- I've tried many of the McDonald's from different parts of the country. And for this Singapore McDonald's review, I tried the prosperity menu that they served for the Chinese New Year. This McDonald had the best burger, peach pie, and pandan ice cream! It's by far one of the best McDonald's ever!

Just a heads up for those non-Singaporean viewers.
The prosperity burgers and peach pie is not on the regular menu, and it's only available during the Chinese New Year festive period (Feb-Mar).
The pandan ice cream and prawn paste chicken are also not regular menu items. The MacDonalds in SG regularly comes up with these novel flavours for a limited period only.
For example, we now currently have the nasi lemak burger as special menu item, and the last time it was available was 1 or 2 years back (can't remember exactly when). These items are usually available only for 1-2 months and they're off the menu.

McSpicy has a different name in Malaysia which is the Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, I wonder why they didn't just use the same name.

I miss the McSpicy and the Buttermilk Chicken so much. The former is supremely spicy and juicy. The latter has such a unique texture and flavour.
I always dreamed about trying McDonald's one day in it's great country of origin but now I'm scared. Thank you for telling me. You've saved me thousands of dollars to fly there!
It's not bad but it's not good. It's more of a bland food, but it's consistent. So you aren't likely to be surprised when going to McDonald's by either exceptionally good or bad food. Which I guess has some value when traveling.
Honestly the McDonald’s in the United States are probably the worst.
Large companies likes McDonald’s like to cut corners and use fillers and cheap cuts in their food. This is especially true in the United States as there is no law saying they can’t sell burgers with a significant amount of plant-based filler. They also manufacture their food to be addictive so you keep eating it.

The chilli sauce in McD SG is really garlic chilli sauce, which is why it has so much depth,

The service in the restaurants, stores and shops over there is SO much better too. I was actually fortunate enough to visit one in the Phillipines about 15 years ago, but they only had one burger on the menu. I did try the spaghetti but like Mike said in past videos.. it was way to sweet. However, their fried chicken was good.

I'm with you on the chili sauce with fries, Mike. One of my favorite things to dip fries in is homemade chipotle honey. That sweet&heat combo transforms the humble fry into a wild animal in your mouth. I can't think of a way to improve on it.

You don't have to pick a favourite between them though! Because both of them have different best burgers. The Filet o Fish & Shrimp Burger in Japan is the bomb! Whilst the McSpicy Chicken burgers in Singapore are the bomb!
