The more and more I listen, the more and more the Catholic doctrine makes sense to me. Growing up, I was terrified about the “rapture”. I remember having panic attacks as early as 10 years old, because I thought I was going to be left behind. Now, 25 years later, it is the Catholic Church doctrine that is bringing me comfort on this subject.
This is why catholics have a catholic based religion and us fundamentalist have a biblical based faith , Paul said there will be a rapture in Thessalonians 1& 2 which has not been fulfilled . Catholics have a works based salvation , Paul said if you. Believe in that you worship a different Jesus
When we read scripture(NT) in the context it was written (Jewish Apostles, Christ) it will make sense. If we don't understand Judaism, we can't understand Christ's fulfillment of the OT. The peices come together and we start to see the fullness of the truth. Its. So so beautiful!!🙌❤🙏
@@jedturner9173 Doesnt sound like you watched the video. The word Catholic literally means “universal”. As in the universal church. You’re grabbing at something that isn’t there. Catholicism is biblical. Explain to me how it isn’t? Get outside of your fundamentalist church, do some research, and explain to me how it isn’t. I can see how you would think Paul is talking about a rapture, but he’s not. He’s talking about those that are still alive at the time of the second coming. Also, Catholics don’t have a “works based salvation”. This is such an elementary topic. Nowhere in any Catholic dogma does it say we earn our salvation. Salvation is a gift by the grace of God. But we also don’t believe that it’s “faith ‘alone’ “ as the scriptures don’t say this.
I have been catholic all my life and this is the first time I have heard about the rapture. As you said, this is not a Catholic teaching. Thank you Keith to make a podcast about this topic. It is important to be informed.
Jesus saved me from deep occult/demonic/yogic/satanic/shamanism/buddhism/etc . In new age circles there are some occult teachers that are propagating an end of times/rapture. Even Eckhart Tolle speaks of a new earth, a new awakening. Problem is those who get caught in this mass awakening/new earth paradigm don't realize who is their master, who is guiding them? Trust me after following/studying with these "angels of light" I am grateful the dark spirits (thought was seeking enlightenment and was studying in the light) turned on me - seek kill and destroy is what the enemy does! That is how I came to the Lord 🕊 and had a supernatural experience reading the Bible. Finally realized my belief that God could be put in a box as per 12 step ideology anything I wanted Him to be and I could study with shamans, masters, teachers, yogis and that was fine, enlightenment was the destination. Since being saved, Holy Spirit has me back in Catholic church in RCIA, after mega deliverance/exorcist prayers, healing and letting go of the past.. Holy Spirit can heal our minds of cult-like indoctrination; whether learned in a church, family, or oc"cult" to clearly discern the truth. For me it took time. I was a tough nut for God to crack and it had to get intense for me to be humbled from my guru addiction and indoctrinations in the occult. Once Jesus came in my heart all spiritual seeking ended! Thank goodness 😅 Now I know who I serve and what kingdom and I know about deception of the enemy. So thankful God has graced me with some wisdom and discernment vs the past where I trusted "coincidences" and "manifestations" that were leading me to hell as I now absolutely know that hell is real. Bless you Keith 🕊
It is said a Catholic Jesuit planted the idea into Protestants due to the TRENT counterreformation in 1545 Fransisco Ribera. Pope needed to mend his reputation, because Luther and Jan hus, Protestants called the pope Antichrist. In 1830 A scottish teacher took the bait, and started teaching "rapture" . The Jesuit have a reputation for infiltrating and create false testemonys as distractions or missionary works (WW1, WW2, Communism, Antisemitism, is attributed to Jesuits), as to create "the greater good" and in their own words, "the end justify the means", operating in secrecy makes every international calamity attributed to them ... Jesuits have a black pope, popes militia, swear an oath that is to kill Protestants . We Protestants arent very happy about Jesuits . They are Communists to us . We protestants believe in Jesus, but thats not enough, we must submit to the Pope, to the Vatican Kingdom. And thats never going to happen, for "one world goverment" is weakning the nations . We submit to Jesus Christ . Kingdom of Jesus, not kingdom of the Pope, Layola or Jesuits . Jesus will return like a thief in the night . we cant possibly know when, all we know is to have clean clothes . When I read in the Revelation it seems that during Tribulation new believers are accepted to the very end , the door is never shut . Love your enemy, Jesus said . And dont worry ! Politically the scene has escalated into Right and Left . Left is the Globalists, totalitarian, socialists . And Right is conservative, Fearing God .
@@Kenneth_H_Olsen Jerome translated the bible 1200 years before the KJV and used the word, which translated the original Greek word “harpázō” into various forms and tenses of the Latin word “rapio.” All the words, no matter what language, mean the same thing, to be “openly and suddenly caught away, plucked up, snatched or seized.” Maybe there is no coincidence that when God separated everyone, He put the sheep on the "right"
The Word “Baptize”: Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage? Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, “baptize” KJV Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mar_1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
You will live to regret it. I understand only too well the 'attractions' of the Catholic Church - but question your local priest about Scripture - they know nothing about it - It isn't TAUGHT in the seminaries! Yet 'faith comes by hearing & hearing by the word of God.' What commandment was removed from Catholic bibles (though retained in the Hebrew & Protestant)? - in order to support statues & prayer to saints & Mary? How on earth can Mary simultaneously hear prayers from thousands of people when only God is omnipresent? You don't realise you will go to hell for such a wicked sin? No, because the Catholic Church is full of demonic strongholds DESIGNED to take you to hell! (This & many more!) - Wake up for pity's sake! You don't know when you will take your last breath! Jesus is Lord & prayers may only be addressed to God THROUGH Jesus! Thank God he opened my eyes to the lies of Catholicism!
Had a break at work and took a peek. I can’t wait to hear this episode! I guess I wasn’t the only one looking for your clarity. Thanks again for all you do.

Good video Keith. My wife and I are going through RCIA now and plan on converting. One of the most refreshing aspects for us, when reading through the Catechism, is that it doesn't include the rapture. This is called the "rapture theory" for a reason. We have not believed this for over 20 years now and it was not taught until around 200 years ago. It was based on a dream a young girl had, and when you read the dream, it doesn't even foretell of a rapture. It actually goes more hand in hand with the second coming of Christ within His people in fullness. No one knows exactly how it's going to go down and wasting time arguing about it is worthless. Much better to spend time preparing for the bridegroom as the watchman yells from the wall, "The bridegroom cometh!" It seems that when you look at the entire Word of God, when using the scriptures to confirm or deny the rapture, the rapture theory seems to make the scripture contradict itself. I've always been of the mindset that if Truth seems to contradict itself, then the contradiction is in my mind, not with His Word. When you look at Revelation as what it says it is, "The revelation of Jesus Christ" recognizing the allegorical nature of the book, it makes sense and lines up with the rest of the Bible. St. Peter said, "No scripture is of private interpretation." That could mean two things, no scripture is meant to be interpreted by you alone and also no scripture was meant to be isolated from the rest of the Word and made a doctrinal belief. This is unfortunately what has happened with the "rapture theory." Finally, the fact that the early church fathers never made this biblical connection should raise a high degree of scepticism from anyone considering it to be truth.
Rapture passage u asked for...... "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, KJV Look up Gene Kim

