You need a modern engine in the van, it is like a heart transplant that gives the van a new life. As I have said before I put a Subaru 2l fuel injected soch one in mine and it is brilliant it delivers 135hp which allows me to keep up with modern traffic. They are such a reliable engine and are used in monoplanes. But I suppose that if you did that you would have no content for your vlog because you would have no problems. You will end up spending a fortune keeping the old engine going so just take the plunge and put a Subaru in it. I know it is a more complex engine and you will need to take the ECU and wiring loom from the donor vehicle but to me it was worth it.

Yeah I totally agree with you!! It's a lot of money and do I really want to put that sort of money into an old van or put into into a fresher Vw 🙈🙈
