Feel free to leave any feedback (trying some new stuff on the maps) or any video ideas. It has been a very long time since I've uploaded, but I plan to upload more regularly, aiming for every 2-3 weeks initially and seeing if I can build it up further from that. Also I made a little mistake at 5:40, but it's just meant to show the map of Ottoman Armenia I had shown beforehand.

I'd say an intresting concept could be what if turkish re-unification failed after ww1.

The entire video I felt as if this was very well made, good maps, editing, audio and concept. If I had to give a tip maybe you should use more maps? (You did this really well though) I think the main focus driving forwards would be showing long term effects on other thing such as wars. Also make SURE to keep the concept of the video lesser known and interesting like this one, (maybe what if Austria united Germany? Or what if Italy united earlier? Or maybe what if Rome fell during the crisis of the third century, Anyhow extremely well done and I’m sure you will one day reach 100k+ subscribers! :D

@@gideonwlind I appreciate the feedback and support Gideon. I think you're right about the more maps thing, I'm thinking of perhaps increasing the screen time of the maps already there as well. I see what you mean by the long term effects of other factors, would require more research but tbh I like googling history and it would make for a more enjoyable product. I think I did that better in my previous videos, whereas this video was more focused on certain factors. I like the idea of continuing to do lesser known and interesting topics, but I do think I will have to do some more popular scenarios here and there (for the algorithm and also to scratch the itch of those scenarios).

important note. in 1451, skanderbeg signed the treaty of Geata, which incorporated Albania into the kingdom of Naples. if albania were independent from the ottomans, it would most likely remain as a part of Naples, Italy, or even Spain, rather than the Habsburgs.

2nd Bulgarian empire fell after battle of Velbuzd, after that it was vassal of Serbian empire till Serbian collapsed. Because all of army and much of economy was in Serbian principalities (Moravia, Zeta, Bosnia, KosMet, Prilep, Dejanović and etc.) Bulgaria fell under Ottoman occupation.
Bulgarians asked Serbia for help. Serbian strongest family in that time after Nemanjić fell was Mrnjavčević that send army to Bulgaria to expel Ottoman troops and to conquer Costantinople. But they were betrayed by others serbian families because they wanted power. If Mrnjavčević succeded they would make second Serbian empire. After fell it was literally game of thrones.
Summary is that Second Bulgarian empire was strong in one period but it was demolished by Eastern Roman Empire and destroyed by Serbia in the end. Economically it wasn't possible for siege. First Bulgarian empire was much stronger.

I don't think that we would see the rise of Austria like in our timeline. The Jagellionian kings dying at Varna and Mohacs really broke their power, but in this timeline they are the heroes of Europe, they can easily check Habsburg expansion and this would cause a butterfly effect that would change our history dramatically.

I think to push out the Ottomans for good you would have needed to win the battles of Kosovo polje, Nicapolis and Varna. Otherwise the Ottomans would have kept pushing back.
Also note that without the 150 years of Turkish devastation and genocide in Central Hungary and Transylvania, these regions would not experience a significant loss of the native population and it wouldn’t have to be repopulated with Germans, Vlachs (Romanians), Slovaks and Serbs. The entire demographic and ethnic situation of Hungary might be completely different.

Varna was decisive but did you know that the Siege of Constantinople almost failed? If it did, all the old beyliks(mainly Candaroglu) would revolt and overthrow Mehmed II. And Candarli Halil would make peace with the Byzantines as he always wanted and might even be allies with them against Mehmed. Who knows what a civil war at that point would lead to.

@@HistorysInfluence TBH i have a even bigger idea. What if Charlamagne never existed to begin with? Having Saxons as Southern Vikings, Al-Andalus likely surviving a little longer maybe, Lombards if can pull themselves together remaining United meaning Rennaisance likely never happening, Avars accepting Catholicism and Challenge Byzantines over Balkans, becoming a Turkic Hungary.
You also might have Reconquista failing when Muslims conquers Asturias (somehow) succesfully.
Fatimid Caliphate surviving under better leadership, Surviving Mongols and Remaining Strong enough to resist Ottomans and Safavids, Creating a Sunni, a Shia and a İsmaili superpower in the middle east in a 1984 style struggle between Oceania, Eurasia and East Asia. Of course this scenerio it is far less likely but still im looking forward for your content

    John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
