LOVE THIS CONTENT!! I currently have a 10 mo old and am 10 weeks pregnant so this is helping me prepare and not be so anxious for going from 1 to 2 babies. I love how authentic you are and showing how you were crying because your 2 yr old wouldn't sleep, I felt that so hard. I always felt I was crazy for being so upset when naps didn't work but knowing I'm not alone makes me feel better. Please keep doing these as long as you enjoy them because they are so helpful! THANK YOU!
Aw, my kids are close in age like that. The baby years are intense, but they’re 3 and 4 now and best pals. It’s so sweet, and I’m so glad I had them so close together. It’s totally worth it ❤
I love this!! The random tangents, the conversations spilling over from way day to the next. Filming while walking, while bouncing the babe, while your legs are up on the wall. This is the most real life momming content I have ever seen and I am so here for it!!!!
Girl, I FEEL you with the frustration when nap time doesn’t happen or go as planned. It’s like such an intense feeling of disappointment I don’t know why! Probably because we try so hard to get it all orchestrated right. Sending love!
I appreciate the chat sesh. I was feeling so many of these things last night, specifically how it is so difficult to get anything done. It felt cathartic to hear my thoughts come out of someone else's mouth.
I really appreciate you showing the reality of being a mom. Having an allotted amount of time to get things done, but having a never ending list of to-do’s, & having to choose what is priority. It is SO HARD! I get upset too if my baby won’t sleep. It feels like “why won’t she go to sleep for me, but she will for my partner?! It’s so simple. Why cant ai do this?!” Also paired with “how the f*ck am I supposed to get everything else done if she doesn’t nap.” I feel ya mama!
OMG I relate so much to getting emotional when your toddler will not nap!! That break is so needed and it's unbelievably frustrating when it doesn't happen
So tell me this, is your pic on the kindred bravely website for the sports bra? Bc it throws me off every time I’m on there, and the thumbnail to this stood out right away 😂. You’re doing great! Thanks for sharing! I have 2 babes about the ages of yours, so it’s been great to follow along w your journey. Def agree the second is WAYYYY easier than the 1st time w breastfeeding!
YES to all of this!!! My first is 13.5 months & we are heavily considering getting pregnant with another. I really needed to hear another mom who had basically the same experiences with her first AND is surviving/thriving with her second! So in short, I HEAR you, I FEEL you, and I THANK you !!! Sending love & sleep vibes from a no-bottles, nurses to sleep, left-side always preferred baby/mama!
A👏MAZ👏ING. Oh sweet Shayla, you are a natural vlogger! I have always loved your sit down videos but after watching this vlog it became so obvious to me that you talked a lot about motherhood being hard and I believed you but I think seeing a bit of it is totally different. You have such a unique voice on here that draws those of us that can’t necessarily relate to the average influencer mom. Love your grit. Love your rants, it’s all so relevant and exactly on topic with what we wonder about ourselves. And I can’t speak for everyone but I always notice when vloggers say “this is filmed over a couple days..” as of that’s a bad thing. I couldn’t care less…. Your content was so seamless and again so relevant. You don’t need to hear all this from me but I wanted to share how refreshing this was for me to see today. Only good vibes Shay!
