Huge tip - Only takes 3 T crash to bring Atraks to final stand. Though it is safer to T crash + Parasite just to be sure. Something I was doing while farming was have scanner save T crash and Parasite for final stand and they can kill by themselves. Don't need every worrying about following them for call out.
With the crypt being 1350 it means you can use sunset weapons, so feel free to dust off that recluse mountaintop combo that hasn't seen the light of day in years
Just a correction, you only need 4 titan minimum to run this farm, 3x thundercrash + 4 parasite on 1st dps drops atraks to last stand scanner user should be a titan tcrash who will not use tcrash on 1st dps. at last stand scanner titan can just tcrash solo the last atraks to finish the encounter
We actually farmed it with 4 people. We all just stayed downstairs till the three servitors were dead, all took the lifts up and did it all at once. Four T-Crashes and a parasite is all it takes.
I love when we tried the parasite combo and 4 of us killed themselves, because they forgot how parasite's arc work and just blew themselves up. It was glorious :D

I did this last week at about a 4 minute loop (generous) using t crash and parasite (overkill). Only 2 red borders dropped cumulatively across all 6 of us after almost 2 hours. I'll pass thanks 😆
I farmed for a minimum of 5 hours a day sometimes longer the week it was farmable I got my pattern unlocked for the shotty and sniper and got 1 red border sword and that was it after farming the entire week. The drop rate seriously needs a buff I’d say in total 10-12 hours alone farming first encounter I saw 1 person get 1 red border trustee and that was it. It really sucks that for those of us with bad rng it’s gna take 6 months to finish all these patterns having to wait each week to buy 1 red border when every other raid that has craftable weapons gives 2 chances a week not just one
in my experience you dont even need everyone's super for final stand. once i bb fishpants parasited the wrong fucking atraks and we still got that onephase
hey your favourite dsc farmer nuqop here. As far as optmising damage goes you only need 3 thundercrash titans along with 2 parasites and a ghorn (once again only shoot them after you have tcrashed). use the ghorn for add clearing up stairs, if you dont know you are required to kill all the shanks and wretches (2 can be alive) to spawn the upstairs servitors. as far as downstairs goes have 1 warlock and 1 titan. warlock camps both left side doors (well + xenophage) and is not required to help with damage upstairs. the downstairs titan can sit on the right side and camp both those doors with a wave frame of some sort. downstairs servitors do not require you to kill ANY of the middle ads (DO NOT KILL THE MIDDLE SPAWNING SHANKS IT WILL SLOW IT DOWN). the downstairs titan can go upstairs if youre fast enough with op but they are not needed. back to upstairs, fire the ghorn at the middle ads near window atraks as soon as you get up then clear the left side with ghorn aswell. kill all the servitors and grab scanner immediately. after you one floor atraks the person with scanner can kill themselves so that the remaining 1 thundercrash titan can pick up scanner and simply tcrash the final atraks on last stand. if you have any questions, ask.
3 thundercrash is enough to get her to final phase, and 1 thundercrash is enough to kill her on final stand, the scanner in my team never thundercrashes atraks in the 1st phase, and when you get to final stand the scanner can just thundercrash the boss and kill it without having to do the whole "wait for the team, do the location callout and 321 go" thing, just see whats glowing and kill it.
I've really been considering doing this since deep stone crypt is like my favorite raid and the new intrinsic trait is really appealing but I think I'd need to see the numbers first. Like an enhanced pugilist enhanced wellspring prosperity seems nice but is it worth it.
I was farming with 3 titans (1 titan to finish off final stand so general health was just 2 thundcrashes) and a blade barage hunter. We had applied radiance by hunter and dine parasite first basically was knife hit the boss, parasites, 2 crashes and a blade barage to finish off what ever is left. Though order didn’t really matter damage. Everyone else is optional
@@jaylieblong It definitely is not farmable. I do a lot of sherpa runs and have done 2 DSCs on the same character in a week when it was off rotation this season and only got loot on my first clear per character.
@@btr1011 I'll even add a grenade. Have yet to miss my damage. There is less start up in air for thundercrash. And maybe that is the key? I'll grenade, parasite, into thundercrash. I'll take damage from parasite, but curiass shield usually procs right after keeping me safe.
I guess he said that in case a less experienced or skilled fireteam wants to farm these. My fireteam only have 2 titans and we can easily farm these and they use 1 at the start and then the other one at the end.
With the whole, hunters need to all be Solar, wouldn't it also be possible with Stasis hunters and Bakris for Overture? I don't recall what the % boost is, but it was pretty decent last I recall
Took me eight hours for that farm to get 5 red bar Succession and 4 red bar Heritage. Then just completed the final encounter to get the last red bar Heritage out of the chest. It was painful but glad I have those 2 out of the way now.
I did 17 hours on Atraks..... During which time I got 27 red border Successions and only 4 red border Heritage, so I did the same and bought it for spoils this week! I managed to knock out all 10 red borders from the Taniks fight for the Sword and Machine Gun in under 4 hours. So now I just have Trustee and Posterity to buy over the coming weeks and then I have everything done :)
I got both on atracks took 20 hours on challenge week so it was double drops. I'm beating the boss once a week for what ever I want after that never again.
me and my friends farmed around 20 times the Atraks encounter (+1 full dsc and 3 more taniks), apart from my guaranteed Posterity, i got 1 deepsight LMG and 1 deepsight succession, =) the luckiest of our fireteam got 3 deepsights, not counting the guaranteed. These drop rates sucks balls
Weaken Clear 100% works, and doesn't proc the damage phase. Had teammates in our run use it and one floor with Parasite knocked out 3/4's of the first damage pool
Yeah so... Debuffs don't function on atraks. Yes before you say the numbers were bigger, they are visually, but it doesn't do anything extra. Atraks in reality is a yellow bar captain lightyears out of map in a little box with the replicas basically tethered to him. Since you can't ever get to the true atraks (without hacking anyway, there are videos) - you also can't debuff them. :(
If you have four people with Cuirass titans, we found weapons were unnecessary for boss damage. Three people T-crash for first damage phase to put Atraks in final stand, then scanner Cuirass T-crashes on final phase. It's also far safer this way because you don't have to get everyone over for final stand. Also, I prefer using Parasite first and immediately hitting the super button as soon as you shoot. It was ultra-consistent, with the only failure ever happening if someone mistimed their T-crash or missed. We did multiple three-man clears this way, using parasite and Cuirass T-Crash, followed by simultaneous Lament for final stand.
Just doing taniks cp is what I’ll probably be doing. From doing it yesterday I got the reconstruction incandescent roll on the trustee. I now, obviously the crafted one is better but still out of my reach thus far

