I recently participated in an InterNation event in Cambodia, where I had the opportunity to engage with friends and engage in meaningful discussions about their experiences living in Cambodia. We explored their motivations for relocating to the country, the advantages and disadvantages of life here, and what they appreciate about their time in Cambodia. If you are currently in Cambodia and wish to attend the next InterNation event, feel free to check out their Website www.internatio... stay tuned for the next event the event was sponsored by cambodialifestyle.com
Please pin this comment: Cambodia doesn’t only have Angkor Wat. So, what else do we have? Battambang: Known for its delicious food, vibrant music scene, and local artists. Top attractions include the Bamboo Train, Phnom Sampeau Killing Cave, Bat Cave, and Wat Banan. Kampot: Perfect for cycling, Kampot offers a scenic riverside and charming backstreets with historic buildings, markets, temples, and monuments. The province is also famous for its Durian. Kep: Renowned for its fresh seafood, beautiful Kep Beach, and pepper plantations. Koh Kong: Famous for its pristine beaches, Tatai Waterfall, Koh Kong Island (Koh Kong Krao), and diverse wildlife. Mondulkiri: Known for its stunning natural beauty, including Bou Sra Waterfall and Senmonorom Waterfall. The province is home to ethnic groups like the Bunong, Kroeung, and Mnong, and visitors can explore traditional villages and the Elephant Valley. Oddar Meanchey: Home to historical landmarks such as Anlong Veng (where Pol Pot lived), the House of Ta Mok (former Khmer Rouge commander’s residence), and the 12th-century Banteay Chhmar temple. Preah Sihanouk: Famous for its beautiful beaches, including Koh Rong, Koh Rong Samloem, Serendipity Beach, Otres Beach, Independence Beach, and Victory Beach, as well as its islands and deep-water port. Preah Vihear: Known for the Temple of Preah Vihear, a stunning architectural site featuring sanctuaries linked by pavements and staircases along an 800-meter axis. Ratanakiri: Famous for Boeng Yeak Loam, a 700,000-year-old crater lake with clear waters ideal for swimming. The province also features Ou'Sinlair Waterfall, Ka Tieng Waterfall, and abundant wildlife. Ratanakiri is home to various ethnic groups, including the Kreung people, who live in remote villages along the Ton Le San River. Siem Reap: A vibrant city famous for its rich history, culture, and natural beauty. While the city’s significance is widely known, it is particularly renowned for the Angkor temples, one of the world's most powerful cultural landmarks.
Khmer language is easiest to learn compared to others…If you know about 500 words, you just put them together- can start conversations easily…There are no past /present tense or singular/plural like English, French, Spanish etc. There are no tonal differences like Thai, Vietnamese etc…
There are always pros and cons no matter where we live but Cambodia has come a long way with room for improvement. I wish people stop throwing rubbish every where especially the plastic bags. Peace out from a genocide survivor ✌️
Hello! I’m getting ready for my first trip to Cambodia to meet my family and wondered if you have gift ideas that aren’t available there. I thought of maple syrup (because I’m from Canada) and dates (apparently they don’t know this fruit), but practical items seem to all be “made in China” 🤯. Do you Any suggestions? Thank you! 🙏🏼
@mukmuksurin7370 If you only watch content with bad insults, you’ll think badly of that country. If you watch content with good impressions, you’ll see it positively. It all depends on which side you choose to focus on.
I am Irish but I don't talk about it everyday and remind other people I'm Irish, do you know what happened to the Irish people? how we were enslaved, how we were attacked, how we were misused? I'm Irish I'm Irish. I don't care if you're Jewish why should I care anymore than I should care about a Bolivian who has been abused in history? Name a people who have never been abused.
I did a visa run from thailand to phnom penh earlier this year and planned on staying there a month. I left after a few days. I didnt like it at all. super crowded, filthy, and not very much stuff to do.
You only do something when you see white foreigner in trouble because of there money but Thai police stand and do nothing when your own people needed help the most. You should be angry at your country.

Wow always good interviews ❤❤
Welcome to Cambodia
I respect many foreigners who have learned and practiced our culture, and I have to give them a lot of credit for it.
Isn't speaking Khmer not enough for foreigners? I think it is a difficult language....Culture we keep to our own.

Small replicas of Angkor Wat in Thailand, China and other countries in the world started hundreds years ago…
Thai people afraid of one day, there will be no more tourists in Thailand so they can't dress like ladyboys and make money anymore 😂😂
You only do something when you see white foreigner in trouble because of there money but Thai police stand and do nothing when your own people needed help the most. You should be angry at your country.
Creepy Thai creeping up Cambodia again 😂😂
It is not better than Europe. Please speak the truth.
