I bought one, but it's impossible to make slack or take the rope when adjusting. I tried 9.6 mm dynamic and 10.0 static rope to try - did not work. What side should i use, according the manual my ropes should work

I know it's kinda weirdo to point to someone else's video to set up Kong equipment from this channel, which I believe belongs to Kong (maker of the device).

I use it as dynamic distance set on stand, so I have it exactly for the purpose of minimal slippage and ability to keep set distance while resting. But hay. maybe I'm using it all time wrong.

I use it as a tether adjuster. The Slyde on my left side is extended with a 12 inch line.

SLYDE is an ingenious adjuster for ropes that reduces impact forces. Because it is not possible to test all configurations and uses, this device is not a PPE and it has not been tested according to EN958. For these reasons it doesn't require a user manual or a tutorial video for uses. Users can self-make its own system that can be created choosing the most appropriate way for the situation on-point.
