Kaiba done messed up when he attacked a facedown card with his XYZ cannon, late Kaiba would have every Yugi's tactic memorized well and would know to attack Queen's Knight because of Yugi's Knight trifecta combo. Great duel, not sure how it would ever be possible without Revived Sky God.
My logic behind that play was that this is a recreation of their battle city duel which as far as I'm aware is the first time Yugi use's his 3 knights, so Kaiba may not have known why having Queen's Knight on the field is beneficial for Yugi. He also makes this play in the anime. Revived Sky God is a life saver for these duels. Both players draw 6 cards? Yes please.
This was a fun reimagine of the Battle City iconic duel. Looking at TGSAnime's review of this duel made me realize how many misplays it had. Still exciting and iconic though. I personally wished Arcana Knight Joker was used in this duel.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for arguably the best duel in the entire Yugioh franchise. In fact I would argue that this duel is actually an improvement over the actual duel itself. Amazing
Not to hurt any feelings, but I'd disagree. Do love the longer Duel but prefer the anime/manga effect of certain cards like the God Cards and Card of Sanctity or Card of Demise over those fake irl versions.
@@cadeshanley218 No problem! I completely agree on certain anime cards having their effects reduced really rubs me the wrong way. Card of Sanctity and ESPECIALLY Guardian Eatos, I would kill to have their anime rather than their real life effects. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😇😇😇
@@michaelkarimian7538 And especially the back and fourth between Obelisk and Slifer in the anime/manga. Refusing to back down like their masters, their double K.O. as a sign that their true ace Monsters need to finish their eternal rivalry duel.
Like the other comment said... The real life Slifers effect only works if a Monster is summoned in Attack Position. You might wonder why Obelisk was not weakend by Slifer though. He has an effect that prevents players from activating Cards when he is summoned (every God Card has this effect).
