He is Sindhi hindu from Sindh. I’m Muslim Sindhi. We love Sindhi Hindu a lot. I live near Advani Gali, Faqir jo Pir, Hyderabad, where L.K Advani lived before partition. I am proud of Ram Jethmalani. 🙏 My grand father use to remember these Sindhi Hindu and cry a lot for they left Sindh. I used to be emotional too as grand pa used to tell many story about these great loving humble people.

According to law even criminals have some rights like right to defense or else numerous innocent people get caught up in the fake cases and then people like you go on blaming judiciary for not looking upon cases in the correct manner. Everything has a procedure you cannot break it just because you know a person is criminal. Moreover a lawyers work is to defend his client, making judgements is the work of a judge.

@Yash At what cost? To defend Manu Sharma he maligned Jessica Lal's character in the court. Yes, I agree that every defendant has a right to defense and any lawyer can defend his/her defendant, but in the Jessica Lal's murder case, every evidence was against Manu Sharma and the morality of this lawyer came under question when he started coming up with bizzard angles and attempted to manipulate the prosecution's argument. And I am no one to judge about a financially successful man, one like Ram Jethmalani's morality, but all I am saying is he doesn't deserve the nationwide commemoration that this channel is giving him. He is like the OJ Simpson of India.

I have recently come to know about him and his early life in Sindh. It's so sad to find out that he had to leave Karachi, as a result Pakistan lost a gem who could've impacted Pakistan greatly. Some people might comment that he would've been killed or held down in Pakistan but I believe as Shakespeare once said "some men are born great...." regardless of where they are. In other words I believe if he had stayed in Pakistan he would've been admired by both India and Pakistan. If Pakistan had lawyers like Mr Ram Jethmalani, our justice system would've been in a much better state.

People complaining that quint is biased because it shows jethmalani bashing modi has not even seen this video properly. He criticized govt (which is modi actually) about black money and Art 370 which are current hot issues in India.

the film jolly llb 1st one boman irani's character was loosely based on ram jethmalani- how many people felt that while watching the movie? and also when mohan agashe speaks to boman irani that do you want us to have a second opinion like to discuss with ram jethmalani when he knew his grandson was not innocent that shows how the real culprits hired him to defend and also they knew how he could manipulate the case and the judges to gain decisions in his favor.

if you guys remember the film Black friday- there is a scene depicting the phone conversation between dawood ibrahim and ram jethmalani (whole conversation i cant remember and mention here). this shows that jethmalani knew where was dawood and he could have easily helped the government, the law agencies and the judiciary and helped the international law enforcement agencies in extraditing this guy but he didnt help the country , its enforcement agencies and the judiciary so what does that show and prove?
second thing if this was wrongly depicted he being a big criminal lawyer could have sued the journalist turned novelist syed hussain zaidi and anurag kashyap the director of the film, but he didnt do that, so once again what does this prove? i will leave up to your intellect and wisdom and pondering and analyzing powers.
