Its hard to cross that bridge of just introducing my self but all I really need is just the confidence. Legit recovering from the same shit right now man. Literally exact same story. Im 16 currently. Moved from Canada (lived there my whole life) to pakistan at the end of eight grade. Super shy insecure etc and wasted two years of my life and did jackshit. Now its my last year in this country and im abt to move back and have to work hard to catch up to who I could have become. Tons of missed experiences, friends, opportunities, and life i lost because of that mental roadblock and just being a bitch. My situation gets even more similar because theres a girl who liked me in eight grade who i probably couldve easily kept but now im in the friendzone and forced to move on because you cant pretend to be someone your not and not be outed as a loser eventually lol. Im still pretty ugly icl but im working towards who im going to become so shit doesnt really matter. But yeah. How much do you think those years of experience would have set you ahead relative to who you are now? I still have the potential for achieving everything i ever wanted but the experience of having lived it at a young age in this environment is gone. Fucked up shit man. Im atleast grateful for the fact im having these realisations at 16 rather than 30. I have time. Its just now I have to live with the feeling of "it could have been".