I got pregnant while my first born was 5.5 months old… wasn’t planned and I was DEFINITELY NOT too excited about how soon we got pregnant again just because it was already a lot with our first one (I was actually very depressed and unhappy during my second pregnancy) and I didn’t have very much help.. it was just me and dad. They are now 2yrs old and 11 months. And let me tell you.. it took me 10 whole months to get used to having 2 babies and not wanting to cry and run away every few seconds. It was SO MUCH in the beginning and no one will ever understand the true struggle unless you have been through it. Although dad was helpful, at the time, I didn’t feel he was helping enough just because I was just so overwhelmed with breastfeeding 2 babies AT THE SAME TIME they never had and never will have formula (all breast milk) and we prefer it that way. So although I was willing to make these sacrifices, it was too much at times. Dad went back to work just 2 weeks later because he wasn’t paid leave at all so on top of healing from birthing a baby and getting stitches and the physical trauma of birthing a child, while beautiful, it was SO EXHAUSTING and draining it makes me a bit emotional just thinking about it because I didn’t feel understood at the time and made to feel like I wasn’t doing enough. So with all that happening I still had to cook for the household and the clean up after babies and do house chores not getting any sleep because I was breastfeeding ALL DAY several times a day TWO BABIES. Wow.. you can just imagine the chaos within and without at the time. But! I’m happy to report that with time, patience and babies gaining more independence it has gotten soo much easier and more fun! And I can actually have self time now and do what I please for the most part, go hiking, paint, take classes I been wanting to take… thanks to the teamwork in the household! ITS VERY IMPORTANT! (I know not all of us have supportive and teamwork-oriented partners and I pray for you who don’t have that, sincerely.) There’s not so much tension anymore between dad and I and we make sure we let each other have plenty self time as well as plenty of time hanging out with the babies… it takes time to get used to having 2 to take care of but once you get into a rhythm, it’s super fun and they help out with stuff around the home already it’s just so worth it and so happy we had them this close together! Wouldn’t change a thing! Don’t worry Mommies, WE UNDERSTAND YOU. You’re allowed to be tired and complain and cry and be Happy and Grateful all at the same time it’s all part of it and don’t let anyone tell you this and that when they don’t even know the half of it! Our emotions are very relevant don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. We do SO MUCH. But! it’s the best role and “career” we will ever have in our lifetimes. Happy Mothering Mamas 😉😌
If I could offer one piece of advice to a new breastfeeding mom, it would be to be consistent and don’t skip pumping if you can’t feed or filled in with formula for whatever reason. Breast milk supply can drop immensely, super quickly. Although you can recover it, sometimes it doesn’t come back even close to what you need. If it gets too low you will reach the point of no return.
About the anxiety with their sleep, I can relate to that, but I read something that really helped me with that. When they are having a hard time sleeping for a nap, you can get them up to play again for another 30 mins, then try the nap again, etc. And, if they have a bad day for naps ; short naps, restless naps, etc.. You should try to put them down for bed earlier to make up for it, and then try your regular schedule the same the next day. They go through so many phases, that there will be good and bad days for sleep, so that is a great way I learned to roll with all of the changes. It has worked great for me so far. I hope this helps for anyone dealing with sleep issues here and there. I definitely innerstand the overwhelming feeling haha.
Yeah, some people wait for hours before then even try. I don’t understand but I had two c-sections. As soon as they stapled me up (first time) or sewed me up (second time), they had me in the recovery room and t breastfeed immediately with both of my girls. It was magical watching a brand new baby using their natural instincts and fulfilling their needs. Just crazy!
We had the laser surgery done for our little one at 9 months she had a grade 3 lip tie. Because she couldn’t latch properly onto a bottle or boob she sucked in air constantly and had painful gas making her the most miserable baby and she was constantly crying. Fast forward two weeks after the surgery she re learned how to latch and has been the most incredible happy baby ever since. Chatting to older parents in our family we learned that if their was a lip tie they sometimes became naturally corrected for example a fall whilst learning to walk etc so I think if it isn’t affecting the child’s way of life (or in our experience the parents sanity) then no need to do anything.
I have a tongue tie and my mom struggled with breast feeding me also but never knew why. Fast forward 30 years, my dentist informed me that I have a grade 3 tongue tie. It affected how my pallet, teeth and jaw were formed. I have really bad neck tension, headaches, postural issues and pain from that, TMJ disorder… all from my tongue tie. It is insane to me how much that little piece of skin can do! I so wish mine would have been cut when I was a baby or toddler. It causes a lot of issues as the facial structure is developing. Can also cause sleep apnea. It never affected my speech much- although I do mumble and don’t always annunciate well, so idk maybe🤷♀️
You can have ties released as an adult too. My husband just had his released, which he never knew he had until our newborn was diagnosed with them. We had our son’s released because of all the symptoms my husband experienced, just like you, Kenzie.
