- Sky News senior reporter Caroline Marcus says people have to be in a “pretty privileged position” to follow Prince Harry’s advice and “quit their jobs to make themselves happy”.
The Duke of Sussex has advised people to quit jobs which do not bring them joy, saying it was “something to be celebrated”.
“I think this guy is so out of touch with the everyday person who does not have the luxury to think of work as much more than living pay check to pay check, trying to support their families, trying to keep their head above water in a global pandemic,” Ms Marcus told Sky News host Rowan Dean.
“And here he is telling people to basically quit their jobs to make themselves happy.
“I mean there's a reason it’s called work and not holiday because for most people it’s work.
“Frankly a lot of people will find it offensive that they're hearing this type of lecture from someone who’s never held down a real job in his life.”
He quit his job then cried when his Boss/Daddy stopped paying him. Yep, great influencer! 😅

Then despite inheriting over 10 million Pounds from his mother, kept whining he wasn't getting money from the public or Charles wasn't giving him money from the Duchy of Cornwall land he was given when made Prince of Wales, that he collects rent from the serfs. He returned for another stint in Afghanistan as a royal marine lynx helicopter commander.
Hes a big supporter of military personnel injured through war whether losing limbs or suffering ptsd to get up and compete in the Invectus games which has been so successful helping thousands of injured soldiers to rehabilitate.

I think people are also annoyed by someone who's not worked a proper job (like us commoners do) and hasn't really struggled financially, giving any sort of advice. I quit a job once because I hated it so much. Huge financial hit and hardship resulted. In hindsight, it was still the right decision for me, and I found jobs which I much preferred, but unlike many people, I didn't have the worries of a mortgage or kids at the time. If I'd had those, I'd never have been able to make that leap into the unknown. H is an idiot to make it sound so easy to just quit, when there can be huge implications for ordinary people.
Here in Canada you do not get unemployment benefits if you get fired or quit your job. You can quit if you have a very good reason to do so but you quitting because your job doesn't make you happy is not a goid enough reason. They system would be overwhelmed with "Harrys".

Whoever wrote that messaging for H missed the mark. For someone who preaches mental health, and who apparently gained freedom by leaving his family, he seems pretty low, unlike his family who continue looking energized and enthusiastic. Putting aside the mental health initiatives the RF are involved in, perhaps there is truth to their mentions of counselling and talks about mental health within the family. They appear to have taken better care of and supported him than he appreciates. I hope he’s getting the help he seems to need.
