My British, race car engineer boyfriend, who passed away 6 yrs. ago, introduced me to this song and band. I had never realized he was such a "rocker." My dream would be (would have been) to go see them in person, in England with him. Miss my sweet Ron, from Farnborough originally. He lived here in the U.S. for 25 yrs.

With so little music being produced these days that's enjoyable and something to party to I'm pleased that Francis is still doing his thing . Selling tickets and making people happy . Can't be bad . Shame about the purist piss ants who can only drip negative shite . But then isn't that what the socials are all about ?
I went to their 'End of the road tour' in 1984.. apparently their last tour as they were getting too old to carry on - and yet here they are some 28 years later still touring. Talk about mis-selling !
I'm quite sure Mr Rossi needs not to do this anymore........but fair play there are 4 other guys now in the Quo........they & their families all need support also.......plus in truth .....you don't stop supporting any team if the midfield general leaves!
Rhino and Andy are longer serving members of Quo than Alan or Coghlan combined (34 yrs) and Rhino serving 36 yrs and counting and Andy 40 yrs so not really newbies as for Leon and Richie then yes they are newbies though even Leon has toured since 2013. That said long live Quo it will be a sad day when they pack it in all together!

Eine lange Geschichte... Jörg war damals eigentlich noch bei der Bundeswehr in West Deutschland.... als es kurz vor der Sendung bekannt wurde , durfte Jörg nicht auftreten.... Bassist Fred Neudert übernahm einfach den Gesang mit. .
They bring so much to the stage and the audience who just want to have a good time...and they do. As long as folk want to see them live they should play on and we'll just enjoy them whilst we can. I first saw them over 50 years ago at the Marquee in London and would see them again tomorrow at the drop of a hat for an evening of fun and nostalgia....just I have had at every subsequent show.
@@koekelmetperen Alan Lancaster RIP started it off by finding Francis Rossi in 1962 while they were at school. What an amazing 60 years. 🎸🎸 I'm still listening to their glory years in the 1970's.
