Girl you are STRONG! 31 hours of labor without epidural is impressive. Been watching you for years and it made me cry watching Winnie be born. Happy for you and Niall
Omg absolutely bawling! You are just the most natural mumma, you and Niall at the end is making me cry. She’s so lucky to have you both, she’s perfect! Congrats mumma xxx
I really appreciate how you gave so many details that you don't actually often hear from other birth stories. It was just so honest and real and absolutely enjoyed listening to your story❤
I’m 12 weeks pregnant and I’m absolutely petrified about Labour, this video has made me feel so positive about it. Thank you for sharing and congratulations to you all 🩷
Omg me too, congratulations!!! I was scared but the more positive birth videos I watch the more I feel prepared, you’ll be ready for it xx was her mum there from the start, the whole 31 hours? X
Congrats! Please don’t be worried (I’ve had 4 babies naturally without pain medication) and I can say it’s definitely doable, we are made for this and you can do it too.
Such a beautiful story ❤ You both are so blessed. I'm so glad your Mother was able to witness her birth as well. That was a precious gift you gave her that means So much more than you know. I'm so proud and happy for you guys only the best to come 🥰💗💗💗
I’m literally crying hearing how pure your love is with Niall. You both deserve a life full of happiness and love with your daughter. It’s so funny how I feel right now. Birth and babies have never really made me feel much but watching you (and I don’t even know you know you haha) it made it magical. I cried so hard when she came out and seeing your face and Niall’s face. I love you and I’m so happy for you!!!
I've honestly always thought birth sounded terrifying, but this made me so so excited to have the opportunity to give birth one day. Thank you for describing it so beautifully and reminding me how amazing it is to be a woman xxx
Unfortunately so many women have bad experiences and birth trauma in hospitals it has gotten a scary reputation. But it is supposed to be a beautiful experience! I’m hoping i have an experience like hers too
We’ve all been waiting for this. Winnie is truly the sweetest little thing. She gives all the serotonin when we see her, thank you for sharing your birth story and sharing the book and tools you learned to help the rest of us for when the time comes 🤍
I’m 20 weeks pregnant so I already know I’m going to cry so much through this. I just found out I’m having a boy and I’m so excited!! Sending all the love and well-wishes your way 💙💜
Your story has been amazing to listen to. I have always been so scared to give birth whenever that comes in the future and your story is so comforting to hear and I love that you’ve shared parts that you usually don’t hear about. You’re so honest and open, it is so inspiring ❤
Aw man, listening to you describe your story took me back to my labour a couple of years back. I’ve been crying my eyes out listening to this, such a painful yet beautiful experience! You’ve done so well to describe it in such detail and it’s great that you’ve documented it as you do forget large parts of it as time goes on. It’s Mother natures trick so we’ll do it again 😂
I am so new to your channel but I've watched your entire pregnancy journey. I am a Mom. My daughter is 27 and my son is 24. During the clip of the birth of your daughter I looked at your Mom and the absolute joy on her face just sent me right over the edge. I should also mention that I am a nurse and did work in Labor & Delivery because I've always thought women and their bodies are so miraculous with how we change and what we are able to live through during pregnancy and birth. This was really beautiful. I sobbed happy tears for your family. Thank you for sharing this incredibly intimate experience. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter🩷
I cried watching how beautiful your moment was shared between Niall, your mom, and you. Congratulations to the Kirklands on your new addition! Winnie, welcome to the world sweetheart!
I had my sweet baby boy Stetson 4 months ago at 35 weeks. I had preeclampsia and they sent my body into labor fast. I had blood clots in my lungs a few weeks prior and couldn’t get the epidural because I was on blood thinners. It was the worst pain I’ve ever experience and I’m so damn proud I got through it but also have had some PTSD and guilt for thinking I wasn’t going to make it through. My baby was in the NICU for 6 weeks with a feeding tube and I have to say leaving him daily at the hospital was almost as painful as the birth. Watching your beautiful birth story filled me with all the emotions. Hearing you talk about the hard moments and the beautiful ones makes me look at my babe and just combust with love and happiness. It’s amazing what our bodies can do and the instant love we feel seeing what you nurtured inside of your body for so long. I’m so happy and proud of you Megan!! Winnie is so so gorgeous. Blows my mind I was watching you in the flat in London with baby blue and now we both have our sweet babies 💕 bless your hearts.
Congratulations Megannn!! Winnie is beautiful, God bless your family. I am a student Midwife and I must say, you know your stuff! Love seeing women being educated around labour, it makes it a much better experience when you're aware and informed around choices. Great choice waiting at home as long as you could!! Lots of love to you Niall and Winnie x x
Brilliant vlog Meggan! Such a beautiful wee girl! I just thought I’d clear this up for any of your viewers but “Bloody show” is different to rupture of membranes. It’s when you have streaks of blood through your mucous plug typically due to cervical changes which is why it usually signifies that labour is imminent:) Rupture of membranes is when your waters break and you should always go in for assessment if you think this is the case. You don’t need to be assessed for bloody show. Xx