Corny stories From Bishop Fulton Sheen: "There are not more than 100 people in the world who truly hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they perceive to be the Catholic Church. ....As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do." “Pride is an admission of weakness; it secretly fears all competition and dreads all rivals.”

you know Keith.... I know St. Paul is so happy to know that a person like you exists and is with us at home. What's great about your explanation is that its not biased in anyway. I was just 15 when I heard about this rapture thing that my other Christian classmates who were not catholic greatly believed. I have always wondered where it is in the bible at that age. 15 years old. I turned 31 last January by the way. Imagine that. Getting a non biased explanation of the concept of the "rapture" as I cant find it in the bible. even in revelations at the age of 31. 16 years later. Thank you. Have a great day Keith I have always thanked god for you and your channel even back then when you were still not a catholic. Whatever blessings you are getting showered with at this time? You deserve it. You're one heck of a blessing to us all. Catholic or not.
Its in 1 Thess 4:17 its not that hard to find, skip forward to 5:9-10 and youll see that it says we are not appointed for Gods wrath. Revelation is talking about the trib, hence the belief in the pre-trib rapture that is layed out in 1 Thess. Im not sure why he even brought up Revelation.
I am afraid that Mr Nester knows very little about the Word of God & his false teaching + his omission to be born again will take him straight to hell!
@@ruthslaughter4306 Don't be deceived because of semantics. St. Paul was knocked off his horse and he was given the chance to choose the truth. At that time there was only the old testament. In effect, St. Paul participated in a "rapture" because he was most certainly in the Presence of God. Jesus makes Himself "Present" to anyone who will become a "True Believer" and partake in the "rapture" of receiving His Body and Blood as their heavenly sustenance. Saints were "raptured" when they participated in the "Special Communion" with Jesus and this is the "ultimate Rapture", an undeniably personal relationship with Jesus. Those nominal Christians who deny this are the one's missing the boat of the "rapture". The one's who receive and believe are the ones who are raptured and this is not one moment in time but transcends time and occurs continually and eternally. By your own words I would say you are not one of those who will be raptured ever, but, who knows, by the Grace of God you could be another "Saul."
@@2009glories My dear friend - Firstly, look up the meaning of the word 'rapture' - it has a Latin root & bears no relationship to the 'common' English word for rapture - The original text was written in Greek - 'Harpazo' - meaning to snatch forcefully away - Paul was indeed 'raptured' but that was much later in his ministry (actually he did not know 'whether in the body or out of the body' - but he stated that he was caught up to heaven - Secondly - we do not reach heaven through 'rituals' but by receiving Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour - it is the atoning, precious blood of Jesus which saves us - A 'true believer' is anyone who believes the gospel - That Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit - that He is the only begotten Son of God & second person of the Trinity - that for the remission of our sins He suffered a cruel death on the cross - that He rose again on the third day, having been seen by many witnesses, & later ascended into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father - ever interceeding on our behalf & from whence He will return as promised - His kingdom will be eternal We are saved by the precious blood of Jesus - God bless you

1. There is no 7 years tribulation. The Daniel verses mentioned, used extensively by Protestants, is Zerubbabel mentioned in Zechariah 4:9. 2. Daniel 7 is all about the Roman empire. Little horn is Julius Caesar, the Ten Horns are the Decimviri council ten seats led by the tyrant Appius Claudius, 50 years apart from Daniel's prophecy written down. 3. The False Prophet of Revelation is Flavius Josephus who followed and pledged allegiance to the 2nd (Antichrist) Beast at Armageddon (Siege of Yodfat/ Jotopat site). Flavius Josephus openly predicted Vespasian victory over 3 Kings (emperors). The previous fulfilling Daniel's prophecy. John written this down in 73 A.D. 4. The first schism was created by Flavius Josephus the major Heresy called Temple rebuilding project expectation (140 A.D.). The people who were corrupted by the previous message are Revelation 9 creatures. In contrast, to the 144,000 of the sky event above Jerusalem in 66 A.D.5. The 144,000 are addressed in 67 A. D. in the book of Hebrews (12:1), the 144,000 of Revelation chapters 7 and 14 are the Jews who converted to Christianity after the 66 A.D. event which Flavius Josephus himself recorded but yet denied Jesus. The other Jewish group are the revolutionaries believing in Maccabees era repeat. Flavius Josephus became part of the Babylonian captivity repeat ("Roman Captivity"). Hebrews 10:1-18 refutes all of the idea of having another Temple (Gospel of John 2:18-22). 6. Qasr Nero comes out to be 666, Qasr Vespasian destroyer of the Temple has his own number but he is also a Gog figure (Genesis 10, Ezekiel 38 is Nebuchadnezzar as Gog means Temple destroyer, extract the previous from St. Augustine's treatise - City of God: Against the Pagans (410 A.D.) describing 'Gog and Magog'. Satan is the actual Gog as Satan is mentioned as such in Revelation. Gog means Temple destroyer, Vespasian is a Roman pagan Gog, therefore the first Antichrists are not like political antichrists Beasts who sometimes support false prophets. 4 enemies: antichrists (plural mentioned in the epistles of John), false prophets, Beasts and Gog. 7. The Temple is Jesus himself (John 2:18-22). The call for another Temple is a Heresy which caused the first schism (Revelation chapter 9). Therefore, we now know who the 2 witnesses of Revelation chapter 11 are: Jewish Christian Fathers and Gentile Christian Children/Jewish Christian Children of 144,000. It is a group of people not individuals. Zechariah chapters 12 - 14, there is no 7 years tribulation, tribulation is about the saints struggle against pagan Rome. The Saints prevailed in Revelation chapter 18 through the conversion of (Qasr) Constantine. We are living between Revelation chapter 18 and 19 waiting for the Zechariah 12-14 events. There is no physical Temple because this would undo Hebrews 10:1-18 addressed to the early 144,000 of the 66 A.D. event (Hebrews 12:1). 8. We are living in the age of Nero Redivivus spirit between Revelation chapter 18 and 19 (Jesus' return, Zechariah 12:10, 14:4). Nero Redivivus spirit is the combination of all of them including little horn (Julius Caesar/Qasr Qasr), now no longer in the direction of the Parthian Iran region but anywhere globally. There is no Temple standing because it will undo Hebrews 10:1-18.
@mal'ak emeth you wasted a ton of time typing or copy/pasting all that. I'm a convert, I found the Truth of the Catholic faith just as the owner of this channel did. ❤️ God bless, I hope you find truth.
Sometimes I wonder what evangelicals are gonna do when no rapture comes. And they are living during the tribulation. Maybe at that point they might start questioning their new gospel.
All you need to say is "Belief in the rapture is not a requirement for salvation." According to them, all you need to do is "accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior", so belief in the rapture is mute. The only reason they would need a rapture story is to scare people into loving Jesus, which is not why you should love Jesus anyway.
How can one believe that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by the Heavenly Father, if one can not believe that because He has been raised, we ourselves will be raised from the dead?! Doesn't make sense does it. Let's stick to the Word of God, because it's LIVING, it is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, and it works within those that believe. How can one believe, and have faith if they do not even read the Word of God.
The rapture story is not to scare anyone it's Hope, it's a last warning for God. We are saved through Faith and faith alone. What should scare you is missing the rapture.

