Thanks for the help Dallas. I'm rebuilding a 800. Something else you can do guys, sand down or use a burr to smooth the casting line off the inside of the choke tower, on the primaries, if that makes any sense. It takes like 1 minute.

i built my q jet yesterday using a recalibration kit from quardrajet power i have been using them for 9 years they know their stuff
Personally I blame squirrels
1/2 original pine sol 1/2 water. Soak overnight. It works great better than carb cleaners .
Using a set screw would work and it would have a head on it to deal with.
