sick, i tried to make this stuff in logic and failed miserably, i want to jam to it on bass and its so much harder than i predicted. youre sick, this sounds amazing.
Mannn it's great to hear that feedback thank you! Maybe it's time you dip your feet into the world of hardware synths/drum machines to go with your bass 😉
Hey this is really cool! I’m starting to really get into Drum and bass. I want to start trying my hand at making music myself. I really like the concept of making music without a DAW. I’m checking out the products used in this video, but besides these, what else would I need? Wires etc? Is a computer program needed at all? There’s a lot to learn.
Every hardware device is super expensive because they prey upon your artistic ambitions. It's totally fine to buy these and or more, but just don't expect to ever make your money back
Thanks for the feedback! It's really hard when starting out to know what to get cuz there's so much out there and everyone has different preferences. At the minimum you would need at least 1 polyphonic synth and a drum machine (which is what I am using here). Alternatively I would recommend a Groove box like a Novation Circuit or the new Ableton Move (which does not need a computer), since grooveboxes have a drum machine and various synths in one both. You will only need a computer and auduo interface if you want to record in high quality, but You can get a portable field recorder like the Zoom H4N to skip the computer completely. Buy everything used if you can
Thank you that's really good advice and could have definitely done that. Actually most of the pads are 7th or 9th chords so had enough polyphony to even add simple leads from the volca but was just feeling a more minimal vibe for some reason
This is so great dude!
@charlinhosbrown wow really appreciate that thank you!!
brooooo.... your set is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔉🔉✨✨
Mannnn really appreciate that!!! thank you
Great work bro🎉
@@Paulsmusik28237 Thank you! 🙏

Lovely stuff!
Thanks man! means a lot 🙏

Jams better than most, minimal setup, just needs a random LOTR quote thrown in
probs cause it's an actual set and not a jam
ahaha thank you!! and will remember the LOTR quote for next time 😂

@@DylanFernoof course, thank you as well for the reply! I’ll check out everything you mentioned, I really appreciate it
@@Snow_Crabdon’t worry I don’t anticipate to ever make money from this lol. I just want to create something that people might like one day
@Vorpal777 I'm sorry for being the bearer of bad news. I just feel the entire music industry leans on people's hopes to "make it big"
OH SHIT, TEENAGE ENGINEERING IS GONNA SHUT THIS SHIT DOWN TOO!
🥚🥗
I would add 1 more synth so there is more than 1 layer of tones. Currently it sounds like a song missing its lead

@@DylanFerno I didn't realize the 2 synth setup was intentional. Either way great stuff!
