Hi! I'm really interested a role in this. Please, do you need hospital experience to become a an investigational drug pharmacist? What certificates or CE can help stand out as an applicant?
It would depend on the location and the studies they are completing. Our institution requires a PGY1 (in any seeting). Hospital experience is preferred due to our study mix, but not required. ASHP does offer an investigational drug certification. Also, being BPS certified in any area can help. I am certified in pediatrics, so my study loan is pediatrics heavy
