We stayed in a Parador in Limpias in Cantabria the week before last on the second day we woke up and we thought we could have been in Killarney it was 17 degrees and there was a mist on the hills. We missed out on a trip to San Vicente de la Barquera but had a lovely day the following day in Santander 😂😂😂

The problem with anything free is people still expect all the facilities. The lack of imagination regarding waste is a cultural thing unfortunately. Very backward thinking compared with the UK.

Shane and Ane could you take the time to give us some tips with regard to finding Camping sights in Spain and Portugal. We are travelling to Spain from Rosslare to Bilbao in September. Travelling down to Estepona through Portugal. We hope to visit Fatima on the way. We are going from the 18th Sept to 10th Oct. First time going in our campervan out of Ireland.

I hope Fergus never hears the things you say about him! The tent looked great, but we won’t be swapping out the van any time soon. The whole rigmarole around keeping stuff in the car and having to move everything for cooking etc. what a pain. Stop moaning about the glorious Irish weather! You’ve had the annual sunny day already - what more do you want?

That wind was a great test for the roof tent. It seemed to cope very well. Think the tent is a great idea for short breaks. Always good to try something new. Enjoy the wedding ye are back for & see ye next week.

Don't know where you guys are heading...but if you head inland north Burgos...Please visit a Village called " El Ribero" and film the village...there is also a River that I used to go swimming in when I was a Youngster...there is also a Camping site there in village called " Camping La Isla" My mother and her mother where born in a house that had a cowshed on ground floor...I spent lots of time there at my Abuelos...Grandparents who built the house opposite the Water House...I was brought up in Bilbao in the 70's...I now live in near Denia...The Village is north of a Town called "Medina de Pomar"...The village has obviously changed emensly since how i remember it in the 70's...be interesting to see it...
