- I wanted to share something I enjoy doing from time to time and that is smoking a pipe! I've owned a pipe for over 20 years, but only recently got back into it. Join me as I tell you about my various pipe purchases.

I had the out of body experience type of smoke once. I use to have a video about it but it's no longer up. Nothing special about what I was smoking. A cob and a codger blend. I was sitting by a creek but I did that all the time. It was pretty awesome. May you have many more in the new year

Great list! Have tried some of those but not all. My surprise tobacco this year was C&D Sunday Picnic. Added a tin to my cart at some point in the past and pulled it out of the cellar with a couple of years of age on it. Delicious! Happy New Year!

Always interesting to see what others liked over the year. I, too, was surprised by 965 when I first smoked it. I didn’t expect to enjoy a slightly sweet English and wound up loving it.
Well like I said in the video, it’s been an enjoyable smoke, but that one was something special.

It’s wonderful process finding what blends you enjoy. You sir, had a nirvana smoke. Those are few and far between but amazing when they happen. I would suggest you try father Dempsey. It was a blend made to knock 965 out of the water. And in my humble opinion it does! Happy new year Joe!!!!
It was something special... I do have and had Kramer's Father Dempsey. I've had pleasant experiences with it, but nothing like I had with My Mixture 965. Maybe I haven't found the right pipe for it yet. Thank you and Happy New Year to you and your family as well Pat!
The Petersons are great blends, I smoke them all, knowing that it's the original recepture they used as the Dunhill blends many years ago, the only change they make is the Latakia, in the early days they used the Syrian Latakia, now it comes from Cyprus. Anyway, if you like nightcap, you are definitely gonna like the Petersons early morning also. Keep puffing. Greets from Belgium.
Thank you for the info on the blend changes. I was wondering what if any changes were made when Peterson took over the Dunhill blends. And you are correct! Early Morning Pipe is one of my favorites!
@@joeandtell About the Latakia, it's a problem for every blender, after the war in Syria they didn't produce the Latakia anymore from there. I remember that many years ago I smoked the Original Dunhill Nightcap, the taste and room notes were much stronger than we have now, but it still is a great tobacco. I love to smoke Cornell & Diehl, GL Pease, they have so many wonderful blends but we are not allowed to order them in Belgium. We can buy some of them in Germany, but only a few. The old Dunhill lineup wasn’t very large maybe 15 blends, but all of them were outstanding. I like early morning pipe the best, but you can’t go wrong with any of them. I still need to pick up Royal yacht the last blend that you recommended to me was Red Odessa and that’s a home run.
