Thank you so much for showing us how to use the Bosch mixer. This recipe is amazing and I’m looking forward to making them soon. Just a safe time and be more efficient with my baking I would love to be able to double the recipe and freeze half of it. How can I freeze these raw so I can pull them out of the freezer for a future day? Thank you again!
Hi Wendy! I would recommend freezing Matrimonial Rolls after baking them. You could break them apart into sections - say 6 or 12 instead of freezing all 24 together. Double bag and freeze up to 2 months for best quality. Thaw them at room temp for a couple hours or unwrap and place frozen rolls in a Dutch oven in the oven for about 30 minutes to refresh. I have a quick video on how to freeze bread/rolls coming out 4 or 5 weeks down the road, but this will get you by. If you want to freeze raw dough, it requires a different recipe. You've given me an idea...💡Michele

It shouldn't rock. If it is, this can mean the suction cups on the base aren't firmly adhering to the counter, so check that and see if that's the case. Another possibility is that the dough has formed a stiff lump and is literally throwing its weight around in the bowl instead of kneading properly. Try adding less flour next time, that should help. Hi Wendy! I would recommend freezing Matrimonial Rolls after baking them. You could break them apart into sections - say 6 or 12 instead of freezing all 24 together.