THANK YOU so so much for taking the time to explain your birth story with this level of details. It’s actually the first time I hear one from the start of the labor to the placenta phase (😮). I believe your story and your advice can definitely help me in the future, once I get to that stage in my life. You were incredible, I’m so impressed by your courage and your spirits. I’m so impressed by Niall as well and it’s become even more obvious how much love there is between you two. Winnie is absolutely adorable, I can already see she looks like the both of you 🥹 It’s so so special to see you becoming parents after having followed you for so many years 🥹❤️ Wish you all so much happiness 💖💖💖 Welcome to this world Winnie 🥰
This is almost word for word my labour and also how I felt.. all those emotional changes that occur during the process are just so beautiful in hindsight and dealing with the most intense but life changing pain.. Your baby is born but you are also reborn 💖💖💖💖💖
I'm crying. This was so beautiful, I can not see the keyboard for tears. Winnie is adorable. Congratulations to you all. So much love to you all. Cannot wait for your family adventures to begin xx
Congratulations! I’ve had 4 water births and this made me bawl. The moment when they place your baby on your chest. Seeing this moment for you brought back all those feelings for me.
Congratulations! Absolutely loved listening to your birth story. I love that you're so raw about what it was all like and how painful it can really be- but equally describing it as something you quickly just forget about once your baby is here. Not something that anyone can really prepare you for 😂 thank you for sharing ❤
You’re such a beautiful couple and such beautiful parents, you were meant to be parents!! I hope everyone finds a love like yours, congratulations to you both!! Sending love xxx

In a world where there is so much negativity on social media your birth story is so beautiful. Winnie is just beautiful & perfect in every way. Enjoy every moment ❤
I was SO happy when i saw you got your waterbirth on insta and so confused when i saw your mum!! This was the best birth/labour vlog ive ever watched! Everything was so well explained, felt like i was there with you and made me so much less scared of the whole thing! I wanna hear more about the after effects on your body esp the going to the loo afterwards for the first time for a 1 and 2 because honestly that makes me terrified more than anything!! Thanks so much for sharing so much, shes gorgeous (but we all already knew she would be) ❤❤
All my labour pains were in my lower back too! My little girl wasn’t back to back, as far as I know. I also didn’t have gaps between my contractions in the last 5 hours, and I never got the urge to push which is odd. Not what I expected! Congratulations on Winnie. She’s so beautiful ❤️ xxx

This is so beautiful Megan! Thank you so much for sharing. I loved your words and I find you so inspiring 🫶🏻 So pleased you’re enjoying motherhood xxx
Such a lovely and honest birth story! Congratulations on becoming a Mom and Dad! ❤
We’ve missed you!!! 🫶🏼 this was so lovely to watch and hear about!!!
You did so amazing Meggan!! So happy for you and Niall🥹🥹 She is the cutest💗💗💗💗
Wowww!! She’s a perfect blend of you two! When I saw her face in between you both I started to tear up, that’s your baby girl momma. Forever ❤