My husband had a complete tongue tie. Front to back, totally stuck in his mouth. He nursed fine, ate fine, talked fine. But! we learned that his extreme reflux and sleep issues were likely caused by his tongue tie. So we got it released by the dentist and now his reflux is better. Not gone, but he doesn't have to take medicine every day anymore, and his sleep is soooo much better! Closing his mouth is easier. So, you may want to watch for those things.
You crack me up😂 sneezing and biting 😭😭 I watched your videos during my first pregnancy, and now I’m pregnant again, so I’m baaack, and your videos are awesome❤️
My daughter has a lip tie too! We haven’t had it corrected either but our lactation consultants said it could effect a lot of things in the future so to keep an eye on it. Our pediatrician said most kids hit their face and it corrects itself somehow so maybe you won’t have to do anything 🤷🏻♀️
Our 3 year old is also tongue tied and we decided not to do anything. It didn't affect her weight gain on breastfeeding, she gained a lot and ate well, even though it was painful for me the first couple weeks.
My daughter also has a lip and tongue tie. We also didn’t cut them. She’s doing well. She’s a chunky baby, and has gained weight appropriately, even a bit above the 50% percentile. My pediatrician thinks she will be okay.
Great video - I appreciate the ramble as a current (first time) mom of a 3 mo rambling seems to be my love language; with breastfeeding being a top topic 🤣 All your videos make me giggle at some point from relating to something you said or experienced and honestly your voice is comforting. So, thanks ☺️
When you zoomed in on the food falling on the floor as you were scooping it I almost spit out my smoothie from laughing. I do that literally every time I cook
Love this vlog style! I can speak to the Apple Watch, I was the same as you and refused* to get it and really didn’t want it because I didn’t want to feel like my phone was with me all the time but I love that I can leave my phone at home while I’m on walks or at the park with the kids or when I go for a run! Definitely recommend. It also helps my husband text me while I’m out with my friends and I don’t want to be rude and look at my phone and he can call or ask for help if it’s needed. So I’m actually glad I got it :)
Breastfeeding never worked for me for a number of reasons and fell into exclusive pumping by accident. I pumped 9 times a day for 5 months and, at 9 months, I’ve just dropped to 3x a day. Pumping has its pros and cons but is a great alternative to breastfeeding if you’re feeling discouraged! Also thanks for your honesty with how difficult it is, it’s so refreshing to see real life on the interwebs rather than the usual glossed BS that we seem to see everywhere.
I love how you said not using bottles is a "privilege??". funny cuz it's true! I hear you that you're thankful you don't have to be separated from your baby, but it's also pretty much what everyone has to do, but it's also not ok that we have to (hello 1 year maternity leave in the rest of the western world).
You totally rocked this vlog!!!!! I loved the laid back format. If you felt good doing I will keep watching! But I’ll watch and thumbs up no matter what ❤️❤️❤️
Love the style of this video! Felt like hanging out with one of my favorite people! I am having some sleep anxiety that is taking the form of either my partner or me being awake while she sleeps to keep an eye on her. I know that eventually, we both have to sleep when she sleeps...but it terrifies us (First-time parents worries and all). Any tips for us are greatly appreciated!
Ugh I know this stress, I think the more you are awake to see how she does the more you’ll trust she’ll do great and feel more comfortable. Sometimes as first time parents you just have to do what makes you feel comfortable ❤️❤️
Loved the format, felt like a coffee date with a friend 💗 also yup on the chiropractor 👏🏻 really helped with my daughter. Crazy to see so much difference in so short a time. But if you can’t afford it you can help train the other side by hanging their mobile off center on the side they don’t like to turn their head to. ❤
I have an oversupply (right seems worse than left) and sometimes my 3 week old can handle it and other times he can't. Most mind boggling thing! But I remember you saying to stick it out for 2 weeks and that's what I kept saying to myself! It wasn't horrible but would be pretty tender at times but your 2 week comment really helped!
