Starting my practice in the 70's, I can see that technical movements are improved, for example we only said topspin for forehand, but lift for backhand. I can see your legs positions, it involves more faster reactions between fore and back. Overall, very sharp explanations by a nice and lovely girl. :-)
Thx you‘re explaining things as good as the stewardesses 👍 very easy to understand 😘 you shall come to Germany. We need a good trainer here like you. ❤
Thank you so much yangyang for your videos! I now understand the difference between backhand drive and backhand topsin!! So very thankful to your detailed explanations. I've taken coaching lessons in the past and have been told that I don't know how to do a basic forehand or backhand drive; I just spin the ball all the time. Yet, I didn't get any useful information on how to do this basic stroke. You are the first one that have explained it simply and now I know the difference!! Awesome :)
I really like your style of play. Looks very swift. I find your videos very useful. At 00:17, can you please make a video on 'how to do that soft push'?
Very nice instruction. I really appreciate the slow motion demonstrations since your technique is excellent to watch and try to emulate. It does appear that you rotate your blade in your fingers a touch to get the proper angle in the demonstrations. Great demonstrations. Thanks!
Could you please explain the contradiction in the video? At 1:49 you are saying that the RIGHT leg should be ahead of the left leg to add power. However at 3:15 you say that the LEFT leg should be ahead of the right, so opposite of what you were saying in the beginning of the video :( So which leg should be ahead?
Every shot instruction, in my humble opinion, must involve: 1. Leg movements/positioning/weight transfer 2. Hand and wrist movements 3. Ball timing: when the ball hit the bat during its trajectory 4. Recovery. Yangyang covered everything except for ball timing. The best timing for top spin shot is when the ball reaches the top of the trajectory or a little bit later. This is specially true when one learns and practices the shot. As one progresses, timing can vary.
Yangyang, good video, good lesson, cute appearance, i miss some poin, but after hearing your lesson, i made some improvement. I like your way, thats basic technic is very good. hoping someday we will meet each other.
Very informative video. Thank you for sharing. One question, where do you contact the ball? I was told you contact the ball from the side and not from the back.
Hi, nice explanation of this style. I like the errors section. However question: how do you change your movement, when playing versus underspin ? Thanks
I am the large stroke and too tight arm person, but my greatest problem to overcome is being much faster then the ball impacts by a full stroke of an advanced player when i am standing close to the table in perfect control and placement with own added power to the ball and speed.
Thanks todays training was better, I did practice Forehand and Backhand Top Spin and ForeHand & Backhand Block - i did a bit improve I think it - also when my placement is still a bit luck sometimes and not control by Blocks.
Ur demonstration and ur explanation differ a lot. Seems to me that u explain kinda the old technique but use the modern one where the stroke is more in front of the body and less to the side and overall shorter
I began playing Table Tennis in Dec. '12. I am very new to the sport, however, take it very seriously and want to learn the proper way to play and have an insatiable desire to be a great player. I currently use 2 different Stiga bats/paddles. I've always used the red side for service or forehand delivery. I see you use hold it just the opposite as I do. What is the difference, please? I am going to switch my method, but would love to know why I should use red for backhand, please? Thank you for any information that you are willing to provide.
both are the same......its just what you like to use for forehand....black or red doesn't matter.....but you need to have 1 red rubber and 1 black rubber
when you explain how the storke is performed you aim the racket in preparation next to your hip, but in demontration it is more in hre center of your belly.
Thanks. I currently can not play :( i busted my rotator cuff while doing multiball training. I will start playing with my left hand and i need to start from scratch. It will be a whole n ew experience for me :p
i love your videos and though i know the basics well i still like to watch since i rarely play now. bad hip, back issues and shoulder too. grrr you're much prettier than your cousin, i'd choose you as my keeper for sure.
Yang Yang, there are hundreds of thousands of Penhold Players all over the World. if you can create new videos showing PENHOLD techniques, you will definitely have a lot more subscribers!
Reading all these comments I would like to recall, since it seems necessary, that she's not a piece of meat. -.-' I hate the fact that in every video where there's a woman doing a demonstration half of the comments have to dwell upon her appearance. We're really at this point in a society where sexism is raging at the expense of the woman. Just think, how many comments about the look would be if there was a man doing the demonstration with short clothes...
You are, of course, cuter than your cousin, ha.ha.. and it is clear and easy to understand your teaching points and to catch. I will subscribe your videos and keep practicing based on your points. Thanks and keep up with the good work.
Hi Yang Yang, you are more beautiful externally and she is more beautifully internally. So you two 's beauty complementary to each other. Without her, you are empty. Without you, she is not shinning. The conclusion is that you two must go together all the time to be perfect. If you date any boy, bring her with you. If she dates any boy, bring you with her. So the best game all four of you to play is Ma Chong.
Common mistakes was great addition
it was kinda funny
Thank you!! Ure helping me to improve my TT skills... best channel for me! Keep it up!
I hope that I could find this video 10 years ago. These videos are clear and well instructed. Keep up good works, Miss Yang Yang.
It's never too late to learn!
nice practical understandable lesson.... very helpful for me... great...
^_^

This is the actually the stroke I want to work on next so I'll be using your tips.
Great lesson, thanks.
Nice ~Sure
i find that one of the best backhand player Zhang jike raises his elbow, his backhand topspin was so great
You are good instructor, I wish background music and noise could be toned down. Thank you for your video lessons.
LOL, some great acting as well as TT skills! Thanks for some very useful videos.
Excellent explanation of a simple-looking movement that is so easy, in many ways, to get wrong. Thank you.
You are welcome :)

Very informative..nice one yangyang
Yangyang....your Lesson very good for understanding....
Really clear and thorough. Thank you Yangyang.

