- Hi, this video shows you 2 ways to get the Xbox Adaptive Controller working on the PlayStation 4 with Co-Pilot so 2 controllers can be used as one player. This may be useful if you have trouble using the standard console controllers. Remember that the Xbox Adaptive Controller is at present supported only on the Xbox and Windows 10 PC. Although the set ups seen in the video work at the time of filming, they are NOT supported and may not continue to work in the future as consoles/systems get updates.
Many thanks, Vince.
A man of cables and adapters, with no slope too steep and no issue too hard, he finds the solution with little effort, and makes the video so finely detailed. Love it so much.
Nice one Vince, this will help many handicapped throughout the world to get right into gaming..
Vince is everybody's mate.
Exactly mate
discocrisco Vince has helped me with 2 different consoles he is a mate
That's ture.
Hi Vince you inspire me so much I'm 15 and my telly broke and I was gutted as I didnt have the money to buy a new one but I had a broken Bush TV that I found I while ago and there was no standby light I fault finded it and found thag the power diodes were faulty so they arrived today I soldered them back on and boom working I was so happy keep it up vince
Well done, congrats on the successful fix :-)
Vince, You are my man! I hadn't realized you had made this video until now. I think I was the one who asked you for this originally. Obviously I don't read my email closely enough, but thank you for figuring this out! I have a Veteran with hemiplegia I'm working with currently that I will be using this method for. I will be setting up the 3Drudder for him to do stick control on one side (via JoyStick USB port on the XAC), and will use his standard controller for left side. Until I watched this video, I had planned on him using a PDP onehand Joystick controller (nunchuk style remote- unfortunately you can't buy them anywhere right now) plugged into the Left JS USB port of the XAC. Now I think we can eliminate that as the dualshock Ps4 controller will be much better. Was going to use the Brook Xbox1->PS4 converter, but will swap to the titan 2 now.
i love all your stuff especially the switch repairs ^^ mine needs a housing swap
Interesting how you used to Magic-NS which is normally for the Switch, instead of the Magic-S, which is actually for the PS4. Also, they have the Magic-S Pro, which works on both now.
Maybe it won't disconnect after 8 minutes if you used the proper one.
Awsome!
Such a wasted that not a company think of the market of disabled gamers! Screens mad to fit people with really bad eyes and with for example one hand! You do a good thing here offering solutions! Thank you looking forward for your next brilliant idea!
Vince your videos are so helpful. If anyone needs to do this you're the man.
Wished you done some stickers or vinyls saying something like "Fixed with the help of My Mate Vince" in varying size and even some humorous ones like fully paid up bodge it, flog it and leg it school member hehe
Once again you are posting valuable information. Love your videos. As somebody else has mentioned in the comments the Titan 2 is an excellent piece of kit for this kind of set up. Keep the videos coming mate!
Doing the lords work here my friend. Thank you
Nice job. I appreciate your efforts to help gamers with any & all manner of disability.... That is beautiful. Well done Sir.
Part of me hopes I never need to know this..... and another part of me wonders "I wonder if I could get higher scores if I did certain things with my feet???? "
Ben Heck is another good resource for modding controllers, excellent vid vince!
I don't have a Chronus Max., but I use a Brook super converter (the green one) which is XB360/XB1 to PS4... it doesn't disconnect every 8 minutes and it doesn't need a spare controller attached :) Just make sure you update the firmware. This is how I use my Xbox Elite controller on the PS4.
Thanks, unfortuantely I couldn't get Co-Pilot to work when using the Brook converter, the Magic NS wouldn't connect through it for some reason, didn't matter which input it was on. It works fine with the Xbox Adaptive Controller on it's own but I couldn't get any other controller to sync up wirelessly :-)
@@Mymatevince Ah I see. This was nice of you to find it out what works. When I first saw the special controllers when they were introduced I thought of how awesome it was they did that. I'm blessed I don't need them but for less able fellow games, they offer a lot.
i hope Vince does some videos with the Cronus Zen adapter.
its essentally an advanced version of the Cronus Max used in the video with more features & less clutter ( twice the price but its woth it)
With it one can conect a PS controler to one port to bypass the sonys silly security & from there any amount & type of controller can be used (xbox on PS for example)
Thanx Vince, great work
So the Titan 2 doesn’t need to be programmed or set up can just plug it in set the controller to usb plug in both controllers and play
Hi thank you so much I have everything in your video except for an Xbox controller. do I have to buy an Xbox controller to be able to play with my PlayStation 4 controller. Which I only have one of so would I have to buy another one. Thank you so much hope to hear from you soon
Sweet, thanks for the info buddy.
Will I be able to use my brook wingman adapter for this instead of having to buy a Titan One?
Thank you so much for your help:) but is it also possible to use two controller as One?
Love your videos
Hi Vince,
I recently bought the "Titan Two" adaptor
www.consoletuner.com/products/titan-two/
This allows me to use the Adaptive controller in co-pilot mode on the PS4 using just this device.
It's an amazing adaptor that lets you almost use any modern game pad on any modern console, it can work wirelessly aswell. I am able to get co-pilot mode on my Switch, PS4, PC, Raspberry pi, etc. I really suggest checking it out as you can do heaps of other cool things with it like remapping controller buttons and adding turbo functions.
Thanks heaps for all your awesome videos!
Cheers
Christian
Christian Meath Hello Christian. I think I will try to buy the titan two. Can you tell me how it works? :)
did you try the xbox windows adapter with the ns adapter to make it wireless?
does this work with just 2 ps4 controllers without the cronos max
First off, thanks for your excellent old video on how to use an xbox ac with a ps4 via the brooks super converter (pink). I've done everything like you said and I can get the PS4+Brooks to work with a normal xbox controller, but not the ac. Unlike in your vid, when I plug it in the X light doesn't come on. I've tried many things with no luck, and yes, i did update the firmware. Any ideas or solutions? Sorry to bother, but you are the only person on the net who seems to know.
Can you combine a staring wheel's paddles with that and you should be able to play most adventure games with one hand
Hello, I have a Titan Two and I use on PS4 with an xbox adaptive controller. For some reason my RT on my xbox adaptive controller has become a share button and just captures picture instead. Do you know how I can fix this issue? I did update the xbox adaptive controller.
awesome setup!
Hello. I was wondering can I make the same setup xbox adaptive controller and ps4 controller with the cronus zen ??
Do you need the cronusmax plus or does the super converter work with it also?

How d9 u use Xbox 2015 controller on ps4? Please and thank you.
I am an amputee gamer. Is there a way to copilot a ps4 controller with the xbox adaptive on pc?
Do you know if this works with an Apple TV?
Is this still doable today or is there an even more easy route?
Can you do this controller to switch next
With The app PSplay on Play store, u can conect any third pary on ur android, and play via remoteplay, and if ur router its away from ur ps4, u can route ur android to conect the ps4 (without internet data mobile) and play it.. u can map the buttons too.. etc
Hello. I was wondering if I could use the same setup you used on titan two but use the cronus zen ? Would it be able to use ps4 controller and the adapter controller as one controller?
I want to know that too
@@GhostsQueen85 the controller and the adapter controller with buttons works perfectly
@@TheElitesOfWarzone would I have to set it up or anything? I'm curious because I really want the Titan Two adapter but the thing is I can't find it anywhere! 😔

@@GhostsQueen85 they sell them in Europe

Is there no combination of console, adaptor and controller beyond your fevered imagination? :P You should work in a space programme or something, we would be so on Mars sometime soon as you cobble together another work of genius hehe