Father Val at St Agnes Church in 1968 gave us a sermon on the rapture the nuns in their full habit taught us in school and out of school about the rapture and they said it will come right before the mark of the beast. The the nuns would always use three points in order to teach us first the Bible second history and that included astronomy and tradition to prove their points. If it isn’t a rapture then tell me what you think it is? It is in your Bible. The Catholic Church does not emphasize prophecy because it often contradicts Catholic teaching. Don’t dismiss something when you are unable to present what the Rapture teaching is. You loose any credibility if you can’t get the teaching correct. There are videos on the web that can clearly present the position after that you can make a decision about it. This video is giving the Catholic teaching on Catholic topics but is clearly misleading what is the Rapture position. Thank You for reading this post. God Bless
Let me share what 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 Read it" The Holy Spirit is the Restrainer, he restrains the enemy from doing his evil bidding on the world, He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way That is also description of the Rapture of the Church because the Holy Spirit is the Church of Jesus Christ, The Church has to be removed before the son of perdition is revealed
Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed. For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled with the Holy Ghost and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is.We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away.Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.God told Noah exactly how to be saved, how he must build the ark. Noah didn't come up with his own plan like people are doing today. A sinner's prayer, you just have to believe, etc which is not in the bible. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. If you believe in this message, help spread it in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you!
@RUTH SLAUGHTER I looked up "rapture" and this is the definition: rap·ture /ˈrapCHər/ ---Learn to pronounce noun 1. a feeling of intense pleasure or joy. "Leonora listened with rapture" Similar: ecstasy, bliss, euphoria, elation, exaltation, joy, joyfulness, joyousness, cloud nine, seventh heaven transport , rhapsody, enchantment, delight, exhilaration, happiness, pleasure, ravishment, the top of the world, delectation Opposite of rapture: boredom, indifference 2. NORTH AMERICAN --- (according to some millenarian teaching) the transporting of believers to heaven at the Second Coming of Christ. "thousands of Christians gathered outside Rochester and other cities, awaiting the Rapture" verb NORTH AMERICAN (according to some millenarian teaching) transport (a believer) from earth to heaven at the Second Coming of Christ. ---"people will be raptured out of automobiles as they are driving along" Your choice of definition is limited to what some Christians have chosen to define the word as. Similar to rainbow being hijacked by some to accommodate what they want it to mean. However, the "new definition" does not change the original definition of the word. Their promotion is a promotion of themselves and of "their beliefs" they created themselves to separate themselves from Truth while trying to enjoy what the true meaning is yet at the same time distorting the Truth for their own purposes. I think the Catholic Church does not agree with the second definition but certainly many saints experience rapture as noted in the first definition. God bless you. May the truth reign forever.
You are correct the Church was built on Christ, Peter was not the rock. All one needs to be saved is Faith and if the sinners prayer is faith in Christ they are saved. Nothing else required.
@@2009glories The second definition is incorrect The second coming and rapture are not the same event. The bible tells us no one knows the day or time of the rapture. We do know when Christ returns for the second coming.
So I shared this and a friend who is a pastor and graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary commented: "Is the rapture teaching recent? That was the view four decades ago. But academic research has caught up. There are at least 35 quotes from the early church affirming the rapture, including the Syrian pastor Ephraim, about 400 AD. This should not surprise, because many NT texts affirm the rapture. 1 Thess. 4:13-18, John 14:1-3, Phil 3:20 etc. It is called “the blessed hope” and it is our sincere hope.," Your response?
I’m a Catholic and for a long time I thought the rapture was true and we as catholics believed in that. Why did I believed this way? When I was young I have read Jehovahs witness pamphlets from the wife of my grandfather who was mislead by Jehovahs. I was so amazed when I read and saw the drawings of the rapture. I just recently discovered it that as Catholics we’re nit supposed to believe in those things.

@Keith Nester I am catholic and I believe in pre-tribulation rapture because it is in Bible. Proofs: Relevation 22:16 - I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give witness to you of these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who gives ear, say, Come. Bride because Jesus will coming first for his bride as groom and then Jesus will come as judge. Relevation 19:5 - And a voice came from the high seat, saying, Give praise to our God, all you his servants, small and great, in whom is the fear of him. 19:6 And there came to my ears the voice of a great army, like the sound of waters, and the sound of loud thunders, saying, Praise to the Lord: for the Lord our God, Ruler of all, is King. 19:7 Let us be glad with delight, and let us give glory to him: because the time is come for the Lamb to be married, and his wife has made herself ready. 19:8 And to her it was given to be clothed in delicate linen, clean and shining: for the clean linen is the righteousness of the saints. 19:9 And he said to me, Put in the book, Happy are the guests at the bride-feast of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true words of God. 19:10 And I went on my face before his feet to give him worship. And he said to me, See you do it not: I am a brother-servant with you and with your brothers who keep the witness of Jesus: give worship to God: for the witness of Jesus is the spirit of the prophet's word. There are so many proofs about pre-tribulation rapture.

Thank you for quoting the passages in 1 Thess and 1 Corin. & yes these are referring to the rapture... but NOT the 2nd coming of Christ, which happens at the end of the tribulation. At the second coming every eye shall see him as he comes in great power and glory and he descends to the earth.

My friends, wake up! I pray that your eyes are opened and we all see the truth. I’m not judging anyone, but I feel the truth needs to be said here! 1 Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:17 - Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Revelation 3:10 - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. It’s very clear what the scriptures are saying here. Jesus is coming for all Christians, the “spotless bride”. Jesus told us that we are to watch for the signs, so that we know the season is near. If you’re not being taught the rapture of the church, then you might want to rethink the church you are attending.
@@KeithNester You are completely wrong about this - the Rapture was believed throughout the ages - read my comment & please remember you will be judged on the things you teach others
This was three years ago, so I hope you learned more about the doctrine of the Rapture. Concepts were mentioned as early as the 100s by Irenaes. The church is mentioned only one time as the Bride and it’s only to say it will no longer feast with the bridegroom. The Come up here, from Revelation 4 seems pretty interesting to.