Mine had both a lip and tongue tie and at least the lip tie corrected itself in the span of a week when she fell twice. Lots of bleeding and crying, but it healed quickly and is gone now. Only thing is, she knows it’s gone and so she’s much more curious about/focused on that area now.
I love this video. I feel like it really encapsulates motherhood and how I personally have felt. I get so anxious about sleep with my baby too. I relate to you so hard as a mom. I know a lot of moms who just seem to not have any issues or just don’t care? And it’s like how I don’t understand lol. Thanks for the realness
Okay, I know all parenting decisions are super personal - but as a person who was born with a tongue-tie and her parents decided to leave it alone because i wasn't in pain - fast-forward to me as a 21 year old adult getting my wisdom teeth out and the dentist told me my gums were receding because of the tongue-tie and it had to be "fixed" That hurt like hell. Really wish my parents had dealt with that when i was a baby so the healing process would have been 10x faster and i wouldn't remember how painful it was or go through a couple of weeks talking with a lisp until it healed. Just food for thought from someone who has lived this.
I seriously love this content girl! Thank you so much for the vulnerability and keeping it real. I can relate to so much of what you shared!! Keep it going 🙏🏻❤️ sending love
When you find out how to get over the sleep anxiety please share! I'm the same way with naps and bed time routine - messing with the routine and missing naps makes me super anxious... ftm with a 13 week old 🙃
Okay the last few days I’ve decided not to care about anything except their cues and it has gotten rid of soooooo much stress. There’s something called the possum method and it’s literally throwing everything out the windows except their cues. We completely skipped nap one day bc she didn’t seem tired, had an easy bed time. Did nap time the next day and it worked out. It doesn’t always work out but mama is sooooo much happier. Someone also said focus on the sleep over a week instead of a day!
Honestly the only way I was able to escape that anxiety was by having babies long enough that I eventually had to do normal life things that got in the way of nap time and broke up my routines and I learned after each incident that I survived and that my babies were okay. I still definitely stress about naps and bedtime, but I'm much less High Strung about them than I used to be.
@@heyshayla this is so great! My lo only sleeps for 15 mins or not at all at the grandparents house and it used to stress the heck out of me, but my babe would be *perfectly happy* with that little sleep. Love the possum method. I have unknowingly been doing that bc I was tired of fighting my baby's fomo nature 😅 now my babe falls asleep while watching nascar with gpa and is so much happier that way. So I am now seeing this definitely works so much better for us!
You might want to look into how ties can affect people in later life. I think it can cause dental issues as you can't use your tongue to remove food that gets stuck your back teeth for example. Might not be an issue right now but you never know what it could cause later on.
Thanks for this, love these styles of video's! :) My 4 month old also has a lip and tongue tie, and we were in the same situation. So glad to find other parents who think the same - if it ain't broke don't fix it. We had a very good experience with a speech-language pathologist/lactation consultant, and she told us her kid got their tongue revised at 7, and didn't need to be put to sleep!! So if they can sit still, it becomes easy again :) Good luck!
I wanted to share that if your baby is tongue tied there is craniosacral therapy you can do inside the mouth to release the tongue and other soft tissue in the mouth. If you don’t want to cut your baby’s mouth you can look up craniosacral therapists in your area and ask if they can help you with infant tongue ties.
I think it depends on each person. Because I was using de Hakka but I didnt have an oversupply. I was producing enough tho. Also nursing is sooooooo subjective. Everybody has different experiences. We can try and share everything but in the end the new momma has to go with her instinct. 🤷🏾♀️
With my son i breastfed until he was 3. He did not take a pacifier and I never pushed it but at just a few days old, dad would feed with a bottle of my milk for bonding and to get baby adjusted to a bottle. We luckily never had nipple confusion! Plan to do the same around this time. Make sure the nipple is slow flow. I used comotomo, this time I want to go to glass so I’m doing mason bottles with comotomo nipples.
