This makita drill has not seen much work, but it's been worked hard. It's been over worked and cooked the armature, melted the brush holder and brushes.
This particular model has dropped a lot in price now so its not always worth repairing.
This particular repair cost 60 euro all in.
A new drill can sometimes be bought for 120 euro. so this repair is just borderline worth it.
