Elizabeth Montgomery loved episodes with animals and kids. Erin Murphy loved Agnes Moorehead, who she looked upon as her grandmother that lived in another part of the US. Liz was like her second mother and Erin loved her very much. There are many scenes, throughout the series, where we see Sam/Liz, Adam/David Lawrence, and Tabitha/Erin together. Two of my favorites are: the first one comes from the first part of the Ben Franklin episodes, MY FRIEND BEN. Sam and Tabitha are sitting at the kitchen table and Sam is reading a child's book about a frog named Fergus. She asks Tabitha what color Fergus was. Tabitha says 'Funny frog." Sam says, "He's not a funny frog. He's green a frog." Then Sam asks Tabitha the name of the frog, Fergus?. Tabitha, "Funny frog." The second example comes from the episode TABITHA'S VERY OWN SAMANTHA. At the end, before the epilogue, Sam explains to Tabitha why she has had to spend more time with her little brother and less time with her, but tells Tabitha that she doesn't love her any less. Sam, "Sometimes real mommy's have to say no, but it still means I live you. OK?" Tabitha, "OK." Sam puts her arms out and Tabitha/Erin throws her arms around Sam/Liz's neck and hugs her, for real. Erin has said that it was more than acting. I love Sam/Liz's relationship with the little baby boy. And he seemed to like being around Liz/Sam. I think that Liz loved having kids onset, since she was so busy working that she couldn't be with her kids so much, except during breaks between seasons. Her son William has said that his parents made sure the time off was special time.