If you're farming, you need titans. No point in doing it without titans. Also you only need 2 titans and parasite to one phase, then 1 other titan saves tcrash for final stand. If you're gonna farm, you gotta be optimal for the most part, no reason in taking more than 1 phase if you're farming
Yup. I’m just going to do my DSC runs every week and grab the free deepsight at the end. You can brute force the drops but that just isn’t a good use of my time - six hours (likely longer) for one gun that I then have to grind for hours to level up? Might as well work on other things.
I was farming Taniks boss CP last week and we had more people get EoT quicker than one person got a red border. Of course, everyone else got the rocket. Except me. Cause fuck my RNG
Also, if doing this (or any farm/ideology for craftable weapons), don't just insta-dismantle any weapon you get. If you get a great/god roll to drop - BE HAPPY WITH IT. You don't need to craft it :)
Will echo some other comments here, 3 x Parasite+TC to get to last stand, scanner uses their TC to finish off while everyone else emotes behind Titan walls.
I have to ask if anyone has encountered a bug where the real Atraks doesn't glow until the last moment before it uses its wipe mechanic? My team encountered this bug a couple times farming it.
I'd have to see what you meant to be able to say whether it's a bug or not. Cuz Atraks' damage phase is also the wipe mechanic. Unless you mean the correct one doesn't glow yellow until the last second?
We had this issue a couple times, usually it didn’t take off enough time for us to wipe, but we definitely noticed that the yellow glow was sometimes delayed. Assumed it had something to do with the server instability last week, though.
Only need a total of 4 titans to do the run 1 holds scanner the 1st 3 put her in final stand and the scanner holder just kills her after that Just 4 t-crashes, It's really brain dead
i did 85 runs over the week and got zero red borders then did my regular clear and got 1 heritage i also got zero red borders for first few weeks of the season too= depression
I gotta disagree with the order. From my experience parasite then super works better. I guess test if you wanna farm test it for yourself and use whatever feels more consistent.
if I had friends in d2 or a clan that was active for longer than 3 weeks after joining AND my last run at a raid wasn't taken king raid in D1, then i'd go farm, good vid though.
The shotgun isn't exactly on my priority list given I already got a God roll of it way back when the real priorities for me are the sniper because bad rng=no God roll and mainly the handcannon after that because yet again bad rng=undesirable rolls.
As if I don't already hate my life enough just trying to stomach doing a raid with LFG sites I really don't need this but still going to watch it because I'm bored.
I'd kill to be able to farm deep stone but every group who tells me "Oh yeah we've done this 100 times" Tends to struggle on the first encounter and can't even pass this encounter. I've never gotten to fully do the raid, all I want is the damn shotgun ;-;

