Hi Bruce and Otis, yes old railway lines make nice steady walks and we have plenty of disused lines over here, add in the history of the information boards great Autumn colour and a Steam train ride back makes it a great family day out cheers nigel

We did it the other way around with the steam train ride first and I remember both the ride and the walk back being brilliant, really enjoyed both. We had intended to repeat it with our 3 year old grandson in the summer but time and the summer just ran away, so it will be next year now. Those field full of cows would have bothered me mind, I hate the bloody things but good to see you caught the steam train back okay and were able to enjoy those gorgeous Autumn colours, cheers Alan

Lovely walk Nigel. Gotta say I enjoyed that twin arch bridge. Yeah, looks sturdy and would have faced some pretty high waters in its time. - loving the sound of the water. Wow industrial heritage galore on this one and blimey ancient seas too. Not able to stop reading. Ha ha! Love them miners cottages - they're pretty nice as nice as the autumn colors and of course the ride on the steam engine. Well, good going. All the best up there. Mark

Hi Mark, ye love natural sounds from bird song to rushing rivers on my videos, that twin arch bridge is a cracker and i bet still could take the weight of a train, loved all the information boards really help understanding what had come and gone over time in the valley, will have to go back to the valley and check higher up there was a footpath sign to a mine and do wonder if there is limestone higher up from the ancient sea, would be nice to live in one of them miners cottages, loved the Autumn colours and the steam train ride, phew it was only a 3 mile walk but plenty of talking points cheers for coming along mate cheers nigel

@@nigelharness9032 Yeah, all that sound makes us vibe a bit. Yeah, that bridge can take it. Re-the ancient sea that's a lot of deposit - the mind boggles. I imagine them miners got time to enjoy the autumn colors. What a valley. A pleasure as always.
