Thanks. Didn't even think of that. Actually, It seems like my own reptile family took care of the problem. I can't even find a pill bug of I wanted too. Just a bunch of fat lizards running around. Lol.
Wow so cool! I actually relocate the little guys now to my city green waste container so they can help compost. I got too much hate mail for trashing them!! Haha. Glad it helped!
Hi oh my goodness!!! I'm going to try this I have soooo many of those things they get into my flower pots can't wait to get rid of them thanks for sharing!!
They are horrible!! But you would never believe this, but I can't even find one pill bug in the garden right now. The fat lizards running around have completely irradicated the problem. So if the oranges do ot work, get some lizards!!! Lol.
Besides killing two Perennial Rhubarb plants, they also killed almost all 50 of my green bean seedlings, only 5 made it. First year I'm having this Rollly Pollie problem, I think it might be due the the wood mulch I used on my beds this year....
I just had these little monsters eat my baby dill plants to the nub. You did give me an idea about loss of your soil. Put them all in the bucket and drown them then toss it all in the compost pile.
Thank you🙂! I wish I had seen your video sooner. Rolly Pollies killed two well established 4 year old perennial Rhubarb pants, and now I'm trying to save the remaining two plants before the Rolly Pollies kill those off too 😖.
Or u can catch them and culture them and sell them to pet breeders since they're like a cleanup crew and a lil side dish to which typa animal they housing.
That's a good tip to get rid of them. However they are decomposers as well. So maybe instead killing it perhaps put them in a bucket full of dead leaves and have them decompose them for fresh soil for you to use on your plants? Just a thought.
I love those blue-tailed lizards, they always inhabit my cucumber patch which I love cuz those rollie lollies tear my cucumbers up. They want to eat holes in the peels but the neighbors cats get in my cucumber patch to hunt the lizards and often break my cucumber vines... How do I keep the cats away?
Thank you for this awesome tip I'm glad I found your TH-cam channel I have so many problems every year with my green beans so I'm going to be doing that I know it's going to work and then probably locate them somewhere else not kill them!!😊💞
I figured the lemons would be too acidic for them. Apples would work too. Just a word of caution, since it's summer, any left out fruit might attract ants.
Catch and give them to local reptile stores, we use them as cleanup crews in vivariums and as a food source for some reptiles.
Thanks. Didn't even think of that. Actually, It seems like my own reptile family took care of the problem. I can't even find a pill bug of I wanted too. Just a bunch of fat lizards running around. Lol.
YOU HEARTLESS SON OF A B****
The three rollie pollies that escaped disliked the videos. lol Great video. Going to try this out to see if it works for me.
Thanks for sharing.
Hope it helps!! I hate those dang little bugers!!!
Thank you!! My friend who studies isopods actually sent me your video because they use it to catch them for studying! 😁

the roly polys will kill you in your sleep for you sins
I have lost more seed and seedlings to these stupid things this year! Thanks!
They are horrible!! But you would never believe this, but I can't even find one pill bug in the garden right now. The fat lizards running around have completely irradicated the problem. So if the oranges do ot work, get some lizards!!! Lol.
Those little aliens from Mars got into my butterhead lettuce this year and totally decimated my entire planting !!!!!
Besides killing two Perennial Rhubarb plants, they also killed almost all 50 of my green bean seedlings, only 5 made it. First year I'm having this Rollly Pollie problem, I think it might be due the the wood mulch I used on my beds this year....
Love this natural solution, thanks! I’m feeding the orange treats to my chickens.🌵🌷😘

@@Earthy-Artist oh no! That's the worst.
Or u can catch them and culture them and sell them to pet breeders since they're like a cleanup crew and a lil side dish to which typa animal they housing.
Thank you! Love your gardening spirit ❤️
Thank you!
I didn’t even know this mF s were destroying my weed seedlings
Nooooooooo!!! Just so you know, I now relocate them to the green waste bin. Since apparently I'm going to hell for putting them in the trash. Haha.
@@steadyasshegrows-lorindape8719 I removed all of them but there are some yellow round eggs left... are it theirs?
@@alexikharatishvili2453 Yes!! Get rid of those.
Im not trying to be mean but i like rollie pollies so if i wasn in that problem i would pick them up in put them in my rolly pollie house
Nice garden. Cut your oranges in slices as they gather under the bottom. At least 1/2 inches thick.
That's a good tip to get rid of them. However they are decomposers as well. So maybe instead killing it perhaps put them in a bucket full of dead leaves and have them decompose them for fresh soil for you to use on your plants? Just a thought.
Thanks for the tip. I suppose I could put them in my Compost bin. I'll try it out!
you can use a potato masher to smash them to a pulp then you have your soil back along with fertilizer!
Duuuuuuuude!!!!! 🤯 Haha. If you only knew how much hate mail I got, just from throwing them in the trash. Lol. But I won't tell if you won't! 🤭

Genius I can’t wait to try this tonight.
Cut them in slices 1/2 inch thick. They hide underneath the bait. Watermelon rinds works excellent too. All melon rinds work.
Collard leaves Also work
What if I just catch a few wild lizards and cut them loose in my house to get them out?
Go for it! I love my lizard friends!!
I get them all over my basement.
This good for tree or bad pls tall me

I'm so glad to help! I've actually been relocating them to my city green waste bin. They can help compost! ❤

Thank you for sharing this. I’m having this exact problem
So glad. Hope it helps!
the roly polys will kill you in your sleep for you sins
Im so doing this tonight! Going to try with tangerines
After putting in bucket, where to throw them out ? Or how to kill after catching them ?
I throw them now in my City Compost Bin.
Hey, the lemons did not work , any other fruit you’d recommend as its not orange season?. Apples, peaches, mangoes?
I figured the lemons would be too acidic for them. Apples would work too. Just a word of caution, since it's summer, any left out fruit might attract ants.
Collard leaves

Can I use grapefruits. Does venigar work?
Grapefruits might work. They like sweet things.

Good tip... instead of killing em.... sell em lots of people sell em as pets!!!
Hey there harmless and beautiful creatures
Plus they might harm your plants but they are more likely good for your garden
Now I relocate them to my Green waste Bin. They can help compost.
Will grapefruit work?
I would think so. Only one way to find out!! Lol. Happy hunting!
Not going to lie but l like roly poly
Thank you. How about springtails? Can I use this method? Do springtails harmful for plants ?
Hi! I've never had to deal with springtails. So I'm not sure. I've only used this method on pill bugs.
