I've been to Ankara...it has some things to see. Istanbul & Izmir are more alluring, though. One tip...avoid going to Ankara in late fall through the winter. The coal oil they burn for heat hangs over the city and pollutes the air.
Compared to Istanbul, Ankara is pretty laid back and certainly not undeserving of a visit. I have grown fond of Ankara. Also, I remember when the Pokémon GO rage had become widely popular around the world, everyone (including myself) would come hang out a bit at Gençlik Park after work. Everyone was catching Pokémon and battling gym leaders/taking over gyms while staring at each other annoyed 😅 it was a really funny time

Mostly natural gas is used for heating in Ankara and as Ankara citizen I can say it is not true what you say about air.
@@nilgunsonat4170 It was in 1985-90.
@@frankmisaege3520 I see. Since 1990 many things have changed. Air is much more clean in Ankara now.
@@nilgunsonat4170 Excellent!
Is there a place of mining facility called Mass Oil and Gas group or Oil and Gas group in Ankara?
My favorite country is turkeyy♥︎‿♥︎
Turkish people are rude. I have been here for one week. Men and women are very rude. Not kind.
