How and why would a god ordain an imperfect world in his perfect plan. If he is all powerful and has a perfect plan how could he and why would he allow for imperfection in that plan?
Your 2nd point. You missed the point on what Charlie said. speaking in light of english translation, they used he/him because it is what the original text used. Generally, one may use he/she to refer to God pointing that God is beyond sex and gender. But what the Scripture used is a masculine that is why we use He/Him. Being abba Father is not a sex or gender. It’s describing God’s character. You just pointed out elaborately what Charlie couldn’t on a limited time and out of topic debate.
I understand that that's what he meant. And i disagree with it. It is not merely because of language and/or analogous to His character. And God could not be called she/her/mother. God is eternally Father, eternally the only begotten Son, and eternally the Holy Spirit. I agree that God transcends human gender, but God is in His persons Father/Son. Meaning God is male(analogously speaking) not only characteristically, relationally, but in identity. -Jeremy