I'm doing the same thing! Mason jelly jars, 4oz and 8oz, with Comotomo slow flow nipples! We started at a couple days old too and never had nipple confusion. I think the shape of the Comotomo nipples helps because they're so similar to a real breast. We don't do bottles regularly, but it's nice to know that we can at any time without issue! Plus, I plan to reuse the bottles for storing leftover tidbits of food when we start baby-led weaning in a few months!
@@emilys3638 how do you like them? I’m 30 weeks pregnant so haven’t got to try it yet. Any tips and tricks? I heard they can leak a bit with the comotomo so I got the plastic rings I saw recommended.
@@Alexis_9339 Oh hey congratulations! Wishing you a smooth and safe birth! I really like them. Personally I had no trouble at all with leaking. I did occasionally notice it would get kind of vacuum-stuck (not sure what the proper term is for this) and I would have to break the seal so he could drink again.. But usually it flowed smoothly from start to finish. Also be sure to keep the bottle fairly upright so you keep the milk in the nipple and don't get bubbles flowing through... It's not a perfect system, but nothing is, and I was very happy with it. Certainly the least expensive way to get a nice set of glass bottles that are easy to wash and multi-use! Another bonus is that if you're pumping and storing milk, you don't have to worry about them falling over since they stand upright, unlike the flimsy bags. And since they're mason jars, they can easily handle extreme temps, so you can freeze the milk right in the jars to thaw later, and you can also put them through the dishwasher. I hand-wash the nipples and metal rings but I do put the jars in the dishwasher.
My son has a lip tie and always nursed well so we did nothing. We just took him to first dentist appt (he is 2) and our dentist said most kids will fall and actually tear their tie on their own. Some grow out of it, and some need surgery. She basically said most kids accidentally fall and rip it before surgery would be recommended anyway. I am hoping this is true!
I am pretty much obsessed with anything talking about breast-feeding right now. I’m so excited to breast-feed of 35 weeks pregnant right now. And my boobs have been leaking since 29 weeks. I wanna know all the information! Your podcast actually encouraged me to reach out to a lactation consultant I’m so excited to have that conversation with her tomorrow! Do you have any recommendations for questions I should ask her? I also used your questions for the physician little PDF that she has and it was so helpful thanks so much for creating that!
Yay!!!! Look for the other episodes with Natalie, she’s amazing and does a free breastfeeding group on Instagram!! Look her up @standing_so_tall if you can’t find the group send me a dm on Instagram or email me contact@heyshayla.com
Currently breastfeeding my 3 month old. She has a tongue tie and breastfeeding was extremely difficult for the first 2 months. It was painful, I had low supply and she had reflux really bad. We started going to a chiropractor for her reflux and it's helping. I started talking brewers yeast in the mornings and it helped my supply. So it's finally not painful to breastfeed and she's finally getting some chunk to her🙂
Oh, I feel the skipped nap pain you're feeling... For me .. that's the only hour or 2 I have to myself all day between 6:30am to almost 11pm... But, we do get through it and tomorrow is a new day 😉...
I have an over supply and hate how wet my nursing bra gets during feeding sessions. What bra lifts from the bottom!? That sounds like a much better design!
Girl I feel you bamboobies has overnight pads that I wear all day. I bought a couple packs they’re expensive but amazing. Literally any low support sports bra!!
9:45 tip on having your haakaa getting knocked off: wear a pumping bra and put the haakaa through the hole as if you’re pumping. Also, get the smaller 4 oz haakaa so that the baby is comfy :)
Loved this video so much! I have a 3 month old and related to everything you were talking about; the breast feeding, anxiety about naps, even the phone thing. How did you get your babe to like tummy time? Mine hates it but will hold her head up on her own when I sit her up.
Are you cosleeping with Esme? If so did you start right away? I didn’t cave with my first born until 4 weeks after I became an absolute zombie. Well night 2 home with my newborn we coslept after it got to midnight and I had yet to get any sleep. It was magical and we both slept great but him being so young makes me a little nervous.