Some of the early church fathers actually DID believe in a pre-trib rapture for example Irenaeus in his "Against Heresies" and also in the Didache. They believed in a pre-trib rapture and a literal 1000 year reign of Christ
I consider myself a devout Catholic who has studied Revelations at my parish. The one problem I see about the Church's stance on the rapture...is that thousands of people -- young, old, even children (men and women) -- are having dreams and visions about the rapture by the thousands worldwide. Surely they cannot all be lying! Acts 2:17 from Catholic Bible says: "And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord), I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams." Believe me, something really is going on. I do believe that no matter what happens as long as we are living out our Catholic faith and beliefs and are staying close to the Lord we are going to be ready for whatever comes. There's more but do not want this to be too long.
That could just be your own fear coming up from your subconscious - If you're not aware of anything hindering your walk with God then I would just dismiss it - but pray about it because everyone's situation is different - God will definitely answer you - Blessings
Thank you, @Keith Nester for talking about the rapture and everything related to it. I was thinking of asking you about it, but I couldn’t seem to formulate the question.
Thanks Keith, the only thing I would add is that Christ was only angry a few times. Once when he cleared the temple, second, when the Apostles pressed him for a time frame of His second coming. Maybe there were other times, but I think He was mostly the Suffering Christ.
As a preteen in the mid-70s, I read Late Great Planet Earth and found it interesting and compelling. Having had a parochial education only, we weren’t really taught about end time events, which made me susceptible to the protestant spin on the end. In Corinthians and Paul’s “twinkling of an eye” statement, he states that the event happens at the sound of the last trumpet. When I read Revelation, the last trumpet occurs after all the horrors of the tribulation. BTW I found the “Left Behind” books an entertaining, fun tale of fiction.
@26:40 Calvin wasn’t a reformist. You’re misleading your people. You’re also saying DONT read and DONT try to understand the Bible. Just worship the Catholic Church. Where is that found in the Bible?

There is a passage that I find helps disprove the dispensationist rapture. In John 11, after Lazarus dies, Martha told Jesus she knew her brother would rise again in the resurrection at the LAST DAY. Rapturist believe the rapture occurs BEFORE the last day. We can safely assume Lazarus will be among the dead in Christ who will rise first then we who are still alive will be caught up. That means the catching-up has to be on the LAST DAY.
This was a good episode! Thanks for addressing this topic. As a former Evangelical, I have friends who talk about the rapture, and I know it's not a Catholic thing, but I appreciate this clear explanation. The good part is, one of my Evangelical friends who is still my friend thinks I will be part of it. :) Most of my former friends think I'll be left behind because I'm an "unbiblical" Catholic now. haha
jellojenna6 ha ha, I always get involved with arguments over it (rapture) . They never listen. Oh well, I’ll just pray for them that God will open up their eyes to the truth. Especially when they said that Jesus said “It is finished” meaning they are already saved and will just sit back and relax while waiting for Jesus’ return. The most important thing is we believe that the body and blood of Christ is present in the Holy Eucharist, ( many miracles on this) and Mother Mary’s intercession.
I recently did a deep dive reading of the Mathew texts regarding people being “left behind”. 2 in a field, one taken, one left. The KEY to understanding this section is the comparison to Noah. Noah was left on the earth, humanity was taken away. Thats the context. The whole of that chapter is the reverse of what people think it is. Those taken away are the unbelievers. The entirety of the Gospels speaks to this. “Winnowing fork”, “sorting”, its with regards to judgment, not some rapture. Contextually a rapture is no where in scripture.
As a prodistant, I agree wholeheartedly with the Catholic view of the rapture. It's not a majority view of prodistants, and we, too, have the same issues discussing this topic with them. It appears to me that they are grasping out of desperation because they're terrified of facing the tribulation, so they're looking for an easy out. We feel that these ones will be the easiest deceived and fastest to fall away the moment troubles hit. If they're right, then all of us are good and will be caught up with them, whether we believed in the rapture or not. But if we're right and we stand in tribulation, then they're not prepared to stand in the face of terror in the name of Jesus. It's not salvational to believe or disbelieve it, but having a false hope prepares no one. It is super frustrating trying to show them in the biblical context what the quotes they're pulling from are actually saying within the context. It's nice to see the same takeaway from you guys on this topic, and while I do find this topic interesting and fascinating to talk about and see all the fairly decent arguments for the different positions on millennialism, the view of pre-tribulation rapture seems made in complete error for very scared people. I don't blame them for feeling fear. Sometimes, fear is a hard thing to grapple with, for sure. However, being afraid won't make things biblical, that aren't.
Mathew 13:20-21 20- The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and receives it at once with joy.. 21- But he has no root and lasts only for a time. When some TRIBULATION or persecution comes because of the word, he immediately FALLS AWAY.

