Well,, I can understand as money's tight in this economy. But this isn't some cheap vinyl, or imitation or just cheap leather. This is handcrafted professionally tooled work here. My late friend made saddles, holsters etc. It's expensive and time consuming. Normally I'll admit I complain about the cost of items but really. 2 to 3 hundred dollars is more than a fair price for these. Well that's my 2 cents. Thanks for posting this.. Excellent quality.

I really wanted a black Beulenpest mask because the metal detail looks amazing, but I would never be able to wear it with my glasses. So I had to settle for a Maximus. Still very excited to get it, though! Christmas can’t come fast enough!

One question, if you don't mind me asking... What kind of stain are you brushing on to the brown Plague Doctor mask? I'd love to try that kind of coloring on some of my masks.
there is reason why the eyes on the model at the museum was offset or more at the side because people back then believed that somehow disease can be transfered thru direct eye contact. its cool remake though
I can Imagine these becoming very collectible if these masks are discontinued very high quality and great level of care was put into these masks I can even see these becoming mainstream Halloween costumes Its just so cool

I plan on making my own leather mask, however the only leather I have available is deer leather. I have two types; White tail deer leather, and Axis deer leather which is much thicker at the neck. Would that work as good or better than cow leather?

you should make a plague doctor mask kit, where you don't put it all together but give us all the parts so we can do the work for you to make it cheaper like we put on the rivets.

They are just like dark glasses. So yes, harder to see at night.
speaking from personal experience, yes it is, all I could see were lights when I wore them at night and they are a bit dark there too