True

hey that is a great tutorial. thank you! very helpful!
In spin we trust... and in you too. Thanks for interesting video
5:55 HAAHAHAHHA I LOST IT HERE 🤣🤣😭😭
very nice concise explanation and the demo as usual. I find yours much easier to grab the idea than other popular chinese web site.......keep it up!
btw, im cpen but the explanation is relevant too e.g where the force come from...
from your body, arm and wrist~~
thanks for your lessons. 감사합니다. from Seoul, Korea. Have a nice day ^^
Hi very good video, can you explain the backhand drive far from the table please
Good break down steps .
Nice video... this way is very easy to learn
Thanks :)
Thanks for making this video. Nice breakdown of the stroke. Make more videos
And nice Look......
Very informative video. Thank you for sharing. One question, where do you contact the ball? I was told you contact the ball from the side and not from the back.
if you could improve on the sound that would be appreciated. Nice video.

I love your work
03:55 Demonstration

Btw you look a bit like Lily Zhang
Very good, I liked very much, thanks.
very good explanation subscribed right away, thanks

these are good videos to learn TT thank you so much yangyang if you can put subtitles I will be appreciate it
I am the large stroke and too tight arm person, but my greatest problem to overcome is being much faster then the ball impacts by a full stroke of an advanced player when i am standing close to the table in perfect control and placement with own added power to the ball and speed.
Good luck~~

Hi yangyang. Your lessons are great. Thank you.
One question, do you use on your forehand a chinese tacky rubber?
can you write your equipment?
butterfly tenergy 05 on both sides
Nice, and which blade?
can you recomand some cheap chinese rubbers (non-tacky), alternative to Tennergy ?
thx
Cebotari Alex get H3 or H8. They should do the job well besides Tenergy rubbers
oh no no, i have an european technique, H3 and other tacky rubbers are useless for me
Ur demonstration and ur explanation differ a lot. Seems to me that u explain kinda the old technique but use the modern one where the stroke is more in front of the body and less to the side and overall shorter
Where r u? Can I find you for private lesson?
Just curious which type of weight transfer is better for backhand ? From left leg to right leg or up and down? Thanks & Keep it up!
It's up to different player's style. You can try both on.
yangyang jia which one suitable for fast return if change between backhand drive and backhand loop? Thanks for ur replied :)

@yangyangTT I don't see any difference between the stroke in your backhand topspin video and this video. Where is the difference?
For both the strokes, drive and loop, does the contact point always stay above elbow??
when you explain how the storke is performed you aim the racket in preparation next to your hip, but in demontration it is more in hre center of your belly.
Great video!!! Would the reverse penhold backhand have a similar motion?
Yes, similar~ but penholder is a little harder, good luck! :)
Thanks. I currently can not play :( i busted my rotator cuff while doing multiball training. I will start playing with my left hand and i need to start from scratch. It will be a whole n
ew experience for me :p
I am sorry to hear that~ hope you will be better
Take care~
Could you show me the best way to hold racket? I’m little bit confused
The video is great! You are very cute! I like your outfit too👍
Yeah~~
i wish only panty inside the skirt. lol
Please tell me how did you make your intro
Thanks I love it
Good tips
Thank you very much!!!
wow!a nice cute move
yangyang: what racket/rubber do you use? can you provide the name of your racket? is it custom made?
She uses ALC with 05 on both sides
Nguyen what is ACL?
Arylate Carbon
Thanks for explanation
Hey Yangyang, do you boost your rubbers by any chance? Also, what are your thoughts on boosting?
i love your videos and though i know the basics well i still like to watch since i rarely play now. bad hip, back issues and shoulder too. grrr
you're much prettier than your cousin, i'd choose you as my keeper for sure.
Yangyang makes the tutorial videos in China or the US ?
US
How is back hand top spin different from back hand loop?
I really love the demo for the common mistakes though. Lol
Thanks ^-^
very good
Where are you? I want to send my daughter for 2 years training.
haha. I am in LA, USA
Yang Yang, there are hundreds of thousands of Penhold Players all over the World. if you can create new videos showing PENHOLD techniques, you will definitely have a lot more subscribers!
Is reverse penhold backhand similar? Thanks. Also BTW are you in US?
both question are "yes"
From the LYTTC - Lily Yip Training Center ?

Pablitorrinco approved this video ;)
I came for a backhand and left with a crush
Tyler Russi
Awesome
well done
Is there a maximum age to play ping pong ...do you know who is the oldest active player in the World ?
u r cute. nice video. learned backspin topspin.
yes she's pretty but you are much more, you bring a stunning particular beauty and cleverness together, bye amazing girl
Nice
5:50 Hahaha, that was funny :D
i like this demonstrasion...cute
You are very beautiful !!! Even when you do common mistakes ;)
hi yangyang
LOL Sima needs to make more videos. 🏓 ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
HS CH sure!
Like thisss

Greetings from Berlin
jannis
Haha, I will let her know that.
I hope she will not give up. Please provide the info to her ;-)
Kita penggemar olah raga tenis meja, mau minta kirimkan tangkai/beds tenis meja.
Lets bet...
Hm... hm.. very cute

And my dad..... He doesn't play TT 😂
very poor spin on a ball and no twisting body with weight transfer on demonstration
You are very beautiful ! Thanhs you
