    The print and play hideaway has been very helpful and welcoming. Honestly the most welcoming group I’ve ever been a part of.

      I just heard Martin mention about this group in the last most recent vid and i didnt know about it. I really need to take time to go study up more on this stuff because i have a huge backlog of older games i want to fabricate from files ive found on BGG.
      I just dont get enough time anymore to do the stuff i really want to do.
      I wish i could just stop working for a year and catchup with all kinds of things i would like to do.
      Im hoping this winter i can have more indoors time to do crafting.
      But i have a ton of work to do on my house renovations and 200 other repairs and maintenance projects.

    I went at this hobby completely backwards. I've got a laminator (and laminating sheets), a self-healing cutting mat, long metal ruler, rotary cutter, and a paper trimmer... but I don't have a printer yet! (Although I have used my local UPS store to print some stuff out.)

    Looking forward to your video recommending good PNP games. I don't know of many compelling multiplayer options.

    my first love as an absolute beginner was Spaceshipped .... then Rove and Sprawlopolis and Ancient Realms ( but those are brain melters ) - :) I love pnp ever since, lately backing up KS games like HYVE ( the bee game ) or Complete collection of Radek Ignatow games ( as a part of the Monster Kill pack ) . Just printed out Maquis and currently eyeing Gamma Guild. Thanks for bringing up this amazing topic.

    Hey Martin, can't get enough of your PnP content lately. I've been looking to discover more PnP games and eventually would like to design my own. Currently have Voyages and Lantern printed to test out. PnPFinder is really amazing, thank you for this site! Quick question, it may seem v dumb, but do you have any recommendations on actual printers? Anything I should avoid or recommendations for specs? I've only been printing at work XD
    Edit: I finished the video and saw your recs lol

    Hello, I'm starting out with this 'print and play' thing. The way I found was to print sheets of glueable photo paper and adhere it to a card (pokemon, magic, etc). Then I place them in card sleeves.
    What do you think of this method?

    • @PnPHideaway
      @PnPHideaway  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ramirotapia2217 It’s an okay method, but not necessary to glue the photo paper to the card backing if you’re going to sleeve. The card sleeve will keep them adhered together.

      @@LeslieRogers-g6s You can open the PnP files on your iPad and print them directly to your printer as long as it is WiFi and AirPrint enabled. Your iPad can print wirelessly to AirPrint-enabled printers (most printers nowadays support AirPrint).

    Great video! Are there any potential copyright issues with print and play games and art assets? If so, how do people usually get their images for their projects when they create the files themselves?

    • @PnPHideaway
      @PnPHideaway  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you are creating a print and play game just for prototyping, you can source some free art assets from game-icons.net.
