    Starting my practice in the 70's, I can see that technical movements are improved, for example we only said topspin for forehand, but lift for backhand. I can see your legs positions, it involves more faster reactions between fore and back. Overall, very sharp explanations by a nice and lovely girl. :-)

    Thank you so much yangyang for your videos!
    I now understand the difference between backhand drive and backhand topsin!! So very thankful to your detailed explanations. I've taken coaching lessons in the past and have been told that I don't know how to do a basic forehand or backhand drive; I just spin the ball all the time. Yet, I didn't get any useful information on how to do this basic stroke. You are the first one that have explained it simply and now I know the difference!!
    Awesome :)

    Very nice instruction. I really appreciate the slow motion demonstrations since your technique is excellent to watch and try to emulate. It does appear that you rotate your blade in your fingers a touch to get the proper angle in the demonstrations. Great demonstrations. Thanks!

    Could you please explain the contradiction in the video? At 1:49 you are saying that the RIGHT leg should be ahead of the left leg to add power. However at 3:15 you say that the LEFT leg should be ahead of the right, so opposite of what you were saying in the beginning of the video :( So which leg should be ahead?

    Every shot instruction, in my humble opinion, must involve: 1. Leg movements/positioning/weight transfer 2. Hand and wrist movements 3. Ball timing: when the ball hit the bat during its trajectory 4. Recovery. Yangyang covered everything except for ball timing. The best timing for top spin shot is when the ball reaches the top of the trajectory or a little bit later. This is specially true when one learns and practices the shot. As one progresses, timing can vary.

    I am the large stroke and too tight arm person, but my greatest problem to overcome is being much faster then the ball impacts by a full stroke of an advanced player when i am standing close to the table in perfect control and placement with own added power to the ball and speed.

    I began playing Table Tennis in Dec. '12. I am very new to the sport, however, take it very seriously and want to learn the proper way to play and have an insatiable desire to be a great player. I currently use 2 different Stiga bats/paddles. I've always used the red side for service or forehand delivery. I see you use hold it just the opposite as I do. What is the difference, please? I am going to switch my method, but would love to know why I should use red for backhand, please? Thank you for any information that you are willing to provide.

    • @reezrun899
      @reezrun899 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      both are the same......its just what you like to use for forehand....black or red doesn't matter.....but you need to have 1 red rubber and 1 black rubber

    Reading all these comments I would like to recall, since it seems necessary, that she's not a piece of meat. -.-'
    I hate the fact that in every video where there's a woman doing a demonstration half of the comments have to dwell upon her appearance. We're really at this point in a society where sexism is raging at the expense of the woman.
    Just think, how many comments about the look would be if there was a man doing the demonstration with short clothes...

    Hi Yang Yang, you are more beautiful externally and she is more beautifully internally. So you two 's beauty complementary to each other. Without her, you are empty. Without you, she is not shinning. The conclusion is that you two must go together all the time to be perfect. If you date any boy, bring her with you. If she dates any boy, bring you with her. So the best game all four of you to play is Ma Chong.