As long as you’re not drinking or taking sleeping pills and you’re breastfeeding (and no blankets) you should be good. Watch my video “how I got extra hrs of sleep” video. Tells you how to do it safely.
Haha! I'm also conservative but I've had so many latching and pumping issues that half the state has seen my nips. My daughter had the worst degree lip tie you can have. She'll have a gap between her baby teeth but shouldn't for adult teeth. Lactation consultant wanted us to try other things before getting it released. Got it released at 6 weeks. Was exclusively pumping every two hours to increase my supply. LATER found out my nipples are so elastic that every pumping product meant for elastic nipples don't even work for me and pumping hurts more than latching. I was about to switch to formula but refuse to give up so I started latching her and it's going kind of better. Nips are still ridged when they come out and it's still pinchy but I'm hoping she learns and grows out of it.
I got my babies tongue tie done at the dentist with a laser. More precise and cauterises at the same time. My tongue tie was never dealt with and I rip it still as an adult. My mom never had hers dealt with and needed INTENSIVE speach therapy and got bullied a lot. My boyfriend's cousin got hers done at 18 this year after not being able to lick an ice cream cone her whole life (she sent us all a picture as soon as she did)
My son (now 11 months) had a lip and tongue tie. We did laser revision of both ties, four months of chiropractor, and cranial sacral therapy and honestly none of it seemed to help. He finally seemed to “grow out it” when it came to breastfeeding struggles but he’s always had trouble gaining weight. It makes it hard to know what to do with my second if they have ties. It tough cuz you want to help them so desperately but yeah I don’t know if all the stuff did work and it just took time or what 🤷🏻♀️
Oh I wish we could just sit and talk ! I'm listening to you and in like, yeah this happened to me or this other thing haha. Love your videos, so relatable :D
OH MY I "sleep trained" aka just crib trained but still woke to nurse sort of thing, then she got sick, we brought her back in bed.....it was all over for a year...til like now. Hospitalized for sleep deprivation lmfao. So yeah don't stop
Would you say that the ladybug haakaa pump is worth it? I've seen mixed reviews but had the same problem as you with my first born so don't want to use the normal haakaa again😅
I liked it! It didn’t a good job of collecting but didn’t feel like it was pulling too much. I don’t use it anymore but did in the begging and would maybe get an oz each time
What do you suggest about a slacker boob. I have one boob smaller than the other and I know that we have that naturally but this is definitely wayyy more noticeable lol. What do you suggest?
Me too!!! Just roll with it 🤷♀️ feed more on the slacker to see if you can up production. If not feed the big one before you go out 😂😂 and when all else fails just laugh. This is a wild journey
Did you say Aaliyah is sick? And she’s at daycare? If babies absolutely refuses one side and chiro help isn’t working people can consider to stop Lactating on that side. Any ibclc can teach you how. My sister fed her child with one breast for four years.
Hey, Shay, I'm from Minneapolis and have a 2-day old who looks like he has a tongue tie. What's your dentist rec? I'm not on Instagram so I can't dm you.
laughed so hard about the "wild things" your hormones do when you wean! i thought i needed antidepressants and couples therapy too (still do think sometimes 🫢)..!!

Thank you!
Thank you!
You crack me up😂 sneezing and biting 😭😭 I watched your videos during my first pregnancy, and now I’m pregnant again, so I’m baaack, and your videos are awesome❤️
Lipstick nipple and pain can indicate an oral tie. Have an IBCLC assess and refer out to a pediatric oral surgeon for revision if necessary
Good to know!!!0
My daughter has a lip tie too! We haven’t had it corrected either but our lactation consultants said it could effect a lot of things in the future so to keep an eye on it.
Our pediatrician said most kids hit their face and it corrects itself somehow so maybe you won’t have to do anything 🤷🏻♀️
Haha what?! How bizarre!!
Dude, A for effort on this one. You sound just like me when I'm trying to tell a new mom friend about breastfeeding. Thanks for being relatable!
