I love Ajahn Punnadhammo. :) I especially love his humility and open-mindedness for teachings of other spiritual traditions and science branches, while remaining faithful to Buddha-Dhamma. :) He's probably the most humble senior monk I have ever seen teaching. I hope he finds full liberation. :)

Yes and yes!! (Edit): I get so delighted at times by all of that, that I later have to edit the embarrassing explosion of feelings I express here... But yes, it is all super wonderful!

It's really beautiful how sanscrit and Pali language root words show up in polish language. May we all be guided by the Buddhist teaching. Many blessings to fellow travelers

Mahalo for interviewing Ajahn about the library. The Qs were all carefully selected and it was lovely to hear Ajahn's relaxed and candid responses. The video tour around the Hermitage was a big plus, too! It was a totally worthwhile 30 minutes spent to get to know Ajahn and his surroundings better. He doesn't know it but I consider him to be one of my primary teachers. Thank you so much, again! Much metta to all 🙏.

That's great to hear! It always gladdens me when somebody calls Ajahn their "primary teacher". I wish he was *everybody's* primary teacher. Truthfulness and clear-mindedness before all!

Sadhu, sadhu, sadhu. A most interesting glimpse at the Arrow River Hermitage we don't get to see when Bhante gives his Dhamma talks with Shadow crouched on the arm of his chair. I enjoyed hearing Bhante talk about the library, and the video walkabout on the grounds of the Hermitage. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. But then again, there were no bears shambling out of the forest at the moment. :-)

Ajahn Punnadhammo has become one of my favorite teachers along with Ajahn Sumedho and Ajahn Jayassaro, his whole personality is so likeable. Thank you so much for everything Ajahn! PS: I know personality might not be the right word! 😜

I wonder if Ajahn P. would like to share some book recommendations outside the scope of Buddhism. One book he did mention in another video, The Master and his Emissary, is very beneficial to me.

I wish I could do a retreat with Ajahn... :( I studied History and now finishing Psychology. Also the Zen approach is quite close to the Thai Forest Tradition.
What a great opportunity to learn from him!

Excellent Bhante! It's a shame the collection by Bhikkhu Bodhi are so expensive, so far I only have the Samyuta Nikaya which I felt was a vital one for a layperson 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
