I am from surat and here police verification is very smooth as said by government officials ,applicant with 1 known person not 2 ,apart from relative needed to visit police stations with their identification card with photo copy , sign there and leave and best part is now there is no involvement of any other favour like money or anything else like it was prevalent before few years.. in Gujarat all police station have particularly given room for passport applications with CCTV in every corner and my surat experience is just butter 🧈smooth ,finished verification in less than 10 minutes, and after verification I received passport in 3 days and overall it just took 7 flat days .... and another experience is of my father’s passport it just took 2 days for him to receive passport after submitting applications the main reason was it was post verification of police officers.. so went for verification after receiving renewal passport which was applied in normal category.. both applications were done in Surat,Gujarat...

1 bhai I m carrying a passport which was expired on 2016 . if I apply for reissue of passport can I deposited the same one to passport seva kendra or elsewhere.

Sir... Mera naam farizuddin seikh he... Me wb police me hu.. Mera surname elaka me" seikh " ko jadatar sarkari officer "sk" likh deta hai... Is tarah mera naam " farizuddin sk" ho gaya... Mera all certificate me mera naam " farizuddin sk" he ...mera aap se sawaal hai..
1. Kya surname "sk" se passport ho sakta hai?
2. Aagar passport me is surname k sath bana liya to kya bidesh me problem ho sakta hain?
3. Mera birth registration certificate nehi hain... Baki sab certificate hai... And ,," sk," surname likha hain? Kya birth certificate manditary hai?
