Just love your winter set up Lau really do , when I had an easy pod I used to push the nozzle of the jet wash through the media and spray around found that prevented any sludge build up , bout once a month, Nice one as always
And here is my problem with being pump fed with a raised pond. The eazypod is high and I can't access the centre column with the jetwash due to the head height restriction with the roof. This is what gets trapped between the rigid pipe and the centre cage. But good thinking, going to try to at least but the hose in and then give it a second boil. Thanks Martin.
Pond and fish are looking great as always and the mind-your-own-business is spectacular. I know you have prepared the pond for winter but it still looks so summery. I would gladly swap our Canadian winter weather and the ice and snow that goes with it 🥶 🥶 🥶 for that of the UK. 🌞👍🏻

All's well here thank you. Bloomin cold here today, but to be expected I suppose 😆😆I've had problems with mine flashing, but it seems to have calmed down lately. Did scrapes and found nothing. Water quality is good, so I don't know why! I've done nothing but clean leaves up for the past 2 weeks, so not much to make a video of. Take care, Terry

Hi Tom, they are great, definitely. Mine is only the 6000 but now wish I had the one above so I could run the shower and protein skimmer on the pressure filter.

@@LauMagroTheFrenchKOInection I actually don't know. I bought it used with the k1 already in there.. as I was new to it I 😅🤣 overflowed it several times and drained so much of into the garden... I got a bucket of k1 from a friend I got the pod from and added it after cleaning and disinfecting it..

Hi, only to top up the pond but going to try something different with a settling chambre first, leave the water in with the Pond Detox for 2 days and top up as required.

@@hippo5346 what a pain, I assume you have done all the test for chlorine? Have you checked with your water company that you haven't got chloramine or fluoride? May be try to Pond detox Formula or Restore from spring Bank Koi? It has really helped my water in only 3 weeks.
Love the way you winter-protect your pond, keeps them viewable all year round. I must admit that you and A&C changed my mind about pressure filters, having got my new one as a pre-filter it just worked perfectly, not feeding much but atm but even so the Tempest is hardly ahving to do anything, and can just get on with catching the really fine stuff. I think my negativity towards them may have been due to a on-off problem or just user error on my part as it was in the early days of my pond keeping. Btw, is that a B&Q £1 orange bucket? Not sure anyoen can say they're a pondkeeper unless they have at least one of them ;)
Thank you Andy. I find it so practical to be able to enclose the pond and have an all year round pond even being unheated. If anything, I know that when I rebuild the pond in a couple of year, I will keep the same system. Having a roof was crucial for me due to seagulls and herons everywhere, so enclosing it this way in winter is really great. And allows so much ventilation, which avoids in a lot of case costia in spring. Pressure filters are so rated as a death cans, and they are except the Oase. I am so impressed. They still need to be checked but wow. If I had the money, I would actually put another one before the multibay but I am reluctant to put any more money when I know the whole lot will change when I rebuild. And yes, the orange buckets from B&Q are a must 😁

Hi Mickey, thank you for watching. No I am not heated. But if I was, I only only use it in spring summer and autumn for the growth and stabilise the temperatures and avoid fluctuations. And also start the feeding season earlier. The green hanging plants on the left are fake, it was to hide the pipe going to the shower 😊

Hi Andrew, I have only just started to use it really, a couple of weeks ago. But once a week. I clean my filters separately throughout the week so I don't do a massive water change in one go. First week of using it, I put the normal dose directly in the pond and dosed for the entire pond. Now I only dose for the water I change. But once a week.
Hi, you have to be ruthless. I will miss seeing the aka matsuba growing especially with the body she was developing. But with the problems of my water and the 2 fish coming from Japan, had to make a tough choice. I only sold the 3 for £30 in total so definitely lost a lot of money but they went to a good home to one of my subscriber. eBay, or telegram classified or through your channel.
