Jimin worked hard until the day before he enlisted to leave a surprise gift for ARMY-a new album, music videos, and a travel reality show. Jimin said he really enjoyed the process of creating this album. I think this is something someone would do when they truly love and care for someone else. 🥰
Love that line "Letting go of your hand for a moment but it's only a small coma in our story" last December was rugged for ARMY. The last 4 members to go into the military went in 24 hours apart. RM and V went in at the same camp on one day and then the next day Jimin and Jungkook(who actually have been able to serve together) went in and all of them were in until Jin's return this June and Jhope's return this month. Jimin is so sweet. He knew we would just be busted up after the remaining 4 went in and he had this drop right after that to comfort us. He is such a thoughtful and lovely man in all ways!💜 About 8 months to go until they all are out.
I think the full story of Jimin and his solo efforts leading up to military service is told through BOTH the Face album and subsequently…MUSE. You mentioned that he was in a good place, but Face was all about him NOT being in a good place and then at the end of the album, expressing that he was setting himself free…and then came Muse…expressing his hope and trust in the future. That he would absolutely find his hope/next muse. Neither album was a walk in the park for him, as he had limited songwriting experience, although some previously. He stuck with the two projects back to back for over a year. Maybe close to two? When reviewing his live commentary about both projects, it doesn’t appear that there was hardly a break, if any, between the two. I think he divided them into two because it was two different mindsets after the fact that he was trying to express. I will forever see the two albums as a companion set that expresses everything he wanted to say at that time. Thanks so much for reacting to this album. Would love to see you backtrack at some point and review Face as well to get the full picture. One thing that I thought a lot about recently, is how willing he was to be experimental. Even when listening to the two albums back to back, there is just such a wide range of genres, I think he was sort of fearless. But yes, he’s always been that way. Thank you for also recognizing what a gifted dancer he is. He has long been recognized as a pillar and an iconic dancer in the K-pop world. It is literally what made me find BTS, and what a great journey that’s been. 💜

Jimin is a melody genius, he did BS&T melody, critic the DNA melody so they change it, and he did the melody for all most of his songs in his both albuns, you can see that on his face's documentary. also, be mine would be the main track but Jimin said he dont related with the lirycs since he is not in love or have a crush, so he go to usa to als producers to make a song for him wanting to find love, and they made WHO and he liked so much that make it the main single of muse. other fact, he make face and muse at almost the same time, with 2 opposite concepts in mind, thats how hardworker musical genius he is

MUSE Album is reallyyyyyyyy reallyyyy good 😊 I was able to go to Jimin's Exhibit in Seoul last October 18 where it shows a lot of FACE and MUSE process & pictures, experiences, etc.. it's a really gorgeous, and beautiful exhibit. Waiting patiently for Jin's "I'LL BE THERE" MV & Live Clip, and hopefully a full album review as well 💜🫶

The J in Jimin in hangul is a mixture of J and CH sound. Everyone uses J sound but if you listen carefully to Koreans speaking including the other members, you will hear the subtleties. Interestingly they decided to use CH sound for Jimin's BT21 character CHIMMY. Because Jimmy would have been too common or too close to Jimmy Fallon. LOL BTW in Smeraldo it was a live performance, hence the mics.
My favourite track on this EP is… of course, BE MINE! It has everything to be a hit, that magical quality. The melody stays with you, the rhythm is so hot and chill at the same time, plus the Latin guitar riffs, but… somehow it didn’t get the attention it deserves!

I would love to hear your reaction to Lee Mu Jin singing Knees by IU (live). He also shares a duet with IU in the same series called Lilac. All the vocalists in this intimate show were the top contestants in a singing show a few years back. They have such different styles but all amazing. He now hosts a TH-cam series where he sits with an artist from a kpop group and showcases their voice in a relaxed setting. Great to hear them on their own doing different genres. The other artist I would love you to hear is Lee Hi. She was one of the first Korean artists I came across 10 years ago and I was fortunate to see her in concert here in New Zealand. She was incredible live. Her control from power to delicacy was wonderful! Her song Breathe is quite iconic now because she sang it at a memorial for one of the members of Shinee who passed. It was already a sad occasion but her delivery broke everyone completely. She had to pause for part and the orchestra carried on. It was so poignant. Of course it breaks me every time so best to watch in private I guess.

His first album Face is the total opposite from Muse....he made that because of COVID and the fact he couldn't do much... it's a very emotional album and just like Muse it's made by him (composing, producing, writing).

I would love to hear your reaction to Lee Mu Jin singing Knees by IU (live). He also shares a duet with IU in the same series called Lilac. All the vocalists in this intimate show were the top contestants in a singing show a few years back. They have such different styles but all amazing.
He now hosts a TH-cam series where he sits with an artist from a kpop group and showcases their voice in a relaxed setting. Great to hear them on their own doing different genres.
The other artist I would love you to hear is Lee Hi. She was one of the first Korean artists I came across 10 years ago and I was fortunate to see her in concert here in New Zealand. She was incredible live. Her control from power to delicacy was wonderful!
Her song Breathe is quite iconic now because she sang it at a memorial for one of the members of Shinee who passed. It was already a sad occasion but her delivery broke everyone completely.
She had to pause for part and the orchestra carried on. It was so poignant. Of course it breaks me every time so best to watch in private I guess.

His first album Face is the total opposite from Muse....he made that because of COVID and the fact he couldn't do much... it's a very emotional album and just like Muse it's made by him (composing, producing, writing).
