible. Thanks

      @@matthewbrown9027 Hi thanks.
I probably thought like you a few years ago until the Lord opened my eyes.
Jesus himself said "I have not come but to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal"
So we can ask the question who did he not come to in his earthly ministry if he only came to IsreaI?
The answer is clearly gentiles and that is clearly seen when Jesus said to the disciples not to preach to the gentiles and even Jesus refused to speak to the gentile woman until he marveled at her faith knowing if she as a gentile blessed Isreal she would be blessed like the Roman centurion.
So it's clear from scripture that Jesus earthly ministry was to the nation of Israel.
      The 2 verses that really helped me was Romans 16 v 25 and Acts 3 v 21
The verse in Romans says that Paul preached Christ according to the revelation of the mystery that was hidden since before the world began.
Peter in Acts 3 is preaching about what God has spoken since the world began.
Paul is speaking about what was hidden since the world began
Peter is speaking about what was spoken since the world began
What is hidden is mot spoken about
What is spoken about is not hidden
One is according to prophesy (Peter)
One is according to the mystery (Paul)
Right division is understanding what is the mystery revealed to Paul and what is prophesy relating to Isreal.
When we understand this difference the whole of scripture comes alive as we can under what God was doing, what he is doing now and what he will do.
If we try to mix Jesus earthly ministry with us today get total confusion with people claiming to raise the dead and heal the sick but not during covid where healing rooms were closed!
Jesus taught people to keep the law, hate their own father and mother, sell all you own.
No one does that today but why not if Jesus taught it?
Jesus gave Paul new information that was not known in Acts 2 or 3.
Peter didn't preach Christ according to the revelation of the mystery because he didn't know it.
He was preaching forgivness by repentance and water baptism which was what John the Baptist preached. But it does not contain the cross for salvation as Peter accuses them of killing their Messiah.
Not till Acts 9 does Paul get saved by grace and is given the revelation of the mystery how gentiles can now be saved without Isreal and covenants and promises but by grace alone through the finished work of Christ.
This was never known before. Christ made Paul a preacher and apostal and teacher of the gentiles. Justification is now offered without the law something that had never been known before.
Justin is excellent with his charts showing the timeline of scripture.
We cannot take back into the gospels what Jesus revealed to Paul. That's just not honest bible interpretation.
His 13 epistals stand out distinct to every other book
Peter James and John never mention the mystery or the body of Christ.
James tells us he is writing to the 12 tribes of Isreal so that is not the body of Christ but beliving Isreal the remnant church.
Peter talks about a royal priesthood and a holy nation, again referring to beliving Isreal as Paul never says we are a priesthood or a nation.
We are a new creature blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Something never promised to Isreal.
Have a look at Grace Ambassadors website and TH-cam channel.
They have some outstanding teaching. Justin is going through Romans verse by verse and it's like mining precious stones!
We are in the UK and so many church try to follow Jesus earthly ministry and its total chaos and confusion.
They claim we should raise the dead and then make excuses why it doesn't happen.
They say Jesus told to heal the sick yet shut all healing rooms during covid!
When you understand the mystery it's like a light going on!!
We need all scripture because Paul tells us it's divinely inspired.
But not everything is written to us to do or obey.
God told Noah to build an ark. Are you?
God gave 613 laws to moses for Isreal to keep. Are you keeping them today?
God gave new information to Paul.
We are not in the time of prophesy but the mystery revealed which is why Romans to Philemon is written specifically to us gentiles today.
We need the gospels because it tells us who Jesus is.
We need it all so we can understand.
      James says faith and works
      Paul says faith only.
Both are right because they are to different people.
One believing Isreal who were still keeping the law and the other to gentiles who not required to keep the law.
This is why Paul tells Timothy to rightly divide the word of truth
      Prophesy on one side
      Mystery on the other.