@mal'ak emeth revelations is symbolic😂. Did you get all that info from google ? Which is Christian bias ? I think so . Open your eyes . Later on in revelations you see it doesn’t speak about a church 😂
@mal'ak emeth 1. How do you know that clay somehow represents the church? 2. The whore Babylon is never said to be an unfaithful wife. That's an equivocation on your part. Also it says in Revelation that it represents a city, not a church. 3. And this is the most important thing: you think you know who will be damned and who will not be damned. This judgement ONLY belongs to God. God bless you.
@mal'ak emeth the ole tired “Whore of Babylon” fallacy. The Catholic Church is not a consideration immediately. Why? Because it rests on one hill. ONE.
The idea that a pretrib rapture theory is only a fairly recent idea popularized by John Derby is false. Have you ever read the shepherd of Hermas? Even if you don’t believe the writing to be in accurate document by one of the early church fathers which it is believed to be, the idea of a pre-trip rapture was being talked around in Christian circles back then. The writing is dated sometime between 300 and 400 A.D. I believe. This would indicate that early Christians were talking about a pretrib rapture. Something to think about…
I love the thoughts on sola scriptura. I'll add two thoughts I've used in discussions with our Protestant brethren: ask them, what if I read the Bible, only, and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I come to the same conclusions as the Catholic Church? Would you say my conclusions are wrong? By what authority do you say they're wrong? Second, what is a Protestant to do when the inevitable questions arise about what Jesus meant in John 6, for example, or John 20:21-23 (just to name a couple)? I had to laugh, once, that some anti-catholics actually made a website to address such things and ironically named it "Got Questions". As in, go to this website for answers about the proper interpretation of Scripture, not the authority and wisdom of the 2,000-year-old Church guided by the Holy Spirit. These discussions typically end up addressing authority to interpret Scripture, infallibly. After establishing that the individual disagrees with the ability of the Church to infallibly interpret Scripture, by the Holy Spirit, you can introduce a simple paradox by asking if they are infallibly certain that this Catholic doctrine is false, based on their scriptural interpretation. If they say "no", or take no firm position, then they admit they might be mistaken and you shouldn't believe them. If they say "yes", then they just admitted it's possible to be infallibly certain about scriptural interpretation, and opens the door to asking how they could be so certain in their interpretation, but not the Church? Where did their authority come from, and why should we believe it? No protestant answer is ever sufficient. "An infalible book, without an infalible interpreter, is a useless book." - Father Mike Schmitz
Jared Nathan Why don’t you ask God to reveal you the truth about the Catholic religion . He will reveal it to you because he loves you and wants to save you. Come out of that false religion while you have a chance..tomorrow might be too late
@@josecenteno3273 Why do you assume I haven't asked God to reveal the truth? Do not let prejudice cloud your vision, my brother. The Truth is Christ and everything points to Him. We must have faithful obedience in Jesus our Lord. But this is done according to His will, and His parameters, not ours. We are made in God's image and likeness, not the other way around, and He's calling everyone to the Church He founded, His Body on Earth, and so to be conformed to His will in our lives. You see, you invoke Scripture when you say "come out" of the Catholic Church as a way of implying that the Catholic Church is the whore of Babylon (Rev 18:4). This is a common tactic of anti-catholics. But I have several questions, all related to one another, in reply: What if you're misinterpreting the text? By what authority do you claim to have such an infallible interpretation? For that matter, how do you even know that the Book of Revelation is inspired? How do you even know what the Canon of Scripture is? The fact is, you believe this interpretation because it is the tradition you follow. Someone taught you to read the Word of God in that way and you believed them. Tradition is not bad when it is of God, for example, the Tradition of the Canon of Scripture, of which you seem to abide by (at least with the NT). But traditions of men are condemned. I would encourage you to bring the questions I've asked you before our Lord God. Ask him to reveal the truth about these most fundamental of questions, then pray and research from there. I recommend diving into the history of the early Church. We must beware of following traditions of men, and follow the Traditions of God. May the grace of our Lord guide us. Peace, brother.
Jared Nathan well said! Funny, I had one guy tell me that the Catholic Church got it wrong when they canonized the Old Testament. 11/20/2020: I did not get a chance to listen to all that this gentleman was talking about, but I’ll just say this: We are NOT accepted by GOD bcz of our denomination, or “religious” practices, rules, regulations, and/or traditions. We are forgiven, cleansed and put right with GOD only by, through, because of the blood of JESUS CHRIST. Our salvation is by HIM alone. Only JESUS can save us. Any view/stand on the RAPTURE ( pre, mid, post, pan, and/or no rapture) is secondary. My question to all is HAVE you turn to /focus on JESUS to save your soul? If you are putting your hope, faith and trust in anyone other than JESUS, you are walking on SINKING SAND. TIME will prove ALL THINGS. So, eventually we will KNOW if there is a RAPTURE or not but the most important thing is that we REPENT and turn to JESUS while there is still time because death, like the RAPTURE is imminent and we MUST be ready AT ALL TIMES....JESUS can call us at ANY TIME. PS: I am a born-again believer in JESUS. I do believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. Those who will be removed are all those who are HOLY SPIRIT filled believers. You MUST have the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD dwelling in you. This is not an option. The HOLY SPIRIT is our seal, until the day of redemption, that we are children of GOD. If you have not the SPIRIT of GOD, you are none of HIS, says the scriptures.
Don't be deceived because of semantics. St. Paul was knocked off his horse and he was given the chance to choose the truth. At that time there was only the old testament. James Macharia oh you mean when the tares are gathered from among the wheat and are cast off? The Rapture is a 19th Century innovation that is unbiblical and fictional. Come home to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and be saved!
I grew up in the Episcopal Church. As I have studied the Bible I that there was a lot in the book of common prayer that was taken directly from Scripture, yet never sourced. Like - who quotes Shakespeare and doesn't cite the Book, Act, and verse? I can't read the Bible and not find a problem with praying to Saints, statues, or with rosary beads. To say that the rapture isn't spoken of in Scripture is absolutely false. Jesus spoke of returning for his Bride, Paul wrote about it in 1 Cor 15: 50,51, 1 Thess 4:7 &5. The reason you don't see the word rapture in the Bible in ENGLISH is because the original word is in Greek: harpazo. When St. Jerome translated the early texts into Latin, he translated harpazo (GR) as rapturo (Latin). That word was transliterated into rapture. Darby didn't invent the concept. And don't try to understand Revelation without first reading Daniel 8 -12, Ezekiel 38 & 39, and Zechariah 12 &14. What's more important about the Book of Revelation is that it is not about the Christian Church as it is about Jews who didn't recognize Messiah when he came. Read Romans and you know it's a good thing they didn't or Gentiles would not have had a chance to enter the Kingdom. But read John 3, 1 Cor 15 Here's the most important part. Jesus died for our sins. And our salvation, our ability to face judgement when we stand before God, is only when we are born again, Jesus words, not mine: John 3:16. Read John ch 1-3. Romans 10:9, 1 Cor 15: 1-4. The book of Galatians. When we have eternal judgement, of we have accepted Christ's sacrifice on the cross for sin, that is what protects me. That Jesus stands before the Father and says s/he's with me. Being Catholic does not save you. Being Episcopal wouldn't have saved me. Jesus is the one who offered himself as a perfect blood sacrifice: 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus. - Ro 3:25-26 Jesus doesn't care about whether you believe in the rapture. He doesn't care about what church you belong to. He cares that you know and confess him, and him crucified. 1 When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. - 1Co 2:1-5
I am Catholic but I learned about the rapture from the Protestant Church and The Evengelical Church. I also learned the rapture from watching a great man of faith on TH-cam and his tv show Dr. Jack Van Impe
Hello, brother...I'm a cradle Catholic and listened to Jack Van Impe throughout my childhood and teen years. I will say he had an infectious zeal, rest his soul, which I think is part of what attracts people to him. I used to believe that the doctrines of the pretribulation rapture and premillenial kingdom age were true and wondered why the Catholic Church didn't talk about them more. I considered leaving the Church until I actually started researching what the Church taught, and thanks be to God, I learned the beautiful truth! You owe it to yourself to research these teachings. Jack Van Impe preaches a false view of eschatology. The kingdom is not a future, literal, 1,000 year reign, but it's now, metaphysically manifest through Christ's Church. The "rapture" is not some secret snatching away of the Church before the tribulation, but an act that coincides with the end of time, the resurrection, and the final judgment. I learned the Church actually teaches extensively on the reality of our current age, the eschaton, and what Christ actually did on the cross, but you have to look for yourself, read the Scriptures and Catechism, and pray. The reason you don't hear a ton about the pretribulation rapture from the Catholic Church is because it is an unbiblical tradition and the Catholic Church doesn't teach unbiblical traditions. In fact, the only place in the Scriptures that the "rapture" is actually referenced (1 Thes 4:17), has *absolutely* *nothing* to do with the final tribulation. A great resource to start off your journey on eschatology is the Bible study, "Jesus and the End Times" by Dr Brant Pitre. You won't regret listening to this. Peace, in Christ. God bless you.
William C Watson's book, “Dispensationalism Before Darby,” proved thru 350+ archival sources that the reformers rediscovered Dispensationalism and the Rapture. Darby came along much later and systematized his own interpretation of these doctrines and popularized them. That's all.
There's a lot of deeper conversations that need to happen to appropriately explain this. I'll just go on and say this, you are personally responsible for READING your bible. This applies to Catholics and Protestants. Don't allow yourself to be misled, by false prophets. It's harder to be misled when you are well-read and have a knowledge of the scriptures. At the end of the day, it's YOUR salvation. No man, no priest, or family member can grow your personal relationship with Jesus.

