Apparently she was nominated for a Razzie for her role. Very unfair, although opinion on the film has changed quite dramatically since it was released.
The museum sequence is one of the greatest cinematic pleasures

All of his movies are clever Hitch homages. Dario Argento and David Fincher did it a lot too but only De Palma did it so overtly.

The Howling & Blow Out are phenomenal films & soundtracks as well.
The final sequence in the bathroom is (musically, visually, every way) more harrowing than "thrilling." A reminder of how the supposedly cold DePalma's films are actually emotionally devastating.
So precious. One of my favorite (if not my favorite) score EVER. So beautiful and human, it lives beyond the film and can exist on its own. Thank you, Pino Donaggio.

This is such a cinematic movie. Like most of De Palma's work. The steady cam moves, the music, the close ups, the film look. Oh what an experience for movie lovers.
Blow Out, Dressed to Kill, Body Double and Raising Cain - the most fun thrillers for movie lovers since Hitchcock. Modern revival with Femme Fatale & Passion but not as note perfect as the 80s/90s era.

Track 27 (The Nightmare aka The Final Scare) was used in teaser trailer for this movie, I can understand why because it’s genuinely scary.

S Torres my love for Nancy Allen is beyond measure !! I think she is so beautiful and sexy!! She still looks beautiful to this day. I was in love with her, when I was 8 years old. After I saw her in the movie Carrie. At the theater, in 1976 my daddy said that I said to him during the movie, I want to marry the mean girl !! Please get her for me. Lol then in 1980 after seeing dressed to kill, I was even more in love. I was 12 years old and I thought she was even sexier. So I really followed her career. And she is a great actress !!!

Yes he's good, but nowhere near as talented as Ennio Morricone.

Morricone is famous for Western's isn't he.
But Pino Donagio is known for his horror & thriller soundtracks.
Pretty sure Morricone is more prolific than Pino.

Thank you for the upload. This is evidently a very limited release-goes for obscene prices on Discogs-and it’s the most complete version of the soundtrack released to date. I’d say I wish they would do a vinyl release of this version, but it’d likely come out on Waxwork or some other soundtrack reissue label that cares more about the new cheesy “fan artwork” they hire dweebs to design than they do about the sound quality. I think I’m better off with a digital copy of this, and an original (abridged) Varese Sarabande vinyl from 1980.
I wish at the end of “Death In The Elevator” they’d included that dissonant, vibrato synthesizer part, where Liz sees Bobbi in the elevator mirror, that’s one of the best moments in the movie’s soundtrack.
Agree wholeheartedly. Their artwork for Dont Look Now was just insulting to the film and the score.