I was farming for 3 hours with missleading/ miss and got 2 drops they were 4:30 minute runs with load times so good.

You can actually use ur parasite during normal damage because 1 T-crash with chest piece is enough to kill atraks

Just go through the raid when its a pinnacle and pickup a focussed redbar on top of that so you dont develop a hatred for it.
You can pick up a 1 res border every week, doesn't have to be the rotation raid

that has potential for sub 1 min if you do it right. personally i can complete the encounter in less then 40/50 seconds with my boys

Last season I did a two man atraks with parasite and t crash w/falling stars as well as a seasonal mod that increased damage of tcrash further.
Was it the “cast your super while almost dead” mod?

Don’t get why 6x warlock should work better than 6x hunter. Blade barrage > Nova Bomb. + u can get radiant from a knife without triggering his dmg

1 holds scanner the 1st 3 put her in final stand and the scanner holder just kills her after that

i did 85 runs over the week and got zero red borders then did my regular clear and got 1 heritage i also got zero red borders for first few weeks of the season too= depression

I gotta disagree with the order. From my experience parasite then super works better. I guess test if you wanna farm test it for yourself and use whatever feels more consistent.
Already got the god rolls in the original raid, I'm not grinding raid RNG again for red boarder drops lmao
I got 7 deep sight heritages but not a single succession in 2 hours of farming...
i got incredibly lucky and have been able to craft both heritage and succession

if I had friends in d2 or a clan that was active for longer than 3 weeks after joining AND my last run at a raid wasn't taken king raid in D1, then i'd go farm, good vid though.
The shotgun isn't exactly on my priority list given I already got a God roll of it way back when the real priorities for me are the sniper because bad rng=no God roll and mainly the handcannon after that because yet again bad rng=undesirable rolls.
As if I don't already hate my life enough just trying to stomach doing a raid with LFG sites I really don't need this but still going to watch it because I'm bored.

Another reason these drops seem so bad is because the raid doesn't have an extra red border chest like the other raids with craftable weapons
I'd kill to be able to farm deep stone but every group who tells me "Oh yeah we've done this 100 times" Tends to struggle on the first encounter and can't even pass this encounter. I've never gotten to fully do the raid, all I want is the damn shotgun ;-;

Cool. Too bad I'll never be able to get any of these since I play solo and raids are too difficult to play by yourself. Seriously, I wish Bungie would add a feature that gave raids and dungeons matchmaking so I can at least play with randos. I've been playing since D1's beta, and I feel like I'm missing out on half the game because I have no one to play with.

I have never done deep stone raid
Horrendous drop rates but manageable specially considering they are some of the best weapons in the game (don’t sleep on commemoration)
It's about 5 mins with swapping the checkpoint unfortunately