There is no such thing as "the Rapture". It is not in the Bible and God warns those who teach His People to fly. Ezekiel 13:20 Also, Isaiah 52:12 "For ye shall not go out with haste nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward". Do not be fooled by anyone talking of a rapture it is false teaching. Rapture theory began in 1830 and has been promoted by false teachers ever since. If the rapture were true it would be mentioned in Revelation, Matthew 24, and Mark 13 and there is no mention of it because it's a lie.
Love the title! Good question! Jesus said in John chapter 3 “Unless a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The bottom line for both Catholics and Protestants is this: ARE YOU BORN AGAIN? Only born again believers will be raptured because only born again believers are saved. I’m sure there are some Catholics and Protestants that are born again, and I’m sure that there are some Catholics and Protestants that are not born again. It comes down to this: have you accepted Jesus’ death on the cross as the sole basis for your forgiveness of sin, and the salvation of your sole? If you’re trusting in your good works or if you’re trying to keep the law to get saved, then you’re not born again, and if you’re not born again then you definitely WILL NOT be raptured. Try to look at it this way: the rapture is the reaping of people on the earth that have the Holy Spirit in their hearts. God doesn’t care about what label you ware whether Catholic or Protestant. He will be looking to see if you’re born again which is to have the Holy Spirit dwelling in your heart. That can ONLY happen as you ask Jesus to forgive your sins and receive Him into your heart as Lord and Savior. It’s not something you can get from any Priest or Pastor. It comes from only Jesus directly. It says in the book of Titus: “ Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but it’s according to His mercy He saved us”. You can know right now that you can be raptured: Ask Jesus to forgive your sins, and come into your heart and save you. If you truly mean it in your heart then you are born again! If you prayed that then you can rest assured that you WILL be raptured! Hallelujah!!! And God Bless you!!!
I don't understand how they say the rapture will occur when it is like the days of Noah. In Noah's time, he was saved and the bad folks were swept away. So if it like those days, how to people assume that the one who will be taken will be the good one when it could be the bad one taken away!
Don't be deceived because of semantics. St. Paul was knocked off his horse and he was given the chance to choose the truth. At that time there was only the old testament.

Revelation 19 happens immediately (Zechariah 14:4-5, 1st Thessalonians 4:17-18) without a 7 years tribulation. Tribulation has to do with the early Christian Saints victory over pagan Rome (Revelation chapter 18). The 7 years reference has to do with Zerubbabel (a Messiah figure before Jesus (The Final Messiah)). Zerubbabel is Daniel chapter 9 (Zechariah 4:9). "Rapture"/capture occurs but without a 7 years tribulation Theory. It happens immediately. It could be a 2,000 years later or sooner.
The system of satan in my opinion: Order out of chaos. They will crash the worldeconomy. No more cash. Basic income for everybody. No more debts. A vaccine against corona and other viruses. With the vaccine they inject you with a chip , then they can follow you , and do they need 5G. The chip or the vaccine will change your dna, then you are not human anymore. And you cannot enter heaven. Only one Way to escape this wicked world: We must be born again to be saved in this time as gentiles. We must repent and ask Jesus forgiveness for our sins. When your sins are forgiven Jesus baptizes you with the Holy Spirit without using water. Then the Holy Spirit in your heart do not let you sin anymore! Because you get His commandments in your heart and in your mind. Then you love God and your neighbors 100 %. You dont steel , lie and want to have something from others etc. Then you are really born again. Ask Jesus in your heart! 16 May 2011 , I asked Jesus in my heart. I was ill at the time. Overstrained or burne out and very restless. I then felt a vibration going through my body from my head to my toes. Immediately afterwards I became very calm. The next morning I was again very restless. This lasted about a week. I then had a dream that I lived in a prison. And a voice then said to me that the devil had to get out of me. I then prayed for the devil to leave me. Immediately afterwards I felt that same vibration from head to toe again and at the end of it a voice said: you are now free! and now start reading the bible. Suddenly I felt a lot of peace and love. I was changed from a sinful, selfish person to a born again Christian with a lot of love for the other. And experienced a lot of rest. When Jesus has made you free, you are free from sin and free from death. Afterwards my illness was the best thing that happened to me.

You’re wrong about the rapture in the book of Revelation, chapter 4 verse one. “After these things I looked Behold,a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “come up here, and I will show you things which you must take place after this.” sounds like he was caught up to me. The rapture is another name for being caught up, is it not?
It’s a doctrine that was made up by some whacko Puritanical Heretic named Darby over a nightmare that some witch had in 1830. The Evangelicals are the real Satanic cult in religion. I don’t believe in the Rapture anymore as I was given scientific proof that it is impossible to have a nude body flying in the air.
Thank you Keith. I’m like Christy, always get involved in arguments with Protestants with regards to rapture. God would rather urged us to pray unceasingly, receive the body and blood of Christ. I told them that the Church in the Bible meant the one true Catholic Church, that the Bible is made for Catholics and they went even mad
The Bible was put together by the Catholic Church, so yep... made for us to help teach others who don’t know. We are all called to be priest, prophet and king! God bless!

THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS NOT THE TRUE CHURCH THE TRUE CHURCH IS MADE OF THE ONES WHO HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS. THE BIBLE IS NOT MADE JUST FOR CATHOLICS THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN FOR ALL MANKIND SO WE COULD COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. CATHOLICISM DOES NOT SAVE NOR WILL ANY OTHER RELIGION. IT IS THE BLOOD OF JESUS THAT SAVES AND NOTHING MORE OR NOTHING LESS. CONTRARY TO WHAT OTHERS TELL YOU GOD SAYS THAT WHAT THE GREAT WHORE IN THE BIBLE REPRESENTS, THE GREAT WHORE REPRESENTS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. DO NOT GET MAD AT ME GOD WROTE THE BIBLE NOT US. THE WORD OF GOD WAS WRITTEN WAY BEFORE MEN PINNED IT DOWN ON PAPER. PEOPLE NEED TO STOP ON WHAT OTHERS TELL THEM AND GET THE REAL WORD OF GOD AND READ AND STUDY AND GET BORN AGAIN THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL TRULY UNDERSTAND AND COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. AMEN
Brian Fontenot where do you get these ideas from? Obviously you don’t know your history and no one said the Bible was just for Catholics. If the Catholic Church isn’t the “true church”, even though it was the church Jesus established through the apostles, (historical fact), then please tell me which of the 10s of thousands of Protestant churches is. What makes you think Catholics aren’t “born again”? Who told you that? Because that’s just crazy talk... of course Catholics are “born again”. And, yep, if the Catholic Church hierarchy did not put the Bible together for you, you would not have one.
Thanks so much for clarifying this issue of the Rapture. I have an older son who listens to Evangelicals on TV and he is always talking about the Rapture and when it will happen. I can't wait to tell him it is not mentioned in the Bible. I thank God for guiding you to the Catholic faith. I am a cradle Catholic and in spite of some of the bad things that have gone on in our Church I still love my faith and know that God is there guiding us through it all. God bless you Keith.
We have to remember that Jesus chose sinful men (because we are all sinful) to be His apostles. Why we expect all our leaders to be perfect? And He said hell will not prevail against His Church.. which means Satan has and will continue to destroy it from within. I’m not worried either and love that we can receive Jesus daily, if we choose to. God bless!
@Geraldine Best. Please try to introduce Catholic channels to your son. Listen to Evangelicals too much too long, he will be forming heretical ideas and hate against the true Church Jesus founded. There is a good Catholic book on the Rapture. ascensionpress.com/products/the-rapture-trap-by-paul-thigpen

