Thinking about moving to Ottawa raises the questions which I am prettykeen about: housing situat with fair prices for condo, low, high level, homeless around? Public transport network develop? School rates throughout suburbs? Save neighborhoods? Opportunity to get family doctor without waiting years? Pay parking around the city? Labour market for high skilled trades/ engineers or project managers but the real situation? Like how many applicants for average indeed job posting. Would be great to get real info, without water and Wikipedia information. Thank you.

Not technically Ottawa. But it is an amazing local resource for sure. I have spent many days cycling and enjoying the outdoors in the Gatineau hills. Je souvien.

I have lived here in Ottawa for 30 years now, and during this time the city has declined massively. The city is systematically making driving infuriating and illogically, which would be fine if the transit system was completed or functioning. I spent the weekend in Quebec City and it was wild how clean and beautiful it is, Ottawa is a dump in comparison. Don’t get me wrong, Ottawa has some very good parts, and work is very plentiful, but the huge number of homeless and drug users in the downtown is ridiculous.

A big city with the infrastructure of a 3rd world village. You're more than welcome to come but we highly advise against it.