You're so right about the rambling! I can't seem to make myself stop 😅
I agree with the pros and cons of pumping and good on you for doing it for so long!
I'm so happy for you! You are killing it, keep it up. Love the Vlog style video.
Love how you say "WE"!
Loving these vlogy-chatty videos!! Keep them coming. Your energy is unmatchable haha ✨
Ahh!!! Soo good to hear!
Okay, I know all parenting decisions are super personal - but as a person who was born with a tongue-tie and her parents decided to leave it alone because i wasn't in pain - fast-forward to me as a 21 year old adult getting my wisdom teeth out and the dentist told me my gums were receding because of the tongue-tie and it had to be "fixed"
That hurt like hell. Really wish my parents had dealt with that when i was a baby so the healing process would have been 10x faster and i wouldn't remember how painful it was or go through a couple of weeks talking with a lisp until it healed.
Just food for thought from someone who has lived this.
Thank you for this!
I don’t know why I laughed so hard at it “firehosing into her mouth” 😂 as a breasfeeding mom, ifykyk
I tell you the 2nd time is so different. I have a 4 month old and a 3 year old. Thanks for always sharing your perspective with us!
Ppl told me but I didn’t believe it! But it could have gone either way!
Thank you!!
I loved this vlog style!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think it depends on each person. Because I was using de Hakka but I didnt have an oversupply. I was producing enough tho.
Also nursing is sooooooo subjective. Everybody has different experiences. We can try and share everything but in the end the new momma has to go with her instinct. 🤷🏾♀️
Tooootally!
I had a lip tie and they didnt clip it till I was like 9 years old and I think it is easier when kids are older.
Love this video!!! I soooooo feel you with not wanting to be on my phone so much around the littles!
To nurse in the carrier is easy, you just have to lower it so the head can reach the breast. I did it with my two sons from 3 monts of age.
Thank you!!
I'm using the Haakaa but still have an undersupply. But I do feed my babe what I've collected in the Haakaa.
More vlogs please I really enjoyed you being real and raw with us because being a mom is not easy
Doing them for the next few months to see how it goes!
I cannot WAIT for more vlogs!!! Yay!!
Enjoyed the chatting video so much! I feel like you’re reading my thoughts 😂
LOL I love that you scraped the dropped food back into the bowl 😂
“It’s fine, straight off the counter top.”
So it's finally not painful to breastfeed and she's finally getting some chunk to her🙂
Yay!!!! Glad you found those solutions!!
@@heyshayla Me too! Those first 2 months were crazy!
Oh my gosh! I’m on my 4th and sleep still causes me so so much anxiety!
Yes day one with both
Be prepared that you aren’t prepared. - Motherhood. 😂
🙌🙌🙌 cheering for you!!!
It tough cuz you want to help them so desperately but yeah I don’t know if all the stuff did work and it just took time or what 🤷🏻♀️
It’s sooo hard to know. But if it gives you peace knowing you did everything you could to help then I say 👏👏👏
Oh and my daughter had a lip tie, and I had oversupply and made the same decision for the same reason. so relatable jeez
Currently breastfeeding my 13 week old as I watch this ☺️
Me too!
Been loving your content as a FTM-to-be, it’s been super educational and helpful!!
I also had soooo much anxiety around sleep it was crazy.
Right?! Whyyyyyy
Hey! Send me an email! Contact@heyshayla.com
I’ve also heard that there’s cranial sacral therapy (or something like that lol) for tongue ties. Another option to just cutting.
Love this vlog style content!
So good to hear!!
Which carrier do you have?
Hey Shayla
Hey Shayla
I love the Vlog! I also am a pretty modest person, but now I'm breastfeeding I'll flop my boobs out whenever lol
Hahahaha “flop” feels like the right word 😂😂🙌
🥰🥰🥰🥰
pro editing! catc hyou later~Hey.=))
laughed so hard about the "wild things" your hormones do when you wean! i thought i needed antidepressants and couples therapy too (still do think sometimes 🫢)..!!