Keith, rapture is a word that refers to the 1st thess 4:15--17 by apostle Paul around 51ad. Also, I like to add St Jerome added the word rapiemur ( latin for rapture ) in Latin Vulgate. For caught in 1st thess 4;17
As a Protestant we always believed ......that Rapture is not a secret but it is The Greatest Glorious Event . The Rapture is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.(Mat 24:31) Millennium is the 1000 years ... the reign of those that are part of the First Resurrection with Christ in heaven .(Rev 20:6)

@@hardtruth9416 Jesus also didnot talk about slavery. But it doesn't mean it's right. He even told them to carved an image of a snake and whosoever look on it will be healed from its bite during the forty years of israelites living in the dessert. Brother, broaden your understanding about Jesus/God, do not confine him within the pages of the scriptures, because many works have been done by God that if written, will not be contained in one book. If you hate the catholics because of the sins of their authority, I will ask for your forgiveness. We too need to forgive them, because they also sinned against their very own people. Satan will never stop destroying Jesus' church, that's why he will infiltrate it through the works of some bad clergies...but as what Jesus have promise, even the gates of hell will not prevail over it. Again.. I am sorry for the sins committed by our authorities.
Thank you Bro Keith. It really helps me to understand what this "rupture" all about. I shared this post to my high school classmates that some of them left the Catholic Church. God bless us all.
So is there protection for the children of God during the tribulation like when they painted their doorposts with blood during Moses times and the angels of destruction passed over them? It seems so in the three days of darkness prophecy, etc.

Believing Christ will take his people before sorrows is not disrespecting your Faith. The fact is we all should be ready with oil lamps filled at all times. Rapture belief saves people and brings many to Christ. As a lifelong Catholic I sometimes felt I was never full and not taught the entire scripture. The Catholic church has taught strongly theology and repetitive prayer. Having any kind of belief in the Blood of Jesus, His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins is a good thing. Get off any hatred of fellow Christians for their longing to be with Jesus.
Teresa D - a quote from Bishop Fulton Sheen: "The Church is like Noah's ark that was full of both clean and unclean animals. It must have had an unholy smell, and yet it was carrying eight persons to salvation. The world today is tearing up the photographs of a good society, a good family, a happy, individual personal life. But the Church is keeping the negatives. And when the moment comes when the world wants a reprint, we will have them."
If you want to be save then work for it. Pick up your own cross. Stay strong to your beliefs even they persecute you. Being a Catholic is not walk in the park.
Hi Keith!.. Thank you for bringing this up.. I am a Catholic but I believe in the Rapture because Jesus said so to the great Catholic mystic, Maria Valtorta. Jesus said that the Roman Catholic are the ones who will be raptured (See dictation entitled: :The Church of Rome at the end of time).. She had several dictations from Jesus about the end times and I have listened to almost all of these dictations compiled in her books entitled, "The Notebooks" and also "Poem of the Man-God" which are more of Jesus' detailed life as dictated to Maria Valtorta..You can also listen to it by going to Massimo Bozzi's youtube channel.. You may go to the playlist and select, "The Notebooks". But to help you search for the specific end times messages of Jesus I will enumerate some down below.. Please note that these were also from Massimo Bozzi's youtube channel. Ive came to a conclusion though after reading almost all of the dictations (not just the ones I 've indicated below) that the Rapture or Hosanna Day Jesus was saying is not after the Great Tribulation but before it or in the middle of it.. Just like what He said to the church of Philadelphia in Revelation, that He will keep this Church safe from the trial that will come upon the world. *Dictation about what will happen in the end times: Title: Events in the Last Times th-cam.com/video/2NPr8wMQvwU/w-d-xo.html *Dictation about the day of the Rapture or Jesus call it the "Hosanna Day" of the Catholics before the Passion of His militant Church on earth (Great Tribulation period or "The Wrath of God")..this is a glorious period for the Catholic Church because this is when the Gospel will resound to the whole world and it will be proclaimed that the Roman Catholic Church is the One True Church established by Jesus. I continued to go up and when I got to heaven Jesus said, Go back it's not time yet. Then later Jesus said to me, Go my daughter and tell my people that I am coming His voice sounded like Thunder and trumphets and I shook like a earthquake! He is coming! Fall in love with Jesus bear good fruit and get on fire 🔥 for Jesus!! He's coming for a Victorious Church and Jesus is coming like a thief in the night 💖 I'm a witness 🙏
To answer the question: Yes. A person has to be saved, in order to be raptured out. Here is how to be saved: dump the Roman Catholic false doctrine and believe the Bible only "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and ... he was buried and ... he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:3-4) "The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (I John 1:7) "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)
Tommy, I agree. I gave my friend scriptures straight from the Bible about how all you need to do is turn from your sins and believe the gospel that Jesus died for your sins and you will be raptured to be with God. God didn’t make it hard and even a child can understand.
How do you know that everything said in the Bible is authentic? What authority decided this? Did you know that for the first 400 hears of christianity they only had the old test ament? The new testament was only a bunch of books letters and manuscripts scattered acriss the christian world. They only had the traditions which was passed down to them. I recommend you read the early church fathers and see what christains actually beleived in the early church. the new testament wss only decided upon amoung many many books to be authentic by the Catholic Church in a synod ig Bishops around 400AD. So all the books you are reading where decided to be put in vy the Catholic Church. But it seems like no where in the Bible does it say hi Im authentic. As a matter of fact the word bible isnt even in there, nor is the word Trinity or many many other concepts we hold on to. You need tradition and a Church founded by Christ to have the true interpretation in order for us to understand it. Otherwise we would end up dissagreeing wildly with eachother with no source of direction. Thats why we have over 40,000 different denominations of protestants because no one agrees with the other. Please take this into consideration and try to look up the history of the early church with an open mind and heart. And most importantly the church fathers as they are the key to understanding what the early church beleived

Thank goodness 😅
Now I know who I serve and what kingdom and I know about deception of the enemy. So thankful God has graced me with some wisdom and discernment vs the past where I trusted "coincidences" and "manifestations" that were leading me to hell as I now absolutely know that hell is real.
Bless you Keith 🕊

There is a reason it's the first time because the Catholic church teaches its people to follow the catechism more than the word of God
@@Kenneth_H_Olsen Jerome translated the bible 1200 years before the KJV and used the word, which translated the original Greek word “harpázō” into various forms and tenses of the Latin word “rapio.” All the words, no matter what language, mean the same thing, to be “openly and suddenly caught away, plucked up, snatched or seized.”
Maybe there is no coincidence that when God separated everyone, He put the sheep on the "right"

The Word “Baptize”:
Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water.
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
“baptize” KJV
Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mar_1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

I have only heard rapture from a Protestant friend. This video makes a lot of sense. Thank you❤
Good video Keith.
God bless you brother may the Holy spirit of God be always with u brother😇❤️🙏🌞

