Tomato TuesdayTip #11 Using the Harvest. How to make a Quick Blended Salsa
This is great to know. Pill bugs ate all my seedlings this year. I asked my garden group on FB what to do and they said, “Oh no, pill bugs only eat dead plant material.” Well I was watching them chomp on my bean seedlings. I scooped out as many as I could with a spoon, or else squished them. It seems they were sooooooo bad this year. If they are back next year I’ll use your tip!
@@rc-ki4uy OH no!! I've totally been there. Try this! Hopefully it will help.
same zone as you, what are you planning for fall garden?
My egg plant is blooming but no fruit yet. Does it take time?
Congratulations! You blew my mind! I never knew Inspired
Wish I could share my Mexican zucchini haul! They’re coming out of my ears!
@@lh3130 Good problem to have!!
You're still killing it, so cool!!!
Congrats Lorinda🎉
Congrats Lorinda! 👏👏👏
Great work! All your flowers, veggies, and pomegranates looked lovely. I think I might enter next year. Havent been to the fair in a few years.
You should!
Thank you🙂! I wish I had seen your video sooner. Rolly Pollies killed two well established 4 year old perennial Rhubarb pants, and now I'm trying to save the remaining two plants before the Rolly Pollies kill those off too 😖.
@@Earthy-Artist oh no! That's the worst.
Thanks for sharing your prize winning tomato and the dish that you made up looks delicious😊
Hi! I love your intro! I love you! I just bought a Mr. Stripey at Walmart today for $1.97. I'm SO excited! Thanks for this video. I subscribed 😊
Thank you! Mr. STRIPEY'S are so good!
Hi Lorinda! You are right by me, I like in Pasadena! I am just starting my garden, and looking for some community in the area. Do you have any recommendations?
Hi! What am adventure you are embarking on! Look up "The Urban Homeatead" they are in Pasadena too! They have an amazing story, and teach classes there. I hold classes in Buena Park a couple of times. Year. So follow me on INSTAGRAM. Plant it all!!
I like the idea of
How many hours of sunlight do you think that egg plant receives? Just got a place, I think I only receive about 4 hours in my yard. Thanks! Great video
The more sun the better. 4 hours might be ok, but it may produce slower.
@@steadyasshegrows-lorindape8719 thank you!
Im in zone 10b also. Are you planting out in your garden for spring?
Love this natural solution, thanks! I’m feeding the orange treats to my chickens.🌵🌷😘
Hi Lorinda, I just stumbled upon your channel. I am new to gardening so I’m confused about all the info I read online so I want to ask from someone who is exactly from zone 10B… what month do you actually sow seeds of warm season plants like peppers, squash and cucumbers? February or March? I have setup a makeshift seedlings shelf on our patio (it is not fully covered)
Well, those are still summer crops and they like warmer weather. So even though they wouldn't die planting early, you run the risk of them getting stunted by the cold nights. I wouldn't plant out pepper plants until April/may. Seeds start March. Cucumbers and Squash, I would plant out end of March to April, then another round every 2 months or so. Where r u located?
@@steadyasshegrows-lorindape8719 thank you so much! I’m in Los Angeles city a few miles away from the beach/LAX

Good luck Lorinda!
THANK YOU EILEEN!! I HOPE YOUR DOING WELL!!
If it tastes like a peach I'm definitely getting some seeds! What kind of dough is that you're using?

Oh you poor thing! I'm so sorry. I lost my 40 year old Son in Law to Covid last year. I'm glad you made it through. Long Covid is such a bad thing.
I'm so sorry. That's terrible. My Condolences. Covid is no joke. I'm feeling much better now, but now I hurt myself rollerskating!! 🤦♀️
Hi lorinda!
Hey kiddo!!
awww I love your energy! I subscribed !
Love your supports. I am toying w an idea of making a support cheaply w dollar store hula hoops and bamboo stakes stuck into the pockets taped to the hula hoop. Thanks for the ideas.
Is the vine u r referring to as rudbeckia actually thumbergia? Pretty anyhow
Great growing!
I know we need the rain, but wowza! 3 more days of rain 🌧 than some sun 🌞
Right!! I need to get out there and weed bad. At least I don't have to go out and water. Lol.
Merry Christmas!👏👏👏
You go girl! 😊 Happy, Merry 🎄
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 got them gardening moves!
How are you handling these cold nights? Not quite freezing, but definitely “frosty”!
Good! The garden is tolerating it ok so far!!
Glad you’re feeling better!
Awe thank you. 😊
Good information but about 11 minutes to Long
Do you have a video on how you made your trellis?
Amazing transformation!
Hello Lorinda, I just came across your channel I am in Miami and looking for a ground cover that would be a substitute for grass in other words no mow so cant grow to high been looking at the dwarf mondo grass. but not sold on it some one recommended red creeping thyme but some say good to zones 8 /9 others 10 what would you suggest ? Thanks!
Hi! I'm looking for the same. I'm actually considering a clover lawn for my front yard. It requires very little water, keeps the lawn looking green. You can mow it when it gets too tall or leave it and just edge it. I'm going to try it. I just need to find a place that sells the seed. I'm thinking Johnnie's Seeds. I'll let you know.

What type of Raspberries are those?
Sorry, I have no idea. But I got them at Lowes 3 years ago.
Everytime my zinnias come up I think of you 🤗
Awe. I love watching your videos. Looks like your having a blast! It's so hot over here right now, everything looks beaten, in my Garden right now. Lol. I'm a terrible content creator. Haha. I need more consistency but am lazy. Lol.
Oh wow, that looks pretty cool! Love your idea... could save a lot of space, too! 👍👍😍😍
Hi Lorinda! I'm a new subscriber and newish gardener. I'm in OC too. I moved here from the Northeast just over 2 years ago. I searched YT for "zone 10b garden" and found you.
Yay! Glad you found me too! I love talking to my Zone 10 peeps!
This good for tree or bad pls tall me
@6.09 that is Elephant Garlic, Allium Ampeloprasum. Not even a true Garlic and instantly recognisable by the Korms growing on the bulb.
And are you entered into the OC Fair?? Starts Friday!! I’ll look for you!
Yes!!! Its 1:30 am and I'm still prepping my veggies for show. Ugh. Lol.