@@2009glories My dear friend - Firstly, look up the meaning of the word 'rapture' - it has a Latin root & bears no relationship to the 'common' English word for rapture -
The original text was written in Greek - 'Harpazo' - meaning to snatch forcefully away -
Paul was indeed 'raptured' but that was much later in his ministry (actually he did not know 'whether in the body or out of the body' - but he stated that he was caught up to heaven -
Secondly - we do not reach heaven through 'rituals' but by receiving Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour - it is the atoning, precious blood of Jesus which saves us -
A 'true believer' is anyone who believes the gospel -
That Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit - that He is the only begotten Son of God & second person of the Trinity - that for the remission of our sins He suffered a cruel death on the cross - that He rose again on the third day, having been seen by many witnesses, & later ascended into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father - ever interceeding on our behalf & from whence He will return as promised -
His kingdom will be eternal
We are saved by the precious blood of Jesus -

Sometimes I wonder what evangelicals are gonna do when no rapture comes. And they are living during the tribulation. Maybe at that point they might start questioning their new gospel.
All you need to say is "Belief in the rapture is not a requirement for salvation."
According to them, all you need to do is "accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior", so belief in the rapture is mute.

PS a well-respected and known person by by the name of monsignor donahoe who ran Saint Agnes also believed in the raptured...... And ourBishop believed in the rapture...... This all happened during a great revival 11 year revival in the Catholic Faith which was influenced by the holy Spirit during our great revival and Protestant pastors would take up three full roles in our church and bring their notebooks and take notes during our great revival and afterwards would ask priest questions about scriptures and are revival......
And I am the President of the United States. Keep believing the propaganda spewed by the psychopath Darby who was a heretic.

@RUTH SLAUGHTER I looked up "rapture" and this is the definition: rap·ture
/ˈrapCHər/
---Learn to pronounce
noun
1.
a feeling of intense pleasure or joy.
"Leonora listened with rapture"
Similar:
ecstasy, bliss, euphoria, elation, exaltation, joy, joyfulness, joyousness, cloud nine, seventh heaven
transport
, rhapsody, enchantment, delight, exhilaration, happiness, pleasure, ravishment, the top of the world, delectation
Opposite of rapture:
boredom, indifference
2.
NORTH AMERICAN --- (according to some millenarian teaching) the transporting of believers to heaven at the Second Coming of Christ.
"thousands of Christians gathered outside Rochester and other cities, awaiting the Rapture"
verb NORTH AMERICAN
(according to some millenarian teaching) transport (a believer) from earth to heaven at the Second Coming of Christ. ---"people will be raptured out of automobiles as they are driving along"
Your choice of definition is limited to what some Christians have chosen to define the word as.
It is called “the blessed hope” and it is our sincere hope.,"
Your response?
The best part is we won't need to wear a mask for that trip.

I am catholic and I believe in pre-tribulation rapture because it is in Bible.
Proofs:
Relevation 22:16 - I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give witness to you of these things in the churches.

My friends, wake up! I pray that your eyes are opened and we all see the truth. I’m not judging anyone, but I feel the truth needs to be said here!
1 Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 - Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
I guess that means all Christians before the 19th century were out of luck when it comes to going to church.

Read in your Bible HEBREWS 2:9
"BUT WE SEE JESUS, WHO WAS MADE A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS FOR THE SUFFERING OF DEATH, CROWNED WITH GLORY AND HONOUR; THAT HE BY THE GRACE OF GOD SHOULD TASTE DEATH FOR EVERY MAN."
So you see no one is left out, this includes CATHOLICS, But a person MUST BELIEVE THAT CHRIST JESUS DIED FOR THEM, SHED HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD FOR THEM,
WAS BURIED AND ROSE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD FOR THEM PERSONALLY FOR THEIR SINS.

2. BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE SAVED, IF YE KEEP IN MEMORY WHAT I PREACHED UNTO YOU, UNLESS YE HAVE BELIEVED IN VAIN.

It does not matter what religion one is, but unless one is born-again they will miss the rapture. We are not saved by a church but Christ alone.

Thank you Keith God bless you and your family 🙏
Mathew 13:20-21
20- The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and receives it at once with joy..
21- But he has no root and lasts only for a time. When some TRIBULATION or persecution comes because of the word, he immediately FALLS AWAY.

"An infalible book, without an infalible interpreter, is a useless book."
- Father Mike Schmitz
especially the third reasoning seems compelling and well found(ed)

But read John 3, 1 Cor 15
Here's the most important part. Jesus is the one who offered himself as a perfect blood sacrifice:
25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin.
- Ro 3:25-26
Jesus doesn't care about whether you believe in the rapture.

You have written THE BEST comment I have read here.

Those nominal Christians who deny this are the one's missing the boat of the "rapture". @@britbritbeauty I do read the bible and I believe when Jesus says that if you do not receive His Body and Blood you are empty, His is not in you and you are not part of Him.
It really is time! Jesus is going to rapture believers very soon!

Tribulation has to do with the early Christian Saints victory over pagan Rome (Revelation chapter 18).

Opposite of rapture:

(according to some millenarian teaching) transport (a believer) from earth to heaven at the Second Coming of Christ. ---"people will be raptured out of automobiles as they are driving along"
Your choice of definition is limited to what some Christians have chosen to define the word as.

God bless!

That was Satan's plan, never tell the people the truth.
God bless!

I almost forgot and to Luisa Picaretta too... The private revelation of the Kingdom of the Divine Wil of God, of which Im a devotee... And one more is to Saint Faustina, of the Divine Mercy and the very efficacious Chaplet of Divine Mercy. ❤
I am glad you believe in the rapture but it is not the Catholic church. The church are the individual believers born-again, follow the word of God
People I have died before as a christian and two angels came and took me up and as I went up I saw another woman die and devils came and took her to hell!! I continued to go up and when I got to heaven Jesus said, Go back it's not time yet. Then later Jesus said to me, Go my daughter and tell my people that I am coming His voice sounded like Thunder and trumphets and I shook like a earthquake! But He said Go my daughter and tell my people that I am coming but I will spew out the Lukewarm ones! People if you are lukewarm please Repent and Return back to your first love in Jesus! He is coming! Fall in love with Jesus bear good fruit and get on fire 🔥 for Jesus!! He's coming for a Victorious Church and Jesus is coming like a thief in the night 💖 I'm a witness 🙏
I'm listening. What more can you say about your NDE?
If you read Revelation 12:1-2 you will find the rapture. By the way the Revelation 12 sign was given to us September 23rd 2017...
Apostle Paul did speak about the Rapture
Thanks Keith for the information about the rapture. I always wonder if it's written in the bible.

Extremely good video Keith, keep up the good work!!!
To answer the question: Yes. A person has to be saved, in order to be raptured out. Here is how to be saved: dump the Roman Catholic false doctrine and believe the Bible only
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and ... he was buried and ... he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:3-4)
"The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (I John 1:7)
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)

There are saints today who are raptured but by your words I would say you are not one of them.
Word Keith.
